New apartment, new job, and a smoking hot piece of man candy living next door.
Rock-hard abs and a chest of steel...
Only thing missing is his cape.
Best life ever!

Why god, WHY?
Couldn't I have figured out he was my boss before our Netflix and chill?

I try to break it off.
Laughable.
Dieting would be easier than staying away from Hotty McHotterson.
That demanding stare.
That panty-wetting smile.
I was screwed the moment he said, "Hey neighbor."

But what's the first thing you do when someone says, "Don't touch"?

Yeah, exactly...

If I had to describe meet cute this book is totally it, a really enjoyable read. I am voluntarily reviewing a copy of this book.

Emma is new to the city and hasn’t started her new job that her brother helped her get at Will’s firm and he warns her he’s trouble, yet when she meets Will,
their chemistry is combustible from the start and things go from zero to sixty pretty quickly, only when she turns up to start her new job she’s shocked to find her boss is none other than Will. Can she work with the man she shared and incredible night with and can she stop herself from wanting more of him? She knows she shouldn’t and this could cost her career but he’s so tempting!

Will never expected to want Emma I mean she’s his best friends sister but he’s drawn to her from the start and after drinks and an altercation he has the most amazing night with the one woman he shouldn’t want, especially as his ex is still around and causing him problems but how will he feel when Emma’s stalker ex turns up and can he really not see where their relationship can go?!?

Loads going on in this book and it’s a fast paced read which is highly entertaining. I am voluntarily reviewing a advanced copy of this book.

You'll enjoy Will and Emma's story. She's the sister of his best friend and her brother helped her get a job with the company. Will was the CEO but he was the co-founder along with his late ex-father in law. To complicate things his ex was on the board and loved causing him grief. They split up after he caught her cheating. Emma and Will get together for a night of passion before she realizes he's her new boss. Their chemistry is explosive but their relationship is taboo due to company policy. No shortage of drama or angst from his ex. Twists and turns to keep you guessing. The book was a good read that I enjoyed. I read a complimentary copy via a promotion and voluntarily chose to review it.

The writing was good, but it took me a while to warm up to Will in the slightest. I couldn't get over him not being honest with her about who he was one he found out that she would be working at his company. He sleeps with her anyway.

Then all the hot and cold crap.

It made me start to not like her. Why would you put up with someone treating you this way. I honestly can't see the progression of their love for one another, because they spent more time either with the hot/cold of Will's behavior, working, or having sex. There were not enough scenes of them spending time with one another for me to believe that it was love.

If I had seen him trying to figure out a way for them to be together no matter what instead of bowing down to Sarah and her lover, I may not have been such a skeptic.

Still, as I said at the beginning, the writing was good and kept me going, plus I was looking forward to seeing Sarah get whatever just deserts that were coming her way.

Oh wow, what a brilliant story of Will and Emma. From the beginning they have such chemistry and how she blushes...Love it. I know that feeling too well, used to blush a lot when I was younger. Anyway, if you want a love story, full of passion, chemistry, secrets, betrayals , just for starters, well this is it.
You will love the hero, love the heroine, hate the ex , want to thump the stalker and feel so many more emotions, you won’t be disappointed. It will totally grab your attention, like it did mine and literally couldn’t put it down. Brilliant

Emma and Will

I really enjoyed this story and am so happy that all the loose ends were tied up. Thanks for making it available on KU. JP

Neighbors in a highrise in NY on different floors, he's the penthouse and she's 3F. A trip and accidental tackle in the lobby on her move in day is the perfect way to meet. A drink at 2 different bars, some chatting and nachos leads to his penthouse bed. Yes there's an ex-wife, company drama, protective brotherly advice and she has a stalker that pops up but Emma and Will get their HEA.

Me Too Movement!

When I started reading this book, my mind was screaming Me Too! Will knew that he was the CEO of the company. Emma had no power or control in the relationship whatsoever. Emma was a spineless doormat. She had no spunk and a fear of losing her job, if anyone discovered that she and Will were dating. I thought that she would turn into a whiny wimp when William broke off the relationship in fear that he would get fired. William, the ex-wife, and the stalker former classmate bullied or tried to blackmail her during the majority of the book. I kept waiting on Emma to get a backbone, Emma kept waiting on Will to capitulate and admit to their relationship. All in all it was a maddening book, but it held my interest throughout.

Perfect meet cute.
Both Emma and Will are looking at their phones, yup collision with maximum effect.
Will is the CEO of the company he and his mentor and ex father in law built from the ground up. After his passing and making Will the CEO Wills marriage to his daughter failed with her cheating on him and if course she blamed him for always working. But she is on the board of the company and is a constant source of pain for Will.
So the meet cute, bump, smash, inhale. Phones clatter. Um she barely wearing clothes. So yup drinks? Then she meets up with her brother who got her a job at you guessed it Will company. But her brother warns her that Will is trouble but doesn't elaborate fully just he works at the company she will be starting and he has issues.
BIG UNDERSTATEMENT!!
So they meet for drinks, Emma still pondering over her brothers news, she lets Will know he works at her new job but Will skips the part where he is her BOSS? Will decides that isn't going to be an issue, well until it is. Emma is the kinds girl who can take care of herself but when Will steps away for a second some men get a little handsy and even though Emma had it under control Wills snapped. Oh well. Yup adrenaline induced sex.
So Emma sneaks out in the early morning hours to get to her new job. Yup didn't want to give the wrong impression or anything.
Work another story.
Turns out Will needs a personal assistant and who better for the job, yup Emma, now you see she still doesn't know he's the CEO. Until she does. Uhg . Then there is the ex. So they try to keep it professional, until it isn't. Paris oh Paris. His ex wants to merge the company with another firm, trim the fat, translation fire alot of people. Nope Will wants to expand internationally and he has a plan. But Paris proves to be a problem because yup they have to scratch that itch that has been building for weeks. So they decide to have a relationship, keep it secret from co workers, the ex, her brother and most importantly the board of directors. Um not a good idea. Then enters the CEO of the merging firm. Um not good, Emma's college stalker. Shes not happy Wills not happy because this is the dude his ex wife is in bed with literally. Um. So now they tell het brother about their relationship, not taken well, for several reasons. Emma ends up trying to convince Will to come clean with the board about their relationship but he is adamant big fat NO. UGH. First real fight. Work is tense but since they are both professional well until they're not. Emma starts to feel ill passes it off as working to hard and the emotional drama with Will. The the stalker and his ex make their move, threats, job offers and ultimatums. Neither budge. Until they do. Emma tired of hiding puts them in an awkward position. And Will does the dumbest thing possible. Oh boy. So now what you say? Read the book. It took 6 hours to read and i could not put it down. What did Will do? Is her stalker done stalking? What's his ex's angle? And does she have the flu?
This book has no cheating, friendship, loyalty, family, stalking, seduction, blackmail, remorse, forgiveness and lots and lots of sex with a twist in the HEA.

Emma and Will collide into each other because they were looking at their phones. Sparks fly between them and they make plans to have drinks later. Emma had learned from her brother that Will is the one that told him about the job opening where she now was about to start work. So while they were sharing drinks and some nachos they talk about her new job and what the company is like. Will doesn't want to ruin the night by telling her that he is the CEO at her new job because for the first time its nice to be treated normal. They end up back at his place and have an amazing night. However Emma leaves before he is up the next day so she can get ready for work. She never expected when she was introduced to the CEO for it to be Will but he has a job offer for her better than what she is already doing. He offers her a job being his assistant and learning more about the business than she would've working her way up. She agreed even though he warned her that if he felt like she wasn't handling the job he would fire her. They fought their attraction the first few days but it wasn't long before they gave in again. Will knew that with his ex trying to get the company from him that he couldn't let it come out about them. But will Emma continue to let their relationship be a secret? What will he do if it comes down to his job or Emma?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter and leave you wanting more at the end. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book for Bad Boy Update.

Aubrey Wright has released another example of her awesomeness with Boss With Benefits and it was an impressive book! Her unbelievable storyline is one that is easily envisioned, however, for me, it was the realistic characters that drew me right in. The sibling banter between Trent & his Sister, Emma, was written spectacularly. The relationship between the neighbor, CEO & Boss; William and his new hire, Emma, was truthfully a beautiful thing to read. There is something so 'organic' to the way Ms. Wright crafts her books and this was one I was addicted to. I do not want to give anything away & ruin it for you, but there was a line in this release that stuck with me... it spoke about how sometimes the right thing and the hardest thing often times being one & the same. Absolute Perfection.

Boss With Benefits is overall a fast paced masterpiece. Trent gives his Sister Emma, a tip, that helps secure her an apartment as well as a job in New York, as she is in need of a fresh/new start. What she finds in the City, is more than she ever bargained for, as well as all she needs. Will and Emma's journey is one worth reading. I am positive that fans, of exquisitely designed romance, will want to pick up a copy of this incredible book and follow it all the way through to the guaranteed happily ever after.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Boss With Benefits in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion & I couldn't recommend it more. Anything that Ms. Wright publishes is a must read.

Congratulations.

Emma & Will. Oh man. Emma is a young spunky and vibrant woman New to New York, and had just finished moving into her new apartment. Will is the handsome, headstrong, CEO of a big financial company that he helped start from the ground up. They literally bump into one another in the lobby of their shared apartment building. Will asks Emma out for drinks, and Emma accepts. She comes to find out they actually will be working together at Paradigm, unbeknownst to her, that he's the CEO & will be her boss. Well they end up hooking up and she ends up as his personal assistant. Sarah, Will's ex-wife, board member of Paradigm, and daughter of the other founder, Richard, has it out for Will, and now Emma, Sarah tries to blackmail Will out of his position as CEO. After the drama of everything that happens, the twists and turns from Emma's past, and the sabotage of Will's ex-wife, Will and Emma, do find their happily ever after, running Paradigm to it's grand success, and starting their life together. I don't want to give all the details, and spoil the book. This is another great book from Aubrey, and I highly suggest you read it! The characters have great chemistry, the supporting characters are well developed, the romance scenes are hot & steamy.

Yummy. There’s the short version review of Aubrey Wright’s latest book, Boss with Benefits. The “Hotty McHotterson” (gotta love that term), billionaire Will, and the fun and spunky heroine, Emma, have a totally fun and totally delicious romance from their “meet cute” (another wonderfully descriptive term) crashing into one another in the lobby of their apartment building, to their HEA. The fact that Will turns out to be her boss after a night of fun? Oops. Turns out ok though, of course. The key is just how well done the characters are, from Emma (who really is wonderfully strong) to Will (a good soul, complex and conflicted between desires and doing what’s “right”) to the strong cast (special mention to Emma’s really great brother and Will’s really horrible ex-wife). Add in a stalker and real boardroom intrigue. Clue in the well-done romance no matter how hard it’s resisted. Result? Total enjoyment. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.

“What we need to do is end this.” “Starting now.” And so, end it does. But what a story it is getting to this place where Will tells Emma that they must end their relationship that was so right for the two of them.
Will thinks in order to save his company that he helped build from the ground up he must sacrifice his love of Emma. He thinks he can not be involved with a subordinate. It would cause a scandal. The board of directors which includes his ex-wife (the witch), would never allow him to stay at the helm of the company.
Think he’s wrong? What about if the scandal deepens? The board of directors could not handle his affair after his divorce how would they handle a deeper scandal?
Or does his love for Emma override his fear of losing the company.
Aubrey Wright always has been a great storyteller. This book is no exception. The story line is more than engaging. The characters are very well written and well thought out. The book has everything a reader could ask for in a smash hit of a book; laughter, angst, suspense, an emotional ride and of course, HEA. I would easily give BOSS WITH BENEFITS a 7-star rating if I could.

This is probably my favorite book I have read by Aubrey Wright. From the meet-cute to the ending it was a very enjoyable read. Even though it is the typically forbidden romance trope, Aubrey Wright made it feel like more. Emma is a strong-willed go-getter. Will has a natural knack for being a leader. I enjoyed how at the beginning Emma knew she would work with Will, but not for him. It made her feelings for him seem more genuine. Will being able to let go outside of the office and be friendly but professional at work, made me feel like this could be a real-life story. They care for each other but still manage to keep it professional when it counts. They don’t allow their infatuation with each other to get in the way of real hard work. I think the reason the book was such a page-turner was that it was so believable. It just warmed my insides. It’s not all sweet-smelling roses, but conflict helps clear the fog away.
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is a great book where we will have the hero questioning what he actually wants from life

Emma and Will first meet when they crash into one another when they are both concentrating on their phones rather than where they are walking She makes an immediate impact on him and he invites her for a drink. Will is the CEO of a company that he and his father in law built together but after his divorce from his wife after she cheated on him she is determined to make his life hell in the boardroom. Emma has just got a new job with the help of her brother but he has warned her to stay away from the CEO has he is trouble Yep you guessed it It's Will. H e knows that he can't keep in seeing her after all she is his employee and his ex wife and the board won't stand for that so he will have to let her go that is what logic states but will he be able to let her go You will have to read to see if they go their separate ways or if they actually have a chance at a HEA

This was a sweet story. Perfect for an afternoon, s big picture window to sit in, and a cup of tea. From the meet-cute to the happy ending, this book really just made me smile. Emma and Will are attracted to each other from the beginning, but Will’s ex is a lurking shadow that they can’t get out from under. Enter a stalker from Emma’s past, and the drama in this one is a little crazy.

Does Will have to sacrifice his love for Emma to keep the company he created and put his life into? Will Emma’s past stalker threaten her into submitting to his will?

This was a good one. The writing was a little...juvenile (felt like there were a lot of extra words to fill the space, and a bit of repetition that kind of niggled at my brain, and who writes a sex scene with the sentence “But before we got down to it...” Use your big girl words!), hence only four stars. Good storyline, though. I liked this one.

A Steamy, Well-Written Romance.
This book checked off all the boxes for me when it comes to a well-written, highly entertaining romance. Multidimensional characters, well developed storyline, chapters that flowed smoothly...no large gaps in the space/time continuum. I thought there was an interesting use of a brother not often seen as he showed up periodically, but pivotal scenes. An all around my kind of a romantic, steamy, equaling strong leading characters with an intriguing plot.
As a result I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure.
I received this ARC from “Bad Boy Update” for my honest review so I’m leaving this for your consideration. Peace.

More than romance going on!
By sewsummore

When Will and Emma meet for the first time there is an attraction between them they cannot deny, the agree to meet later that night for a drink and before the night is over they are in bed together. She knew that sleeping with a coworker was not a good idea but she did not know that he was the CEO of the company and her immediate boss. They did their best to keep things business like during working hours but after hours all bets were off. There was a lot more than romance going on in this story, revenge, blackmail and conspiracy included before the story ends happily for these two lovers.
I received a free ARC copy of this book and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book.

Emma has a new apartment and a new job that she is excited about. Emma bumps into an amazing good looking man in the lobby of the apartment building. They agree to meet later for drinks. Will is smitten with Emma and welcomes her into his pent house for the night. Emma finds herself working for the company that Will owns. Emma and Will try to keep their hands off of each other and their relationship a secret. Will's ex-wife, Sarah, is on the prowl looking for anything to get the board of his company to remove him and put her as boss. How can Emma and Will have a relationship without jeopardizing the company and the love for each other? Loved this story! I saw the growth and honesty that weighed down Emma and Will to be a couple and work for the company.

A little office romance with some thrills...

The story opens with one of the funniest encounter I have read to date. Emma and Will start off on the right foot or so to speak. The story is filled with sweet and funny moments. It was a fun read. Furthermore, without going into details, the little complications thrown in along make you unable to put the book down. I am well hooked and can't stop reading.
I only gave this 4 stars because the jump towards happy ever after seems too quick for me. I do need closure , however, Will jumps into 'I love you' out of nowhere. Emma is facing one of the most difficult situations ever, and it is resolved like that on the next day.
That said (or written) Boss With Benefits is a must-read.

Excellent 4.5 star boss/employee romance. Emma is excited to start over and can’t wait to start work. She physically bumps into Will and realize they work for the same company. Will keeps his true identity hidden for their one night together. Talk about problems to try to overcome. A nasty ex that could care less about Wills business and a stalker who’s hooking up with her boss’s (Will) ex. The drama, intrigue make this story a borderline suspense. It’s a page turner & keeps your attention. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to future books by Ms. Wright.

An amazing entertaining office romance. This engaging intense storyline had me hooked from page one. I was addicted to the laughter, suspense, angst, love, scandal, blackmail, and passion in one heck of an emotional fantastic story. The characters are smart, interesting, well developed, had an instant attraction, and sizzling hot chemistry. I was addicted and am so thankful for this voluntarily read and reviewed copy from one of my favorite authors. I love the HEA with two epilogues that allowed this well thought out romance to be wrapped and completed with lots of fulfillment and a huge smile one my face patiently waiting for another story.

Can’t say I didn’t try

I read to the 38% point, before asking myself, ‘Am I enjoying this?’ No. Clearly not. Amateurish, juvenile writing. Over the top graphic sex scenes, interspersed with long periods of, Well, pretty much nothing.
Much too slow paced, it feels rather pointless. Then, suddenly, there’s another much-too-graphic sex scene, and right back into another long dry spell of not much.
Their on-again, off-again sex doesn’t come across as ‘romance’. It’s just sex, then nothing, then, more sex.
If that’s what you’re looking for, look no further. You’ve found it here. Otherwise, this is not a book I would recommend.
