This is the first book in the Savage Warriors series.
She's abducted from Earth and sold into slavery. Can love break the chains that bind her?
Grabbed from the street in broad daylight, Briony is soon sold to a cruel alien leader who needs human women for a very specific purpose.
They must "recharge" the vicious warriors he forces to fight in his arena.
Given to the best fighter in the section, she finds she has arrived in the middle of a secret escape plan.
She is surprised to find herself attaching to the handsome alien fighter, and puts everything she can into their risky run for freedom.
Will she make it out alive? Maybe. Will she make it out unchanged? Absolutely not. *-*
The Savage Warriors series is filled with steamy, fantasy, alien abduction romance tales. If you like strong women, fierce alien men, and fated romance stories, with nonstop action, then this series is for you! There's steamy sex, some violence, and edge of your seat suspense, no cliff-hangers, and the books are aimed at 18+ readers... Enjoy!
Thank you Susani. This is exactly the kind of book I needed to add to my TBR: New adult Fantasy/scifi with the approval of members of the safety gang. I only wish I could read this right away.
I've read my share of alien abduction sexy stories, but this one just felt weird and the way its written makes reading it uncomfortable...thats the best way I can describe it. I felt like it had alot of weird breaks from scene to scene or like the transition wasnt smooth or like something was just missing. Ya know? Then all of sudden they're in love? And what the f was with those weird ass lesbo scenes which were sooo randomly placed. I don't get it?? The "action" scenes were bleh. I tried really hard to get into this book, but in the end didn't make it past chapter 12.
For those that have same problem like me for example any words referring to the h being so HOT/Beautiful/Pretty/Sexy and the H falls instantly in love at first sight because of it makes you automatically abandoned that book? Well you all can take a huge breath and smile because there was little description on how the h looked like. I find it really refreshing and I have no difficulty reading through the book.
The h is not timid. She has her own strength and you will love her. The H? Yummy. Just Yummy!
The story was action-packed and have HFN ending. No epilogue but I wasn't disappointed at all. I have a soft spot for 2nd and 3rd male chars Jax and Zac and was hoping that Zac (poor guy) will get his happy ending. I get confirmations from the author that both of them will make their appearance in book 2 and 3 and they will definitely get their HEA but they won't be the star of the book. In case if you are wondering why, the H for book 2 and 3 will be from different alien race which is fascinating! I would like to get to know them.
This isn’t love, or even insta love. The girls smiling and being all happy after being raped and crap was awful and not well done. That one scene that ended with the first girls death was way uncalled for. The whole book rubs me the wrong way and I felt dirty after reading it and not in a good way!!
Overall: ⭐️⭐️ Plot/Storyline: 📖📖📖 Feels: 🦋🦋 Emotional Depth: 💔💔 Sexual Tension: ⚡⚡ Romance: 💞 Sensuality: 💋💋 Sex Scene Length: 🍑🍑🍑 Steam Scale (Number of Sex Scenes): 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥+ Humor: No Perspective: First person from the heroine’s perspective
(These are all personal preference on a scale of 1-5 (yours ratings may vary depending what gives you feels and how you prefer you sex scenes written, etc) except the Steam Scale which follows our chart from A Love Less Ordinary )
Should I read in order? This book 1 in Gray’s Savage Warriors series.
Basic plot: Briony is abducted from Earth and sold into slavery. She bonds with her cell mate while planning an escape.
Give this a try if you want: - Darker themes – not in the hero, but in the plot. The two mains are slaves the majority of the book and there is a lot of focus/talk about slavery - Shorter novel – amazon has it at 188 pages - Human heroine/alien hero pairing - You’re okay with some big dubious consent – the hero and heroine are forced to mate throughout the book - High steam – plenty of open door scenes within a shorter page count
My thoughts: This book was not my thing – I tend to really like dark storylines and characters, but this one was just too much for me. The whole book takes place within slavery and it’s very heavy.
The heroine is abducted and brought to a slave building that houses fighters. The fighters are paired with slave women who have to fuck them to recover their health. So basically all the sex is non-consensual from both of them in a way and just turned into a really yucky stockholm feeling novel for me.
I just couldn’t believe these two truly loved each other – they needed time to heal and be away from their trauma before being able to know their minds. I am not sure if I would read more from this author – if I did I would try another series.
Cock Stats: I think it’s normal! No descriptions of any differences I can recall. Hero is huge and covered in brown fur, scarred, and with his hair being almost a mane. His tongue is described like a cat tongue, painful but pleasurable. He also has some slight fangs.
Neither of the mc are willing in this situation, concent isn't possible for slaves. Briony is a strong, adaptable female lead tho she did ask to many questions when she found out abt the escape attempt. She learned a lot from others and listened to them. She also got extremely luck with who she was paired with. Other slaves tortured the women they were given. The hero was strong and caring.
The villains were without a doubt evil. We don't get to see what happens to them, unfortunately .
The story was well written and the author is very creative. A beautiful love story with plenty of action, adventure, slavery, drama, evil villains, love, and sexy scenes that are hot but not over the top with awesome characters. Definitely a must buy?
This book is pretty brutal at times, with women being forced to do things. However, the author handles it well. There is plenty of action and steam and a really nice HEA.
There is no real story here. I think the idea could have been a good story but there is absolutely no character development or real story. Pretty much just sex and a lot of Stockholm Syndrome.
2 1/2 star rating ( I round up ) Okay for slave/ alien porn. Nothing in the way of character development, or plot. Slaves are gave to slaves to have sex with and heal them....okay- then the slaves have lots of sex, main slaves fall in love...bc you know sex all the time does that. (roll my eyes). Not one of my favorites that's for sure. Don't want to read any more in the series.
Eh - Almost didn't finish reading it. Not my cup of tea. Should've known wasn't my thing when one of the women's response to being abducted by aliens is to eat another woman's pussy. Lots of sex. Not convincing characters. They fuck a lot then suddenly it's love??? Plot ok action keeps it moving.

Two stars is the best I can do for this book. Call me old fashioned, but I want a plot for the story. I don't mind the sex, even the weird, kinky stuff, when it is done well. This was just random, seemingly senseless, and not the best I've ever read. The author could have included some serious character development to give us some clues as to how sex is going to help our hero. It might have helped with the heroine, too, so just doesn't just look like an airhead. "Oh, ok. I can do sex." The plot could have been better developed, and had a beginning, but it just never developed. Guess we needed another sex scene. And then, as a couple of plans are made between characters, those fall apart, but wait somehow two bad characters are killed and now, story over. The author could have given detail on these two important character deaths, and a little more wrap up of the result of those deaths.
I know that’s a cheesy word to use in a review when you really want the details of why it’s so fantastic but I’m still getting over my emotional reaction at the end of the story as I write this. I am so very happy that I discovered this author. I don’t know what rock I’ve been living under that it’s only now that I found these books, but it’s about time I did! The pace of the story was the thing that impressed me the most. It moved so well that I felt as though I was part of it. I also found no detail that was unbelievable in the story and that is key, repeat KEY for me in reading a fantasy like this. I know that sounds counterintuitive but think about it. You want to believe this could really happen. And this so could. It’s not comical, the horrors and scary bits are not glossed over, the truth is out there... I think that’s all I’m gonna say about it for now. I’ll let readers discover their own joy. I just have to say how thrilled I am with mine!
Honestly this deserves more stars i give this a 4.5. For a short (4hr) style book its not bad at alllll!!! And for people wondering NO THERE IS NO RAPE(for the main characters)! Idk why people in the review said that there is, but there isn't. There is a little bit of insta love but i can get where it came from; when she got activated (no shes not a robot you have to read it to understand what i mean).i cant wait to listen to the rest!!! Also this book is an erotica so yes there is a lot of sex. I also see people in the reviews complaining about that as well. Dont get me wrong there are some books (erotica) where it’s like pretty much only sex and thats it; but that is not it with this story there is a lot more. i really enjoyed the story and the plot. Dont be frightened by the reviews i was and it took me a long time to actually get to this book and i was extremely pleasantly surprised!
I didn’t really care for the main character for some reason and I didn’t care for the romance it was literally they but the two together in a room and practically forced them to have sex through hormones or drugged something idk (they also had a case of tmi and not enough info on the world so there was a lot of unanswered questions) anyway one minute it was just sex and then suddenly o I love him so much granted I kinda liked the guy once he started to open up more kinda but there was not a lot of development in the story it was the worst case of Insta love I’ve seen in a long time and some of the other behaviors from other characters or the bad guys was just disturbing and added nothing to the story just random
What makes this series from other alien romance books is that both the main characters are slaves.
Briony was kidnapped and is brought onto an alien ship. The other slaves are fighters, and they get "recharged" (back to health) by mating. Each woman is assigned to a fighter, and Briony is assigned to Tal. Tal is the most feared fighter.
They find a connection to each other. Tal was in the midst of an escape attempt and Briony wants to get involved.
Meanwhile Tal's sister is assigned to the owner and so has some freedom, but is also a part of the escape attempt.
I like this series and have already started the next book. It's got my favorite aspects: short, quick standard storyline but a bit of a twist and spicy, no slow burn.
Really couldn't connect with the FMC she was Justine likeable for me but that's not to say I diminish the book, I did. It's 1st person FMC POV only and there is no relationship built or strengthened its not a fated mate love, it's like forced proximity no choice then magically she loves him randomly kind of love. I liked the idea of the story just not the lead female - at all! Lol too weak, too quick to decide she loves him and weird random sex without much explanation. This would have benefited from being about 100 pages longer to build to a more believable romance plot. I liked the premise but for me I couldn't connect to the fmc.
There are seemingly random things like abducted women assaulting another woman orally and everyone just kind of ignores it for maybe days? And the MC jump from heroine to submissive to insecure so fast for seemingly nothing (one moment talking back, gets pushed, and then falls to her knees and stays there) and the dialogue is awful. She seems contemptuous of the other slave women being ok with being paired up right after sizing up potential mates too. It’s stilted and seems to mostly be from a 3rd party giving us vague ideas of emotions.
Written for mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence such as abduction, fighting some to the death, slavery, punishment, torture, rape, etc.
This is a dark alien abduction story that starts a new series. Not sure where the rest of the series will take the reader, but I am looking forward to the next addition.
I read a sample first, it sounded interesting.. Read a second sample, that seemed worthwhile also.. Okay, I'll take a risk.
Yeah, that didn't work. Think of all the worst alien romance trope's, this has em!
Just a few pages past the sample, it all went bad..
I skim read large portions of this, it was the only way I would be able to finish it. Since I already have the next 2 books (shoot me for stupidity I know), I figured I needed to know a semblance of the story (truthfully, it's all so predictable, that's all you need, maybe less, to know it all).
Great Series! I got in a boxed set but I am counting as singles. So good I read one after another. Momentum just kept growing. They can be read as standalones but they are better together. Aliens come to earth and steal women to sell as slaves. Briony meets another slave, Taal. He fights in the arena to the death each time. She is given to him because he regains his strength during sex.
You really need to be 18 years or older and enjoy some hot sex scenes.
