"Lust, Money Murder: Book 10, Black Widow" This one is somewhat different from the other installments of this series, I hope my review can do it justice. Elaine's long missing mother shows up out of the blue pretending to be her sister, she claims to be in fear of her husband and is leaving him. She tells Elaine that he was responsible for her father's death, it wasn't suicide but murder. Elaine and Luna set out to find out if there is any truth to Kathy's story. Patrick Brogan supposedly hung himself in his prison cell. A guard gives Luna an outrageous story that Patrick had a visit from a gigolo the evening he killed himself. Finding strange item in death scene picture Luna feels it's murder, but can't prove it. The guard is the only one who could open the cell so him or the male escort are the only suspects.
Elaine meanwhile finagles a job as governess to Spyro Leandrous son Alex, it's a complicated plan. Luna finds out some interesting facts about Officer Tutter, one being that he is deep into the BDSM community. What is their connection to Spyro or her father? Kathy seems to be a very cold and calculating individual herself, can Elaine trust her? Elaine's own character seems to be wavering between the thin line of right and wrong. Will she end up as corrupt as the criminals around her? Her latest move is beneath contempt. Spyro's character seems to be a mirror image of Cattoretti except he seems to have a genuine love for his son, I wonder if Giorgio is capable of true love for anyone other then himself. Both men with the world at their feet convinced that is where everyone belongs, at their feet. Very complicated blending of characters, and their relationships. Once again Elaine will need Dmitry's assistance. Luna will enter the dark seedy world of BDSM, meeting good and bad people with desires on the darker side. All opinions are solely my own and have no ill intent towards the author, publisher , or promoters of this book series. Warning - Adult language and sexual situations. Including talk of rape, planning of murders, and the use of children as motive to their own means. If you are not an open minded person this is not the series for you. This is just a book with the intent to entertain.
Lust Money & Murder part 11 Panacea - In this installment Luna is still trying to find Lonnie , the person she feels is responsible for murdering Elaine's father. a gigolo , con man , sex worker , who blackmails his sexual partners.
Elaine is still working for Spyro but in a wider capacity. she is to go to the Ukraine and pick up a package of what she is told are stem cells, but the reality is much more sinister. She asks Dmitri to meet her their to be her driver through the warring nation. Their adventure becomes complicated, and they barely make it out of the hospital. Being chased by rival Mafia they escape, but in retaliation the Mafia boss sends an anonymous tip of contraband. The plane is ordered to land, but Elaine will not let it. Neither her nor the pilots want to spend their lifetime in jail in this underdeveloped country.
Panacea is a secret organization that caters to the medical needs of the rich, and it's security is staggering. They will go to whatever links necessary to keep a lid on their activities.
Meanwhile Luna has her own close encounter with some redneck clan type , and she has to use some force. Lonnie/Leon or whoever he is these days is no where to be found. He uses many alias like government agents do, that's irony.
Spyro is so impressed with Elaine he gives her another job promotion, and she's in deep.
Dmitri is arrested, this is not good, Elaine is worried that her cover may be blow
Book #12 part #3 Phoenix Rising - A dramatic conclusion to an exciting thrill ride. To me this is a masterful ending to a complicated intertwining of characters. Exposing the bad flaws we all contain but in varied degrees. Shocking family truths, jealousy, and murder. Personal tragedy's convincing a man to do the wrong thing for the right reason.
Bravo - Masterfully done

Love these characters but wish this would end. Now I discover there is another trilogy but there are only two books available with no indication that I can find about when the third, and hopefully final book will be published. I hate having to wait for a book in order to finish a series so I won’t be purchasing the first two books until the third is released.
After reading the Author's earlier 2 books, I find this book not so interesting. Unrealistic, far fatched. Hope in next book he may come up with new realistic idea.
