**Comes with a free short story at the end: Marshall and Ruby's Adventure** It started with innocence and laughter. Then came the graffiti, the flames, and the pain.
Something new is in the woods and it is not welcome. Something new is watching from the tree tops, gathering its strength.
Erica Murray and best friend Jess Tidswell finally have a paying client for their paranormal investigation agency but the spirit comes with a warning. Not that it’s needed. The trees of the local woodland are screaming, calling Erica to them, crying out for help.
Erica and Jess aren’t the only ones to answer the call but the new presence in the woods may be stronger than all of them.
A fast-paced paranormal fantasy romance full of love, conflict, strong bonds and defeating evil.
Becoming is the second Erica Murray Mystery.

Fantasy author J E Nice lives in multiple worlds. When she’s not at home on the outskirts of the vibrant city of Bristol in the UK, she’s planning her escape to Scotland and adventuring with ghost hunters, fae, dragons and sky pirates.
She’s been writing her whole life and has tried to write books that aren’t fantasy but a dragon will inevitably pop up. Along with a detective. She has a thing about detectives.
You’ll find her on Instagram at @writeintothewoods where she shares her days, writing updates, dog videos and photos of cake. Because, cake.
Becoming is an amazing second book. Erica and Jess are back, and this time the stakes are higher. Hard to put down once you start, Erica and Jess will lead you through a brilliantly woven story that will keep you engaged for hours. Even if you haven't read book one (although I highly recommend that you do) you can jump right in and enjoy this story.
WOW ! I mean just WOW ! Nice sure has up her game with this book the suspense and scariness. I mean the scary, eerie parts were just that. I absolutely love this story and the characters are still magnificent !!
I received this as an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review.
