Rate this book
Right or Almost Right is based on John Haremza's 25 years of success in network marketing. It's John's answer to the questions so many ask such as, "Where's the money? Why am I not seeing the success I expected?" As John says, "I meet so many intelligent, hard-working, dedicated network marketers who are struggling. They are not seeing the results they expected, and they always as, "Why?" John believes that the small subtleties of how the network marketing business is done make the big difference between making a little money versus making a lot of money, between success and struggling. He addresses many of the basics of doing "the business," from prospecting to leading your organization, and points out what is "right" as compared to what is "almost right." John has lived every example contained in his book. "Network marketing changed my life beyond my wildest imagination," says John. His story is amazing, from living in a trailer park to a well-known network marketing leader. And his story can help you to make your dreams come true too!

You do not need to be a network marketer to gain some valuable information from this book! It is a quick read, packed with a lot of valuable information to assist anyone who leads in any organization! However, it is designed for those beginning in the network marketing business, or those who need help in "moving forward", receiving inspiration, or just a compact refresher course. The five steps circle of success is a great recipe for any life situation outside of network marketing!

John Haremza, suffered from severe dyslexia, all of his life. Many individuals thought he was slow or "dumb". Now he is a multi-millionaire! He shares his amazing story of how he brought himself out of "humble" beginnings to become financially independent. The steps he gives are concise, "right to the point" instructions, easily understood and inspiring.

I have read many network marketing books, but this one I will keep close on hand!

The Book Cover and Title are a perfect "fit"! The brief explanation and examples in each chapter is precise and easily "absorbed" by the reader.

I highly recommend this book - not only to network marketers - to anyone in a position of leadership in other organizations.

Right or Almost Right is a how to book by a successful network marketer offering guidance for those interested in or currently working in this field. It offers a focused, positive and clear message on how this type of marketing works, what it's advantages are - wealth creation and free time - and what it takes to be successful, step by step. The author offers an easy to read writing style that will work well for busy entrepreneurs who need to fit these lessons into their few quiet moments.

I love when an author of this type of book shares his/her personal story first. Who are they and where they have come from are their credentials. Their story offers the reason WHY I should listen to what they say. Haremza struggled in school because of his Dyslexia and was working as a maintenance manager when he began his journey in network marketing. His is truly a rags to riches story. Want to know how he changed his life? It's all here in the pages of Right or Almost Right.

There are several things I felt hit the mark in this book. First - his small step philosophy can be applied to every area of life. Next, dream big and write down your goals. To stay focused and excited, review these goals twice every single day. The author also walks you through his Circle of Success - Prepare, Share, Follow up, Get a Positive Decision - and guides you on how to approach each step along the way. Lastly, the message is clear that creating success takes serious hard work -

"There is always a cost. What will it cost to pursue your dream? The cost of pursuing your dream is infinitely less than the cost of letting your dream die. The cost of neglect is far, far greater than the cost of discipline."

Network marketing is a field that many people are still wary about. John's book helps the reader find out whether he or she is right or almost right in this area.

The book brings out the details involved in network marketing and how one can go about it. The concepts of striving hard towards reaching one's goal, staying focused and working hard everyday, are somethings that can be practised in daily life.

John uses simple language and loads of personal example. This helps erase doubts even if one is a bit skeptical. Practical tips on how to go about thngs, how to motivate people down the line, are stuff which are rattled out by management schools, but through the writings of a man from a humble backdrop, it is definitely inspiring.

Network marketing also needs the same dedication that a regular job needs. The choice is totally up to the reader. John's story is definitely inspirational in this context.n that a regular job needs. The choice is totally up to the reader. John's story is definitely inspirational in this context.

To sum up, in case somebody is already into network marketing, this book will help him or her survive and outshine. On the contrary, if one is willing to take risks, invest time and patience, this book has all the answers with regards to network marketing.

P.S - Thank you Laura of iRead book tours for this awesome book in exchange for an honest review.

FIRST IMPRESSION:

The word 'almost' is one of the most underrated, misused words in the English language. There is a subtely to the word that is hard to understand. The difference between 'right' and 'almost right' is simultaneously huge and little. There is only one 'right'. When it is 'almost right', it is automatically 'wrong' and 'not enough'.

The title captured my attention and I picked up the book based on the summary that said this was his story - of failures, inspiration and subsequent success. The title and the approach were the book's speciality.

REVIEW:

Self help books are a dime a dozen. Most books follow near improbable success stories, sometimes making readers think, 'oh, really? That stroke of opportunity / luck would visit anyone, I am sure'. But Right or Almost Right takes a different outlook. To give the best praise for the book : It is as different as its title. The beginning, the writing and the major things that are highlighted - everything is given in a style that makes people related to it.

Right or almost right? Most often, we end up doing things we think are right and miss opportunities and success by a hairsbreadth. It is at these times that we feel the difference between 'right' and 'almost right'. When everything seems right, but still success eludes you, that is when you reanalyze and check if you have done things right or not. The book explains this concept well and manages to point out common mistakes that people in this field make. The author has clearly highlighted the differences between right and almost right by clearly putting it in boxes.

The book conveys what it wants to convey in very simple words. Here are a few quotes that would give the reader an idea of what to expect.

When the time came to choose between marriage and business:(with the marriage succeeding of course)

"I believe it to be far less damaging to a relationship to try something and risk failure, than it would be to live with the resentment of never having tried at all."

While talking about the family trying to dissuade him

"With the best of intentions people will try to steer you off course, to nudge you off course, to persuade you off course, to distract you off course. They will try to convince you that you are dreaming."

In response to colleauges taunting him:

"...the worst that can happen is that I’ll have to come back and get a job like you have."

Being self deprecating and still managing to encourage people (talking about his dyslexia and feelings of inferiority)

"My experience has convinced me that if I can succeed in this business with my severe limitations and background, then anyone can do it."

On Objections:

"A common mistake network marketers make is that when they’re faced with an objection, they end up arguing. When this occurs, your prospects’ defenses come up and they shut down on you."

In short, Right or Almost Right is an enlightening book - one that would give the reader good lessons - not only in network marketing field but also otherwise.

WHAT I LIKED:
The author's writing style is straightforward, simple and clean.
The book is not a network marketing manual. It is not preachy.
The quotes and notable points given across the 'story'.

WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER:
This is not a self help book that can convince you to go ahead with networking. If you are looking for blind motivation, this is not it!
VERDICT:

Find the actual difference between 'Right and Almost Right'

RATING: 4.5/5

I received a complimentary copy of this book for use in a blog review. All opinions are my own.

Right or Almost Right Takes a Look at Network Marketing from a Real World Perspective. John Haremza is a salesman. That is his career. However, readers won't feel the Haremza is selling them on the positives of network marketing while glossing over the negatives and the difficulties. This book is about some of the negatives--and learning to succeed in spite of those difficulties. The authors uses a lot of real world, real experiences to illustrate the points presented in each chapter. From taking the initial plunge into network marketing, to making business connections and even to effectively using the internet in a face-to-face business model; Haremza tackles the realities of the business with very real, down to earth writing and dialogue.

Right or Almost Right is designed to help readers take their businesses to the next level. I loved the author's approach to this book's subject. We can see a little success by doing things almost right--but, what can we accomplish with a few tweaks in the "right" direction? He speaks from experience and relays his information clearly and concisely, in an easy to read & easy to understand format.

Would I recommend Right or Almost Right by John Haremza? I do see great validity to Haremza's advice to those both breaking into the field or pushing up within the field. I am probably not going dive into a network marketing venture any time soon--but, I have worked with such sales models in the past. Many of his network marketing tips and tidbits of advice relate just as well for those of us working in brand building and traditional sales positions. The author addresses not only the business side of network marketing--but, the emotional side as well. Learning to effectively foster positive business relationships--and deal with daily ups and downs of the business cycle are valuable to any profession.

I enjoyed reading Haremza's story--and his perspective. While it may seem like a "rags-to-riches" story--it serves up some of the realistic, stress, strain and ups and downs of the business. Haremza shares information of value--not to sell his business plan to readers--but, to encourage them to pursue their own dreams and plans. I recommend this book especially to those working directly with multi-level marketing--but, I also believe that anyone working in sales or brand building will benefit from Haremza's words.

“The question is, ‘Are you going it tight or almost right?’” (Pg. 10)

John Haremza is clearly a successful business man, a man that has made a fortune by going into business for himself but how has he done it?

What is Network Marketing?

Network Marketing is a type of business that is very popular with people looking for part-time, flexible opportunities. Companies like Avon and Tupperware are great examples of this. They advertise that you become your own boss, selling products and earning commission.

Now, whilst this may be a great way for some to supplement their income, it is not for everyone. Business today has changed considerably and more than ever before people are looking at how they can make money online, using their entrepreneurial skills to try and get ahead in the business world.

So, is network marketing dead?

I don’t believe so. If you are part of a successful network of people that work together, have support and training to help develop staff members in order for them to reach their full potential then, and only then, will multi-level marketing networks work.

If, therefore, I don’t want to go into Network Marketing, should I bother to read this book?

I am not going to lie, when I first picked up this title, I didn’t think I would gain much from it. I thought that it would be yet another one of those books trying to sell an idea to people; getting them to put their hands in their pockets to purchase something at the end that they would never use or really want.

But, I was wrong. Even if Network Marketing is not for you, this book is still worthy of your time.

There is a lot of heart in this book, and one can feel it oozing out of every page. Most of the book seems to be a pep talk meant to encourage an individual interested in network marketing to get their feet wet, or to give someone already involved in network marketing a boost of energy and enthusiasm. But as a blogger interested in growing my audience, I didn’t find much of good use in here. I thought that perhaps I chose the book wrongly, and that someone with an interest in starting a business will be able to take full advantaged of the advice in ‘Right or Almost Right’.
But that’s the thing: there doesn’t seem to be much practical advice in this book as much as theoretical, pep talk-worth anecdotes and tips and for this reason, I don’t know how much a potential business person will glean from it either. Another intriguing thought: for a book that highlights the importance of network marketing in making modern and quality products available to the public, I was surprised at the number of typos and formatting mistakes peppered throughout (most the latter).
So if you are discouraged and need a pep talk, perhaps after reading a couple of advice-filled business books, then you should definitely pick this one up. You will probably get a boost of energy out of ‘Right or Almost Right’ which you can then use to translate into action whatever advice you have picked up from your study of other books. But alone, I’m not sure how useful it would be.

If you are in involved in network marketing or are thinking of doing it, then I highly suggest you read John Haremza's book because as the title aptly states, it will teach you how to do it right. Written in the first person, Haremza, who rose from poverty and adversity to being a multi-millionare, speaks to his readers as if he were sharing the fundamentals of network marketing over coffee. Haremza simplifies the information, much like the For Dummies series, making this a non-intimidating guide for those who really want to succeed at network marketing.

The layout of the book makes it super easy to read, understand and remember the information. The book is filled with short chapters that include pictures, boxes with key concepts, inspiring quotes and question-and-answers, which I thought was brilliant because it gives confidence when dealing with objections. In any business, when one is confident in how they portray and handle questions from clients, it will help them make progress.

I didn't know quite what to expect from this book, but it certainly exceeded my expectations. Having just recently had the opportunity to get involved in network marketing, reading this book has opened my eyes considerably. Whether you are a newbie at network marketing or someone who has been doing it for awhile but has perhaps lost impetus or is doing it almost right, this book will give you all the tools to make it right and help you achieve the success you can with network marketing.

As my readers will know this is a step away from the norm regards reading/reviewing for me but I was offered this book & it is a subject that is of interest, but it’s often difficult to find a simple solution. So I embarked on this book willing to learn & digest any info relevant to me.

It is cleverly written & well laid out so it makes it pleasant for the reader. Nice short snippets of info, delivered in a friendly manner. Some of it is obvious but that’s what makes it a gem of a book because it will appeal to all levels.

I found myself drawn to John & as I progressed through the chapters I was silently asking him in my head “But John what if” it was almost as though he was pre-empting me because as soon as I’d thought of a question he produced the answer! Many words of wisdom & I know a lot of people who will benefit from this & find it useful .. it’s the type of book to keep handy so it can be dipped in & out of as the need arises.

He uses all of his personal experiences from beginning to end so it encourages in a quiet way .. one step at a time is my motto & it was nice to see that mentioned. All credit to the author for his achievements & thanks for sharing them with us. I received this book from iRead Book Tours in exchange for my honest opinion.

A highly motivating book filled with much excellent advice written in easy to understand language.
John Haremza describes himself as an unlikely candidate for success.
He had obstacles to overcome.
His family was not overwhelmingly supportive at first.
His initial "upline" sponsor did not train him properly. Yet something in John allowed him not to give up. He also learned to identify when it was time to make changes, move on.

John advises on how to choose a company or product and a sponsor.
He is honest that becoming successful will take time and work.
I like his idea of the first days determining your results.
You still need to learn the success systems of your business and take action daily.
The only one you can count on is yourself. A strong support system makes the journey easier but your results truly do depend on your own actions and attitude.

Read this book for good advice and motivation.
You will not learn all the secrets here.

I did receive this book in exchange for an honest review.

Right or Almost Right is geared toward Network Marketers. John Haremza has made a phenomenal amount of money in Network Marketing and, in this book, he not only tells his story but gives a lot of good advice for Network Marketers. He explains the difference between doing what is almost right and what is right...the difference between being good and being great.

Although I'm not a Network Marketer, there were still some things that were still good advice for a small business owner. For example, expecting people to get back to you. "Almost Right: Assuming people will get back to you. Right: Following up within 24 hours." My favorite: "Almost Right: Telling everybody, everything. Right: Listening more and talking less."

Right or Almost Right is definitely a book that anyone who is a Network Marketer or thinking about becoming one should read, probably more than once. Some of the advice also pertains to anyone in business.

This was a really informative book for me. I think that the first chapter is the most important. If I could this apply this philosophy to all my goals, then I would reach them much easier. Small Steps. We can all take small steps. I liked that the author was very honest and helpful. Like everything there are mistakes to be made, and the author also has a chapter on this topic. I like his Say more to less people approach to communication. I also liked the chapter on quitting. I often tell people that the will not win if they do not try. They are afraid of not succeeding. However, what if the outcome was positive, but they never knew because they were to afraid to try? I liked the format of the book, and the tidbits/quotes written throughout. It was an easy book to read and understand. I am giving this book a 5/5 I was a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.

John Haremza's humble beginning makes this success story very raw and heart-warming. He details information in bullet points, steps, diagram images, questions you may be asked and how to respond. This book is an easy read for anyone and very helpful to those who have no background in the field of business or marketing, but would like to start something incredible.
You would be surprised with the amount of useful tips, information and suggestions you can gain from this short read of only 182 pages. I was able to complete the book in a day and instantly, I applied my knowledge and understanding.
The moment you pick up this book, start tabbing pages and take notes as you read. Congratulations Mr. Haremza with your success and thank you for sharing your powerful points to the public.
