This is book five in the Chiltern Hotel series. Rachel is not very lucky in the finding a 'good guy' department. Her ex was a nasty cheater, she received a call from his wife of all people and she warned Rachel away. Her current boyfriend appears to be good until he cancels a dinner date and he was caught at the restaurant with some one else by a coworker. She is done with men for awhile. Chris is the owner of the IT company that looks after the hotel's computers and he comes in to make a few upgrades. He sees Rachel and finds himself instantly attracted to her even though she is reacting to him a little coldly. Rachel is determined not to give in, no more men for awhile but she is struggling with her attraction to Chris. Can Chris convince Rachel to give him a shot? He is a good guy but he needs to show Rachel that as well. A quick, short steamy read sure to make the lunch break pass pleasantly. Enjoy!

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns with emotions that makes you wanting. Rachel front desk manager at Chiltern Hotel, had to call Chris from IT to look at the computers after they crashed. The chemistry between them was sweet and steamy.

Rachel doesn't know what's wrong with her - men cheat, and break her heart in the process. She's sworn off men when she meets Chris, the new IT guy. There's immediate attraction, but her heart... This is a cute insta-love story, with some heartbreak at the beginning. I especially like that Chris is willing to take things as fast or slow as Rachel needs, and he's willing to wait on her. I've loved reading this entire series.

Another quick steamy read

Rachel, front desk manager, meets Chris, IT company owner, when he comes to fix the computers at the Chiltern. As the story progresses an attraction is felt, feelings are fought, and the pat must be overcome if there is a chance for a future. Avery North’s Breaking Promises is another quick steamy read featuring the employees of the Chiltern Hotel.

This was a great story. Rachel bless her heart has gone through two horrible breakups and has sworn off men. When she meets the new IT guy she is smitten but refuses to move on her feelings. Will Rachel open her heart up again or will she be closed off for good? Will Chris, who is smitten, be able to break down Rachel’s walls.

I received this as an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Rachel works at the Front Desk Manager and having been deceived twice, she doesn’t trust men anymore.
Chris is the new computer guy at the hotel but, in fact, she is the owner of the company, not just a simple worker.
I like how Chris insists on talking to Rachel. He knows what he wants and he is not going to lose her.
I thought Breaking Rules was the last book in the series, but I was wrong. I’m happy to see two more books in the series.

The author has given us characters we can understand. Rachel has been left heartbroken one too many times. When she meets Chris, she tries to deny any feelings she has for him. However, since Chris falls for her, he sets out to show that he is not going to break her heart.

I received this Arc in exchange for a fair and honest review. This was the first book I read in the series, yes book 5, but it enticed me to read the rest quickly. It's hot, a little short, but fast paced and interesting. Rachel has sworn of men, after being hurt, but the new IT Guy tries to change her mind. Fun read!

This was a very quick and fun read about Rachel and her life. One of the funny things in the book is also the fact, that the author seems to be a pretty big Friends fan. Apparently this is the fifth book in the series. I haven't read the previous books but you don't feel lost at all. 5 stars.
