RYSA WALKER is the author of the bestselling CHRONOS Files series. Timebound, the first book in the series, was the Young Adult and Grand Prize winner in the 2013 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards. The CHRONOS Files has sold nearly half a million copies since 2013 and has been translated into fourteen languages.

In addition to speculative fiction, she occasionally writes mysteries as C. Rysa Walker.

Rysa currently resides in North Carolina with her husband, two youngest sons, and a hyperactive golden retriever. When not working on the next installment in her CHRONOS Files universe, she watches shows where travelers boldly go to galaxies far away, or reads about magical creatures and superheroes from alternate timelines. She has neither the time nor the patience for reality TV.

Just fun

It's summer and I am enjoying Walker's time travel books. It's just a fun brain break from the world of academia.

Short and intriguing, this story perfectly sets up the CHRONOS Chronicles. These are mind-bending tales that explore the craziness of time-travel at a level not usually explored. This series goes beyond the usual "messing with the timeline" stuff and takes you somewhere else. Most stories about time travel assume that it is the property of an elite group at one point in time. These stories explore a much messier approach. Read it.

Fantastic Novella

A great addition to Now, Then and Everywhere. I had already read it and loved it. If you read it before it will be equally good. Love these extras that Rysa puts out. A must read for the new series.

This Origins story drew me in from the first page! I am excited to see a descendant from the original CHRONOS series characters. Looking forward to the next book in the Origins series!

A story set inbetween the Chronos Files and the Chronos Origins trilogies. Linked to the events in The Circle That Whines, this tale finds Madi, a descendent of Katherine and Kate, discovering the Key that Daphne buried and that activating a trip from 2136 to 1905 where she meets June and almost encounters Simon. This taste of time travel awakens her to possibilities she hadn't conceived of before.

A Chronos Origins Story, Full Circle, is a short story that goes into greater detail of what actually happened to Madi the first time she used the Chronos key. It was mentioned in Now, Then, and Every When but is honestly kind of glossed over so it was nice to see what actually happened in a bit more detail.

Great story...

About Madi’s first adventure with the CHRONOS key. It ties in with the original trilogy and The Circle That Whines. It might be better to read this before before reading the CHRONOS Origins first book, but not required. I really enjoyed this story.

Okay. Felt as though if it was edited better it could have been half its length and a single chapter in the first chronos book rather than a novella...

Some sentences were straight up plagiarised from the authors other book. (Now then and everywhere)

I'm enjoying these short stories that give further insight into the characters. I also enjoy the tidbits of history always in them and the ease with which the books connect to each other.

Nice bit of back story to the events of the new CHRONOS trilogy - would have liked it to have been a bit longer

I read this one out of order but a well written introduction to the Origins series. Not necessary to read, but helps fill in the gaps.
