Life without love is conventional for Sosa Law, a prominent figure and primal source for the city’s drug supply. The lack of attachments to anything other than the money that he liked to spend, unapologetically, assisted him in reaching his pinnacle. Women were a commodity that he frequently indulged in, but he never stayed too long or afforded them with too much attention. With an empire under his fingertips, his money and time are valued more than any aspect of his hectic life. The lone night, the one that fate leads him to the shared location with lowered lids and an elevated state due to the influence of marijuana, begins to decompose his perspective on the forbidden emotion. Gauge Morrison is simply looking for her forever, impatiently waiting for Mr. Right to show face. She’s gotten his occupation, demeanor, and beliefs figured out in that pretty little head of hers, yet she never expected her knight to wear red religiously, find comfort in his lonesome, avoid attachment, run a lucrative drug empire, tote a gun or two, or be one willing to risk anything for both his freedom and paper. She hadn’t imagined him being so lawless. She hadn’t fathomed he’d be Sosa Law. Happiness is accompanied by pain, and joy is the next of kin to sorrow. The venture to acquiring love for Sosa and Gauge is unmatched, undeniable, and unlawful. Gauge is forced to accommodate Sosa’s ruthlessness, as it begins to affect her personal life, while Sosa questions her loyalty and everything they are trying to obtain.
This story was pretty good and interesting. I love the dynamic of Sosa and G's mystery encounter. And what a whirlwind these two have been on. Their attraction and high sex drives were through the roof but as much as Sosa tries not to get too attached to G she doesnt let it happen. I was really surprised by Caymen. But what really surprised me was the person who is actually after Sosa but why??? Can't wait to read what happens in part 2 and how will Sosa come to terms with that revelation from G.
Gauge and Sosa had chemistry from the jump. Who knew a simple misunderstanding could lead to a fast romance. It was hot and heavy from the beginning with both trying to fight it. Sosa lifestyle begin to get in the way and betrayal of those closest to him caused a down spiral. Where will the couple end after that ending,I'm really not sure! That last page ripped my heart out!
Sosa and Gauge had one heck of a getting to know one another type of relationship. A mixed up call he's included becomes the introduction to the realization that they had something going on. Cayman really surprised me. And the girls... Wow,I'll be back for the next episode.
I’m writing this review after I’ve read the entire series
That’s why there are three stars. By far the best book of the series. Original and believable. I personally have accidentally text the wrong number and formed conversations 🤷🏽♀️ I have nothing bad to say about book one it’s excellent!
Man when is the second book coming out you definitely did that to bad for her friend and his friend people definitely will turn on yuh ou but overall I love it thank u cant wait to read the next one
I love a good series and I’ve just finished book 1 omg what’s gonna happen wii he come back will she shut down will all this be a dream idk I’m so sad she was really hurt after them both losing their best friends and to her losing him at the hands of her mom
I am so glad I started this early in the morning. Intricate, engaging, sexy, suspenseful....I could go on and on. Sosa and G have me sitting on the edge of my seat.
All I can say is wow! I was skeptical at first but I grew to love these two main characters and now I'm hoping the last two books don't make me regret starting this trilogy. On to book two with high hopes and excitement in my heart!
It seems Sosa is catching it every turn he take, can't wait to see what happens next. I know that was a lot for him to deal with his friend. But like Sosa said if its between me and you, I'm going to choose me each time.
Sosa had me smitten from this first text message to Gauge. I can't believe Cayman was whipped like that smh. Poor Brielle sis can't catch a break. Gauge's egg donor better kick rocks!
This book was so good it had me ignoring friends, children and work! I can't wait to read book 2. Also, I need that playlist on Spotify Mercy, I don't do Apple. Please😁
After I started reading this book, I realized that I’d read it in Lawlessly in Love. But I didn’t mind rereading about Sosa and G and would definitely recommend it.
I love Sosa and Gauge! Whew this story has taken many turns and I’m excited to get into the next two parts. This is my first Mercy B book and I’m beyond impressed!
