pornography (noun): the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction. addiction (noun): a strong inclination to do, use, or indulge in something repeatedly. crush (verb): to subdue completely... “Oh, it’s impossible.” “I’ve tried for so long.” “I do good and it just keeps coming back around.” “I can’t get past the guilt and shame of it all.” “My marriage is not going to make it.” “They say I am powerless to it.” “I’ll struggle with this forever.” “We’re broken people.” “Recovery is for a lifetime.” “It is the thorn in my side.” I went head over heels into traditional methods to “cure” this thing that was destroying my life, marriage, family, and businesses. Small groups, church groups, men’s groups, Celebrate Recovery, counseling, books, videos, accountability partners, and more. Nothing ever broke it. So I got up and left… And this is how I crushed an 18-year porn addiction, and you can too.
