“I’ve heard that boys with motorcycles have less-than-noble intentions.”
“Not a boy,” Beck said. “And you heard right.”

Luna da Rosa is America’s Vegan Best Friend. The self-made billionaire is a flower-crowned hippie whose Instagram feed is as popular as Wild Heart - her vegan makeup company. When she’s not changing the cosmetics industry, she’s dazzling her online fans with kombucha recipes. Until Wild Heart is caught in a scandal – destroying her reputation as a cheerful do-gooder.

Beck Mason is the prodigal son of Miami’s most notorious biker gang. But Beck left his criminal family to start Lucky Dog, rescuing dogs who need the most help. Except the surly ex-outlaw never realized leading a struggling nonprofit with a ragtag crew would be so damn hard. They’re in dire need of cash – and fast.

Luna believes working at Lucky Dog will fix her image problem and get Beck the money he needs. It’s a win-win, right? Except Beck doesn’t like the sunny, free-spirited…okay beautiful…billionaire. He sure as hell doesn’t trust Luna not to use him just to make herself look good.

Sure – Beck’s grumpy, stubborn pride and meat-eating ways irritate Luna. Even though Beck’s big-heart-and-big-beard-combo is dangerously sexy. And they really shouldn’t have shared The Kiss to End All Kisses on the back of his motorcycle one night…

But as the bohemian billionaire and the burly biker give into their electrifying attraction – will their differences keep them apart? Or will they finally learn to trust their wild hearts?

Author’s Note: Big, grumpy, bearded hero. Happy-go-lucky, hippie heroine. Snarky banter. Opposites that don’t so much attract as combust. Motorcycle sex. Steamy Miami nights. Four lady billionaire best friends. All the rescue dogs. Major heart-feels.

Overall Opinion: Stupid expectations. I was stoked when I saw this book as one of Ms. Nolan’s that I hadn’t read yet. I really enjoyed Strictly Professional and Not the Marrying Kind, so I built up my expectations for this one. While I liked the overall premise and characters, it fell a little flat for me. I loved the build up into a relationship, but once they got together it lost me a little. Not the sexual chemistry ~ that was fine! This author likes her motorcycle first kisses for sure 🥵. I was, however, really disappointed in the separation, the lackluster resolution, and the ending. Don’t get me wrong! I didn’t hate it or anything. I just didn’t enjoy this as much as the other two books that I’ve read from her. She still has a fan in me!

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Luna and Beck’s story. Luna finds out that one of her manufacturers for her makeup line was testing on animals which goes against all of her public values and her reputation is in big trouble. Her mentor suggests going back to her roots of philanthropic work and further suggests working with Beck’s non profit that rehabilitates dogs. Beck was introduced to dog rehabilitation during his last stint in juvie, and he knew that he found his calling. He left his family’s infamous motorcycle gang and started his own non-profit along with his best friend. There is some bumping heads, some big life changes, and some sexy times…and they get a HFN ending.

Point Of View (POV): This alternated between Luna and Beck’s POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Good until the abrupt ending (see below). I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well otherwise.

Instalove:No, they take a while to develop stronger feelings.

H (Hero) rating: 3.5 stars. Beck. I liked him, but he was a bit of a contradiction for me. He was almost beta in his insecurities, but then would be a dirty talker alpha with the sex scenes.

h (heroine) rating: 4 stars. Luna. I liked her. I appreciated her strength and how she stuck to her word and values.

Sadness level: Low, no tissues needed

Push/Pull: Yes

Heat level: Good. They have some good tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story. Slow burn (but I thought it was done well so I didn’t really notice it). They aren’t fully intimate until ~74% in my kindle app.

Descriptive sex: Yes

OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) drama: No

Sex scene with OW or OM: No

Cheating: No

Separation: Yes

Possible Triggers: Yes

Closure: This ends with an abrupt HFN ending and an option to download an extended epilogue with subscription to the author’s newsletter. I hate this tactic tbh. I still downloaded it anyways because I wanted much, much more closure for this couple. Sadly, it was just basically a sex scene and no more actual closure for me.

Safety: This one should be Safe for most safety gang readers

The greedy hippie meets the doubting biker…

Full disclosure…I don’t wear makeup besides lipstick, prefer to look at animals than touch them, and I should care more about how a product is made and produced. All the cool kids wear makeup, but it makes my skin and eyes itch. I’m allergic to cats and I just don’t know what to do with dogs as I’m not overly fond of touching them. When it comes to products I buy, I’m not always thinking about how it was made, what was sacrificed to make it, and if someone/some animal suffered to get it to the store. I know I should care more, but more times than not, I’m thinking about efficiency, budget, and the needs and wants of my family.

So, I started this story feeling uncool, guilty, uninformed and a little left out. Wild Open Hearts was always going to be the tough one for me to love in the Bluewater Billionaires series. I couldn’t work out how a free-spirited, earth-loving, animal-lover could have billions of dollars. When I met Luna, it just seemed she went against everything she stood for. Yes, we see growth and change by the end but unfortunately, I couldn’t forget that this “hippie” ended up just being greedy.

The biggest problem with Wild Open Hearts was that I didn’t love the hero. I NEED TO LOVE THE HERO!! Beck was weak and not at all the big, growly biker I was hoping for. In real life, I probably wouldn’t think Beck was bad or weak, but in romancelandia, he was a huge letdown. I need my heroes to do the chasing not the other way around. I need my hero to be confident and not let his doubts and shortcomings guide his decisions. I need him to be in control, work hard for what he wants and not settle for less.

I’m probably being a wee bit too harsh, but I couldn’t relate to the characters. Luna seemed oblivious to what was going on around her and based her self-worth on how many likes she received on social media. Beck was the Executive Director and it seemed to me, everyone who worked at Lucky Dogs would have been better for the job. It just didn’t make any sense whatsoever. I just didn’t get how Luna was so successful and why Beck was doing something that didn’t suit his personality.

I’ve been a fan of this series, but I had a feeling before I started that Luna’s story wasn’t going to work for me. It wasn’t all bad though. I loved catching up with Emily, Cameron and Daisy. The sexy times were HOT!!! I really loved seeing the relationship between Beck’s co-workers, Wes and Jem develop on the sidelines. The shelter and how the dogs are rehabilitated was interesting and it made me wonder what facilities we have in Australia. I wanted to taste some of the vegan treats and dishes Luna talked about. Not saying I want to give up bacon, but I’m more inclined to try more vegan/vegetarian dishes in the future.

Wild Open Hearts wasn’t all bad but it wasn’t all good either. I think if I could have related to the main characters more, it would have been better. Don’t judge by my review alone, check out what others think and you may find that Wild Open Hearts is perfect for you.

When Kathryn Nolan writes a book she puts her whole heart on full display. From the moment you open the first page you are invested. You are hooked, lined and sinkered. There’s so much goodness and truth in this story. It makes it hard to know where to start to write a cohesive and encompassing review that makes sense so I don’t ramble. Forgive me if I do.
Wild Open Hearts is exactly what the title suggests. It’s a story that bares open every aspect of two individual’s lives for the whole world to see. There’s nothing that can be hidden, even if they would like it to be. Luna and Beck are both on a journey publicly, professionally and personally. Both are trying to figure out the best course for every area of their lives. Meanwhile, each one is questioning their own values, motives, life and truth. Each one trying to decide if they’re worthy.
Of all the aspects of this book one of my favorites is the truth of this story. What do we really see when we look at someone? Do we believe what we read? Do we have the ability to see beyond what’s in front of us? Do people deserve a second chance? Can people change? Do we really ever change? Can we get beyond our own insecurities? Are we willing to go out on the proverbial limb to do what’s right no matter the consequence? These are just some of the questions brought to light in this beautiful book. Aside from all this another question came into my mind. What is romance? Romance is individual and can come at you in all different forms. To me romance is when someone does something that makes someone feel special, comfortable, tingly, wild. It can be anything that someone does for you that you can’t help but feel that feeling. It doesn’t have to be flowers, romantic dinner, or a sunset cruise. It can be a special beer you like, going to a place you wouldn’t normally go but you do because it’ll mean something. Romance is whatever it means to you.
I can’t speak enough about the beautiful way this author writes. Her words always bring a smile to my face, speak to my heart and make me think. One of my highlighted areas in the book,
“Extraordinary women generally make the choice that’s right and not always the choice that’s safe”.
This quote speaks to the integrity of the story.
As if all this weren’t enough, the secondary characters are fabulous as well as hearing from people from past stories. Within this book you’ll get all the feels you’re hoping for and so much more. The motorcycle scene is worth the read alone! I promise your motor will be revved. Not going any further your need to read this book. I’ve rambled much too long.
Kathryn has served up her heart out on a plate for you to enjoy. I would suggest you dive in, ingest and savor every moment of this beautiful story.

P.S. - Please don’t stop at the end of the story. Read the author’s note. It says so much!

Spoilers ahead, 2.5*

Luna is the hippie chick billionaire of the group, she made a decision to partner with a company that she believed was against animal testing and her company and personal image is trashed as news emerges that not only does the company do animal testing but that Luna was the one to sign of on the deal without doing due diligence.Luna had made a personal promise that her company's products were free from animal testing and cruelty so her company is massively affected by her seeming deception. To improve her public image and regain the public's trust Luna goes to Lucky Dog, a non profit organization to assist them in fund raising in exchange for her posting pictures and videos of her volunteer work to her social media

Beck Mason is the CEO of Lucky Dogs, as the son of violent mc heads and an ex con himself Beck is determined to stay out of the limelight but with his organization on the brink of ruin Beck reluctantly agrees to work with Luna in a mutually beneficial agreement.

*********
Random thoughts

1) It surprised me that Luna made her initial decision to partner with the company based on money, maybe because she's a hippie and was portrayed as a type of comforting/nurturing earth mother in the previous books but I expected Luna to be completely different. In the latter half of the book she made some changes and had a lot of growth and was transformed into the chick I originally expected

2)Beck is the CEO of a non profit but is so filled with pride that he actually turned Luna down at first, listening to him talk about not wanting to be used and how much pride he had mafe me want to smack him. To me his cause should have been bigger than his pride, he was the worst CEO I've ever read and Elian, Wes or even Jem would've been much better suited to running the organization

3) I've got mixed feelings on Beck. I confess to liking the Alpha male/one step up from caveman type of H so Beck was a little tough for me. He was stubborn and insecure in his budding relationship with Luna and the separation was actually caused by his mother who m he hadn't spoken to in years making him feel he wasn't good enough for Luna. He's forty years old and at just a few words from his mother he broke up with Luna.....I was irritated with him tbh

4)This was more of a slow burn in the romance department, the troubles of Luna's company took up quite a bit of page space with their relationship only developing in the latter half of the book

5) When I saw Beck was a big bearded biker I got excited, as with my expectations of a hippie I expect certain behavior from a biker and this wasn't it.For one Beck wasn't a possessive growly badass....Luna was the one who did the pursuing while Beck got up in his feelings trying to come to terms with the fact that Luna had so much money. Ugh the only times I liked Beck was because of his work with the dogs and during sexy times. Even after the separation Luna went back to Beck making the grand gesture when he had been the one to break up with her! Ugh

6) Another instance of someone manipulating the supposedly smart mc, in this case Luna needed to fire her pr lady from the beginning but their eventual confrontation was one of my favorite parts #loveandlight

7)What is up with the conflict/separation at 90% of the book? Why is this a thing? I like when the couple actually get together that any conflict come from outside the actual relationship especially in slow burn romances where they already took forever to get together . There shouldn't be a separation at 90% with a rush to makeup and declare love at the end

8) So much emphasis was placed on Beck's badass parents and the morally corrupt mc that I expected a confrontation and for Beck to be a bacass but aside from some drive bys and a small confrontation with his mother the mc line was dropped....like huh? It and his past role there was the cause of so much of Beck's insecurity and that's it?? A random confrontation and they disappeared?? Huh

This was my first read by this author and while I can't say I loved it I didn't hate it either. It was an interesting and different enough read but maybe just not quite my cuppa

Beautifully nuanced!
Kathryn Nolan has such a delicate way with words, every book she’s written has been poetically beautiful and Wild Open Hearts is no different.
Luna Da Rosa is the CEO of a billion-dollar makeup empire, she’s also a flower crown wearing vegan Instagram princess. But somewhere along the line she’s lost her authenticity, and when her company and reputation crumbles around her, Luna teams up with former bad boy biker Beck Mason at his dog rescue. Thinking she’s going to twirl in, take a few photos for her millions of Instagram followers cleaning dog pens and then twirl out again, Luna discovers a few things along the way about herself and about the grumpy Beck. Things are not always what they appear, with the dogs, with the rescue, and especially between Beck and Luna. Roads are rocky, kisses are sweet, sex is dirty, opinions can be changed, and appearances are deceiving when wild hearts are open.

THE BEST READ OF 2019!!!!
Favorite Quotes:
"You're my happy place, Beck Mason" -Luna
"Thank you for showing me love." - Beck

Luna can put on a happy face like no other. She is facing a business catastrophe and its seems as if the world is against her, yet she still manages to smile and seek out the good in the world. In an attempt to repair her reputation and get back to her roots, she decides to volunteer at Lucky Dog. There she meets Beck Mason, and he is the polar opposite of Luna in most ways. The two find themselves at an impasse several times throughout the story and each time their desire for one another grows. Warning! This story may just melt your kindle.

Beck had a rough upbringing and less than stellar reputation. He is prideful and refuses to be pitied or used. There are not many people in the world that Beck opens up to or trusts, but there is something about Luna that calls to him, and he finds himself admitting things he rarely speaks about. As they get closer Beck struggles with feeling comfortable in Luna's world, but Luna repeatedly surprises Beck with her wild open heart.

Aside from the amazing love story, Nolan set my soul on fire with the inner growth Luna and Beck both experienced. She also had me in tears over the rescue dogs. I have never been more compelled to try and make a change in the life of abandon dogs. *Make sure to check out the links after the story for information on real programs like the one Beck runs and ways to donate.*

Nolan packs a punch with the use of beautiful, poetic descriptors. She has this way of describing things that make them seem tangible. She puts you in the story, allows you to experience the story in a way that is so different from other authors. There are cameos from other characters Nolan has written and of course Emily, Cameron, and Daisy are ever-present in this magnificent read. I cannot say enough good things about this book. I love it!

“Our time on this earth is too precious not to live with our hearts wide open.”
Another swoon worthy installment in the Bluewater Billionaires series!
Wild Open Hearts is book 3 in the series but can be absolutely read as a standalone.
Luna da Rosa is a self-made billionaire, the face of her cosmetics company, Instagram influencer and and avid proponent of cruelty free products and vegan lifestyle.
Her company and personal brand are threatened when unethical business practices of one her suppliers are made public and everyone turns against her.
Enter Beck Mason, a gentle giant, who is the executive director of Lucky Dog, a struggling non-profit, that takes in abused and neglected dogs and retrains them to be paired with their new owners.
Luna is in desperate need of community involvement to repair her reputation, and Lucky Dog needs funding or it’s doors will have to close forever.
Beck reluctantly agrees to allow Luna to support Lucky Dog in a mutually beneficial partnership.
As Luna works tirelessly on cleaning up the perceived public image, she gets more and more in touch with her core values and realizes an adjusted direction is needed.
Plagued with self-doubt regarding his past, relevance and a birthright he defected from over 20 years ago, Beck struggles to allow himself to succeed - personally as well as professionally.
Sparks fly as Beck and Luna work together, the question is, will they be able to reconcile their differences, escape the haunting past and live their HEA?
If you like your romance witty and swooney with a side of steam, you will want to pick us this book ASAP!

I have been waiting for this one since the series announcement! My internal hippie needed to read everything about Luna. I absolutely LOVED this book!

Luna is exactly who I wanted her to be in my mind and Beck is her perfect counterpart.

Scandal, a billionaire hippie, a gentle giant biker, dogs, romance and the heat we always get from Kathryn Nolan - I couldn’t have asked for anything else from this story.

Each Bluewater Billionaire book has been just perfect. I love these characters, these authors, and this new world! I cannot wait for the fourth book in the series!

I literally couldn’t put it down - dinner table, bed, etc... Once I started I had to finish! Grab this one up and start reading!!!

#2 The Mogul and the Muscle ★★★
#3 Wild Open Hearts ★★ 3/4
#4 Crazy For Loving You ★★★ 3/4
"Luna was my magic, my transformation. If any woman was my alchemy, it was the rainbow billionaire, shining on my lap like the rays of the sun."

— I had so high expectations for this series after reading The Price of Scandal! I mean four female billionaires who live next to each other and are best friends? I was waiting for a series like this to drop. But each book plot is recycle from the first book. Some scandal and they have to fix it. While I loved it in the Price of Scandal, I felt myself getting bored in this one.

— The sunshine and grumpy trope usually does it for me. Not this time. I couldn't really connect to either Luna nor Beck. I liked that this book had more 'depth' than The Mogul and the Muscle. We got more background on Luna & Beck's background and their family and why they are the way they are. That was lacking in the previous book in my opinion.

— Emily Stanton, Cameron Whitbury, Daisy Kincaid and Luna da Rosa's friendship is still the best thing that came out of this series. I love how supportive they are of each other. They always have wine ready for every occasions. The friendships between Beck, Jem, Wes and Elián are pretty cute too.

— I'm giving half a star for the extended epilogue. How everyone came around to meddle. I just have to stan! My favourite type of scenes when everyone is together :D

Wild Open Hearts is a beautiful story of two souls who are complete opposites in every sense of the word - but two people who needed each other in ways they never expected and found love in the process.

Luna and Beck truly take the readers on quite the journey through this story. Both of them have made some mistakes in the past, but are getting the second chance they truly deserve. They are showing the world that one wrong does not make a person bad - it's what we choose to do to right those wrongs that shows the true character of a person.

It's a slow-burn between Beck and Luna, but it works so perfectly with the story. It wouldn't have worked the same had they rushed into anything. With all the personal issues they each needed to work through, they needed to take their time to come around to the idea of being with each other. And once they did - those sparks flew!

Enjoyed seeing the connections with this story to previous works from the author, as well as continuing to see the amazing friendship amongst the Bluewater ladies. Love how no matter what's going on in their lives, if one of them is in need, they will always be there to support them.

I am loving every installment in the Bluewater Billionaire series, including the third book, Wild Open Hearts. Luna is flower-child, vegan, billionaire, Instagram star and CEO of Wild Heart cosmetics. When scandal knocks on her door and threatens everything, she turns to charity work to rehab her image and meets the grumpy, sexy Beck where she volunteers. He grew up in a notorious biker gang but cut ties years ago and is now trying to lead and grow a nonprofit that rescues dogs. He doesn’t trust Luna and is not happy with her involvement, but he cannot deny he’s seriously attracted to her. These opposites are so entertaining as they dance around one another and slowly find they have more in common than they could ever imagine. Wild Open Hearts is a five-star read — charming, witty, delightful and romantic.

Luna and Beck. Swoon, swoon, swoon. Add in a bunch of adorable dogs, the rest of the lady billionaires and some very steamy motorcycle scenes and this book is pure romantic comedy gold.

Luna and Beck meet under less than stellar circumstances. She desperately needs to repair her reputation. He desperately needs some money and good will for his faltering nonprofit dog rescue. They become friends and a lot more.

I loved both of these characters so, so much. Opposites attract and the chemistry is off the charts as a motorcycle hottie with a HUGE heart and a free spirited hippie coming to terms with her life tangle together. A fantastic addition to this series and definitely a must read.

I am starting to enjoy rich woman/reformed "bad boys" stories and the cameos from certain Nolan characters were DELIGHTFUL ✨

Haven't read the rest of the series but now I am tempted to check out the books!!

(The 'self-made' billionaire concept needs to die, though. It's capitalist BS.)

You know how you read some books and they just make you smile - this book is one of those! I felt all kinds of warm and fuzzy!

Kathryn is a one click author for me and stories like this are why. Luna and Beck's story is not your average romance. It touches on some tough subjects but does it in a way that makes it feel real, rather than a lecture.

I loved their banter, the witty dialogue and the chemistry in this one was delicious. Add in fantastic supporting characters and you've got a really rich read. I definitely need to check out the other Bluewater Billionaires stories too.

I received an arc of this book.

ALL THE HEART EYES!!! I loved this book so much! I've only read one novella from this author before, and now I'm putting ALL THE THINGS on my TBR pile. This book was magic.

Luna da Rosa is a self-made billionaire, living in Miami. She is the owner, and the face, of one of the most successful makeup companies in the world, and they pride themselves on their cruelty-free, vegan products. But when the worst possible news breaks, and causes a major scandal for her, and her company, she's not sure what she's going to do. When it causes her to do further introspection into herself and her beliefs, she doesn't like what she sees. So, in an effort to get back in line with herself, she decides to volunteer her time, and money, for a local non-profit.

Beck Mason is the owner and executive director of a nonprofit dog rescue, Lucky Dog. But, he comes from a criminal family, and his parents still run the local motorcycle gang. After serving time in juvie 20 years ago, he decided to change his life. He walked away from his family, and never looked back. But, his business is struggling, after losing some grant money, and he's not sure how they're going to get back on track. When Luna shows up as the benevolent benefactor, he's not thrilled. His pride doesn't like to take money from people he feels are using him, and Luna's image is in a tailspin right now. Can he trust her to provide help, and funds, without trying to use the whole thing only to rehab her image?

Beck and Luna had chemistry like whoa, and I loved watching them dance around each other, and bicker at each other, until things exploded between them. Beck was a big, gruff, teddy bear, and Luna was like a flower child, vegan princess. They were such an opposites attract story, and being married to my own opposite, I adored watching all the ways they discovered they fit together. And how surprised they were every time they found another one.

The vagillionaires were just as amazing as they've been in the two prior books. I adore the amazing friendship between these 4 brilliant, amazing, successful women. They are true friends, who are always there for each other, no matter what problems come their way. Their brunches are epic, and I love how they eavesdrop on the romance authors the next booth over. It's like a little bit of a wink at the reader and it's great fun. Also, the employees, aka Beck's chosen family, at Lucky Dog were awesome as well. They all had their special place in the operation, and they really functioned like a family business.

This book had so many feels, and had me in tears a couple times, even though I would still definitely classify it as a romcom. I really fell in love with Beck, and Luna, and all the amazing pups at Lucky Dog. This story was a total delight, and I can't wait for the final book in this multi-author series!

Oh My Heart! I loved EVERYTHING about this! Luna and Beck were pure FIRE!

"His gaze informed me I was now playing with fire. Which was fine by me. I was a child of the earth, a worshiper of the natural elements. Fire didn't scare me. Fire intrigued me."

This is the third book in the Bluewater Billionaires series. While it can certainly be read as a stand alone, reading all of them enhances the story. In Wild Open Hearts Luna faces a travesty of lies that impacts her cosmetics company and forces her to re-evaluate values. In order to shine a positive light on Luna, it's recommended she volunteer at Lucky Dog, a rescue non-profit on it's last leg. Beck Mason is a bearded mountain of a man who hides from his past while creating a haven for rescue pups. At first you think these two are opposites and then as you learn their hearts you understand how well they match. I loved Beck's first impressions of Luna, a rainbow billionaire floating around in flower crowns drinking kombucha. And to her, Mr. Mason is this grumpy hulk biker that grunts his way through a conversation. The elusive dance they do only creates an even more dramatic and sensual culmination. That first KISS!!

Between the lines of this love story lies such an significant message of values and self worth.
"When we do good in this world, it doesn't matter how small we believe it to be. Kindness ripples, has an impact long after our connection is finished."

The connections created in Wild Open Heart were beautiful. We see numerous ones - the Bluewater billionaires' Emily, Cameron, Daisy and Luna, the family Beck creates at Lucky Dog with Elian, Wes and Jem, and the matches with the rescue pups. I couldn't put this book down and in the end didn't want it to end. So many feels!! Kathryn Nolan has such a lyrical way of writing, she pulls you in to this vibrant place and you won't want to leave.

Bluewater Billionaires are BACK! The third book in the beautiful installment by four amazing writers is written by none other than Kathryn Nolan.

Truth time – this is my FIRST Kathryn Nolan book and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Y’all, the moment I finished this book, I legit went and found EVERYTHING written by her and put it on my TBR because she hooked me in!

Now to the book. Luna is the beautiful billionaire at the heart of this book and man, she is everything! I love her beautiful open heart, her quirkiness speaks to my soul. I could never be a vegan, but man, if I could be, I’d totally be hitting up Luna for ALL THE SECRETS! Luna’s world gets rocked by a scandal that has her questioning who she is. And man, does it really suck you in and have you feeling all the feels for Luna.

Enter Beck. Growly, muscly Beck. This motorcycle riding, dirty talking, animal loving man. Oh how he melted my heart once his layers were peeled back. Luna is his complete opposite and their banter had me laughing! I love the way she could put this big guy in his place! And the slow burn of this romance literally melted me into a puddle.

Beck’s past isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, much unlike Luna – who is the personification of sunshine and rainbows. Bringing them together was like finding the rainbow at the end of a storm, it was everything. From the private beach to the bedroom, these two can make the fiercest of storms look like a drizzle. They literally SET THE WORLD ON FIRE!

I can’t say enough about Wild Open Hearts! Luna and Beck are right there at the top of my favorite couples list (sorry Cameron, but you’ve been dethroned). If you haven’t read the series, start with Emily in The Price of Scandal by Lucy Score, move on to The Mogul and The Muscle by Claire Kingsley. And then get your heart ready for this one! And don’t forget, a fourth book written by the amazing Pippa Grant will be coming soon!

Wild Open Hearts
Bluewater Billionaires
By: Kathryn Nolan

*REVIEW* 💋💋💋💋
Wild Open Hearts is another great Bluewater Billionaires story. The heroine, Luna, is a carefree hippie with a kind loving heart that led her to create a cruelty free cosmetics empire. Luna is also a beacon of goodness to her massive Instagram following-until a scandal completely shatters the image Luna has worked so tirelessly to cultivate. Regardless of what Luna did or did not do, we all know how quickly a tiny sliver of scandal in the social media sphere can raze a lifetime of achievement to the ground. Luna decides to volunteer at a rescue dog shelter for damage control and image repair. The shelter is run by Beck, a former MC biker, who is big, burly and suspicious of Luna's motives. As it happens, this nonprofit shelter needs funding, and Luna certainly has no shortage of funds. Perhaps Beck and Luna can help each other in this predicament? Going forth, with a bit of sexy motorcycle action and some laughs, Luna and Beck realize some hard truths about themselves. I love how the author weaves a solid entertaining narrative with some important life lessons seamlessly. Luna is the kind of women I would hang out with because I am a bit hippie, too. Her ambition and perseverance are inspiring. Beck is a man after my own heart, and I adore him. He is just a really good guy. Together, these two are dynamite, and the story sparks. I loved reading about Luna and Beck. Whether you call it romcom, chick lit or something else entirely, this is a fantastic story not to be missed!

I have no idea how to start this review. Honestly, I had to wait a full 24 hours before writing because I had to ponder, plus my heart misses Luna and Beck’s hearts. Really, I miss these two crazy kids.

There is so much to love about this story! Luna is a self made billionaire and she is CEO and the face of her cruelty free make up company. You all, she’s quite an oxymoron! When I tell you she’s a child of the earth, this rings true, if I told you she’s gone off her true path, I would also say it’s the truth.

Beck is our motorcycle riding, burly, bearded Hero, he was never really on a true path in the sense that his environment played a role in his own mistakes. But, Beck was lucky and able to reform his ways before there were serious repercussions. What happened in his youth was unfortunate, but serendipities at the same time because an experience opened his eyes to his life’s work.

What we have here is a story of two imperfect people who have made mistakes along the way, but there is redemption, there is always time to start over, and that’s beautiful and amazing as this story proves. The fact these two are just so in love from the start is the best thing about this novel. I love their love! It’s beautiful, spontaneous, dirty and fun! They are a firecracker on the 4th of July.

I can’t say much else except I really love this novel and the Easter Eggs there in! If you haven’t read this author before you’re in for a lovely read!

Grab this one! I’d like to give it a Billion stars!

About two years ago, I read a book called Bohemian by a fairly new author named Kathryn Nolan and became an instant fan. I haven't read everything she's written, because life, but I've pretty much loved everything I've read, so when I say this, know that it's BIG.

I haven't had a Kathryn Nolan book make me feel this way since Bohemian.
(If you haven't read Bohemian, you need to get on that, like, now. You're welcome.)
And this book made me FEEL.

In Wild Open Hearts, we have a man (Beck) who is desperately trying to separate himself from his past and a woman (Luna) who is tirelessly working to return to her roots. The author took these two and fitted them together flawlessly and then surrounded them with amazing friends that are really family who loved them unconditionally.

Add to that, some great comedic moments, ~ Daisy Carter-Kincaid: "Who do we need to stab for you today?" all the heat that we expect from a KN book (hellooooo, first kiss!) and a shelter full of adorable rescue dogs (that had me tearing up right from the start) and this one just ticked all my boxes.

I LOVE these characters. I LOVE this story. I LOVE that the author has incorporated a passion that we share (dog rescue.) I just loved it from beginning to end. I wanted to climb inside of this book and live there.

That's all you're getting from me. READ THE BOOK. Experience it. And you'll see.

Holy hotcakes!!

Oh my gosh, this book is all the best things about Kathryn Nolan's writing.. a venture into a topic of the world you are likely unfamiliar with, and intriguing characters. Not just the main couple, who are definitely the whole enemies who have little in common - but that one vital thing they love in their own way. But also secondary characters, who are anything but two dimensional, with interesting pasts and quirky characters.

You are going to love this story - it has a beautiful and strong journey from wrongs to rights. Of seeing stereotypes and taking the time to see the person and their truth behind it. Of finding the one to look beyond the persona we show the world, and embracing the person underneath, flaws and all. And it's a Kathryn Nolan book, full of deep vulnerable emotion, laughter, love and sizzling tension bursting into heat!

I LOVED THIS SO HARD! Ms. Nolan is my go to author for real honest romance. This story was perfect all the way around. Luna and Beck are just so flawed but fit each other so well. Their hearts are a match from the beginning they just needed to come around to the idea. They both are free spirits, both repressed by different things they need to get past so they can be happy together. I so loved the background story of this too, especially Lucky Dog! And the peek we get of two of this author's previous couples from other books. Not to mention the comedy of the rest of the Bluewater Billionaires. The heat between them too, loved their organic chemistry! I find myself wanting to live in every world this author creates. Just hands down loved this book on every conceivable level!

Wild Open Hearts was so, so good! My heart exploded!

It was such an emotional journey of two opposites finding the way to their HEA, with so many real life issues, life choices and serious friendship goals along the way. Beck is such a gentle giant with his growly outside, sweet smushy center and gigantic heart. Luna's glowing joy and incredible values were the perfect puzzle piece needed in Beck's life. My heart squeezed for all of the dogs at Lucky Dog and the cameos of previous characters were perfect and made my heart so happy!

This book had humor, heart and plenty of delicious sexual tension. Go read it now, you won't regret it!!

Kathryn Nolan's newest book is in my top ten for 2019!

Luna's bright positivity is the perfect foil for Beck's poor self-worth and occasional angry outbursts.

The back and forth banter is a ton of fun, especially when he hams it up as her bodyguard. The fun, sexy times are out of this world, trust me one specific scene is scorching HOT!

Wild Open Hearts is an amazing book, that reads a lot like Kathryn Nolan herself. Funny, sexy, and uplifting when needed!

DNF @ 45%

I'm really not feeling this. Luna isn't the most likable of characters and Beck comes off as flat most of the time. And there isn't any of the humor and banter from the previous novels. It's not working for me.
