Loses a Star because story ends with To Be Continued; 3 years later and I'm still waiting to find out what happened.

Took a while to introduce all the characters but the story started off well. Apparently, this is book one and there is no indication that this is a series, found out when I got to the end and things were not resolved.

The Manors of Harrington Point is the exclusive neighborhood of an elite group of people, including a R&B singer, a former child star aspiring to be an actress , a mega pastor and his family, and family that earned their money by winning the lottery.

I truly enjoyed this 💎💎💎💎💎 book by @lacooljill, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good read. I can’t wait to read the sequel.

La Jill Hunt is a local writer who writes urban fiction. I was able to read this ebook in one day. It was an interesting account of a mysterious arson. It was difficult to keep up with all of the characters, but I stuck with it. It gave you a small glimpse of life inside people with money, but it didn't do a lot of character building. I did not like the ending because it left the readers with a cliffhanger. I will be reading other books by her this month. Overall, I gave it 4 starts because it kept me reading until I finished.

**Warning: this text may contain spoilers** I love, love, love La Jill but I will tell you that this story took awhile to unfold and when it did it was so predictable. I really did love the story but I didn't like how it took 8 chapters to meet everyone and how we have to wait until another nook to find out about some characters back story. Overall, I did love it but only gave it a four because it was predictable and took too long to introduce everyone.

I liked the book (published in 2019), but if I would have known that it says to be continued at the end; and there is no part 2. yet (2022), I wouldn't have read it.

I really enjoyed this book! A small neighborhood of mansions with people from different walks of life with a lot going on. A fire to one of the homes brings the neighbors together for a cookout. You gotta read the book to find out what happened and whose involved. I'm looking forward to reading the next book!

Been reading Jilly since forever. I love all of her old stuff. This was one of the newer ones that I wanted to try because it had good reviews and she has a couple of series that people have raved about.
I am not impressed. This book was all over the place. I get what she was attempting but it’s like she was writing miniature novellas that had one thing in common- a neighborhood. I mean it took me several chapters to decide to finish it, and I only did that because I love her past work.
There will be a second installment and I’m not sure I will read it. I mean it was hard to become invested in any of the characters.
I think if you don’t have anything to do and you like LaJill go ahead and give it a go, but it’s not really a page turner.

This book is wonderful . I love me some Lisa she is the peace maker of the neighborhood. She see good in everyone .Well almost everyone ,her brother in law gets under her skin. Yolanda is a full mess once she came on the scene. This book show that money is not everything you still have life problems with money . Please get this book and enjoy the ride in the Private Property Neighborhood.

A good quick read. Nothing with LaJill Hunt is ever just that simple. I love how she set up the stage for all the characters in play just to leave you feeling like you just ran 5 miles and feeling thirsty only to think you're about to drink a bottle of water and it's just a spritz. Waiting for the sequel.

There were a lot of characters to keep track of. However I loved this book. Urban with a Christian spin. Can't wait for a sequel.
