My daughter and I are hooked on this series. As avid ramen fans we can feel the love for the wide variety of dishes the characters reference. Wonderful storyline, great art, and dish descriptions that will make your tummy hungry.

This is a hilarious story about a high schooler named Koizumi who loves ramen and her classmate who is just a litttle bit obsessed with Koizumi.
There is no real story, just lots of scenes of people eating ramen. I enjoyed learning about specific types of ramen. It really made me want to go back to Japan!

The protagonist is 100% stalking Ms Koizumi (def has a crush on her). Weird combo of mindless plot and interesting breakdown of ramen styles.

Better than the first volume!

The humor definitely landed a lot more in this volume, there are lots of very funny moments here. The ramen continues to make me hungry!

While I still don't think the cast of characters is anything fantastic, they do get better in this volume. This is just such a cozy and sweet manga it's hard not to read it and smile.

I hadn't thought of breakfast ramen, or of cold forms of ramen that were actually chilled by ice. These and many other varieties are part of the story in this second volume. I'm beginning to understand just how thoroughly the author researched her subject, with a lifetime of experiencing different ramen, but the translations, by an actual chef, are so clear and concise that, while not recipes for the most part, they could act as guides to creating fascinating bowls of ramen.
I'm still not sure which reason Ms. Koizumi has for not wanting to be friends with anyone, which is what seems to be the case here in this story. Apparently, Dark Horse has only translated one more volume, which I hope to read soon, but it would be nice if the later stories made their appearance here. One thing which works against this series is the price of the volumes, which seems high for such thin manga volumes. Still, the stories are enjoyable for the food, even if the running gags with Yun are a little over the top.

This was a pretty good volume, a lot of encyclopedic knowledge about different ramen from different countries that you can eat in all sorts of places in Japan including 7/11, which is a better convenience store then what we have here in Canada. I'm starting to like Ms Koizumi and her down to earth and withdrawn personality with her vast knowledge of the ramen world. Like Yu even I'm learning a lot from her, but Yu is starting to come off as a stalker, I mean she writes about Ms. Koizumi in her journal and her whereabouts.

This series in almost completely explained by the title. Ms. Koizumi goes around eating different kinds of ramen, while her school mates occasionally bump into or try to befriend her.

Its a simple, but fun model that grows a bit repetitive.

I love hearing about the different kinds of ramen, it never fails to make me hungry, but isn't a series I think you need to read a lot of volumes of.

The story continues with Ms. Koizumi's love for ramen 🍜 noodles. I felt vol. 2 was a bit repetitive. I never invisioned so many different types of ramen noodles 🍜 before. Who knew there are so many different kinds of ramen noodles 🍜. This volume explores the idea that Ms. Koizumi may have a boyfriend but all Ms. Koizumi has on her mind is savoring each bowl 🍜 of ramen noodles to her heart's content and eat as many ramen 🍜 noodle bowls as she can.

koizumi only wants food and not gonna lie this is the most relatable manga girl i have seen in a hot minute. but also knocking a star off from vol.1's 4-star moment because at this point in my manga binge i realized that there was no ramen spot open in the area at xmas eve (of course, no one should be at work at this time imo) and was getting very hungry

Another volume of well-drawn ramen surrounded by a growing cast of characters. Don’t read while hungry or you’ll go searching for a bowl. This volume introduces us to cold ramen and convenient store ramen among others. Yum!

This manga not only makes me want to eat ramen but I now want to learn how to make it at home properly.

Also, I’m only rating this manga 3.5 ⭐️ as there isn’t really a story to it, however it’s still a wonderful series that is teaching me so much about one of my favourite meals.

While it wasn't as...gratuitous as the first volume, it also eased back on any kind of character elaboration and semblance of plot beyond stalkering. It was fine. Some good info. I will likely read the next as I got it from my library, but I feel this could be more.

June 2022. Cute manga about a girl who loves ramen.

Really it’s for people that want to learn about all types of ramen, the characters are pretty much just talking about and eating ramen. A girl has a crush on the ramen girl but it’s not really GL because every single character is lured into a growing love of ramen and no other relational or character growth.

Got volumes 1-3 from Sac library. I don’t like ramen enough to hunt for more volumes but I know there’s an audience for it.

Membaca seri kedua, saya berkenalan dengan hiyashi ramen atau ramen dingin. Ramen ini biasanya dijual pada saat musim panas, disajikan lengkap dengan es batu. Benar, es batu. Jangan bayangkan ramen ini macam sup buah, loh. Ramen ini terbuat dari mi, aneka sayur dan toping, serta kuah kaldu. Spesialnya, disajikan dingin dan bahkan dengan ditambah es batu. Berani coba? :D
