*sighs* The premise is so good, I can't give this a bad rating, not in good faith. But I'm soooo tired of Humphries writing/killing off Harley's lesbian relationships in order to write in literally any white male he can think of. Don't get me wrong, I like Booster. He's pitiful but he's kind. He'd be a good sidekick for Harley, I guess, better than Red Tool anyway. It just doesn't make sense for them to be a thing, and it's totally were this is headed, like it's not even fun how predictable Humphries' writing is. He'd rather have Booster be Harley's moral support and new boo, have him help her work through all that Sanctuary crappy trauma, rather than let her be happy with Pam (who is right there to work through the Heroes in Crisis trauma and talk about grieving and loosing your sense of self, I mean come on). And even if he really doesn't want Ivy, why write in a POC single-mom who welcomes Harley in her life with open arms just to kill her off and add even more trauma to Harley's growing pile? This is a whole new level of women in the fridge crap.

Anyway. I like the idea of Harley thinking this is how to deal with her emotional bagage for a while. It's what she does best (roller derby, fighting gods and ultimate villains, bringing mayhem to all the holidays). But DC really need to get their shit together and give the series to a writer who loves Harley as she is now, not as she used to be in the 90's.

Harley in Los Angeles I was kinda expecting maybe a little more? Nevertheless Harley is true to form and living with her new wrestling partner who is a mother to a teenage girl who are struggling financially. I’m not going to give up the climax but I kinda saw it coming and with that being said we’re back in a stereotypical Harley story

I guess this kinda spoils Heroes in Crisis, which I haven't read yet?
