Hades and Persephone share a love that is known by millions over thousands of years. But even the greatest of love affairs can hit rocky ground. Zeus forces them apart, banishing Hades into the deepest, darkest parts of Tartarus and into the hands of Hades’s father, Cronus. If that isn’t enough, the king of the Greek gods tears Persephone away from her mother, Demeter, promising to find her a more suitable husband. The rest of the family races to find a way to bring Hades home and reunite the lovers before a deity ends up dead. But when the mysterious tears in reality show their true purpose, will any of them survive?

I received this book from the author for an honest review. *Clapping* I was so excited when I saw this book was going to be about Hades and Persephone. I mean anyone who loves Mythology knows their crazy love story. Being kidnapped with the help of her father, Zeus, to be with Hades and then then finding love though it all. The two have managed to make their love work through all the ages. Zeus got his feelings all butt hurt lately and finally was denied by his family so he does the one thing to hurt his daughter, his love Demeter, and his own brother….he annulled their marriage and sends Hades back to dear ol’ dad Cronus. YIKES!! Not a good place to be!! This book was awesome. I loved seeing the family of Gods and Demi-Gods circling their wagons and looking to rescue Hades plus also looking to stiff Zeus. Dude he is really going crazy. Just because you and your siblings overthrew your parents doesn’t mean your family on Earth is trying to do it to you!! Get over yourself already!! Seeing the love Persephone and Hades have but also seeing the other couples developing more love and respect was amazing. I think Freddy, Juliet, and Mack stole the book. These Demi-Gods stepped up and did everything for their new family and loved ones. I cannot wait for the next installment of the series. I am looking forward to seeing how the family reacts to dear ol’ Zeus wanting to join in the ranks after all the shenanigans he has pulled over the last few months…hell centuries!!
Hades and Persephone has an never ending romance. But after their last stunt with the family her good old dad Zeus wasn’t happy with either of them so what does he do, condemned her marriage and banished Hades into Tartarus and makes Persephone come to DC with him basically holding her prisoner in his house. So the rest of the family has to band together to save Persephone and get Hades back before things get wore then they already are. Will they save everyone in time and get the love birds back into each other’s arms. This is overall a really great book can’t wait to read more. The quick wit and bantering that comes from these God and goddesses is hilarious.
A tender and emotional love story that continues the Gods of DC series. Focusing on Persephone and Hade's relationship, yet also filled with dangerous twists!
"Gods weren't suppose to die yet she knew if it was between him and her, he would sacrifice his life without a second thought."
All of the books in this series read very quickly. I love continuing the stories of characters from past books! This book had more story/plot through the majority of it, and less steaminess.
