*coughs* I'm not even sure how to review this . . . I felt no connection whatsoever with the characters, and both the suspense and the romance were very rushed and unrealistic. There were also several procedural inaccuracies in the way the police and fire departments handled things. I'm honestly a bit surprised Jordan wasn't fired for some of the decisions he made in handling the case.

All in all, this book wasn't my cup of tea for several reasons, but that's just my opinion. Check it and decide for yourself. :)

I really liked this one. My only complain is that it was a little too fast paced. But still, loved it. Jordan was trying so hard to resist Cassidy but in the end he couldn't. Cassidy was really bad*ss, I loved her, she was in a field dominated by man but didn't let that deter her. The whole suspense was good too and they were total sweethearts

Fire Dreams: A Christian Suspense and Romance is an awesome beginning to a new series from Lorana Hoopes, one of my favorite authors. Jordan is a dedicated detective with no personal life who is frantically searching for three abducted children. Cassidy is a firefighter who is just back from appearing on a reality TV show. She returns to a sack of fan mail that includes some disturbing letters from a stalker. Jordan does not appreciate being sent to protect Cassidy from her stalker. He is even less happy when she asks him to investigate something suspicious she saw at a fire. Two intense people with crazy schedules would never be attracted to each other - especially when Cassidy reminds Jordan so much of his ex. As things heat up (pun intended) will these two get an HEA? Will the children be found? Will Cassidy's stalker escalate his behavior? If you like clean romantic suspense, you will want to grab this book.

I was given a free copy of this Audiobook In exchange for an honest review. Cassidy is a single firefighter looking for love on a television reality show but has no luck. She then has the smarts to ask God for a man (just like myself in real life ps. worked out great for me.) But was she following her own will or Gods? She has a lot of friends at the station and then she meets a certain police officer Jordan. Things maybe starting to develop when all of a sudden Cassidy comes up mysteriously missing. Read the book and find out what happens to her and if she Follows god's will and will she get her man and her happy ever after. The next book in the men on fire beach collection is love memories and new beginnings can't wait to read!

Fire Games (The Men of Fire Beach #1) was a great read by Lorana Hoopes. Cassidy is a firefighter who went on a reality dating show. She thought that it would solve her relationship problems, but it just makes everything worse for her. She returns home and finds out that she has a stalker who is starting to get closer and closer to her. Jordan is a detective who is trying to save missing children and doesn’t want anything to do with Cassidy’s stalker. He never thought that the two cases would collide and he will do anything to save her. I really enjoyed Cassidy and Jordan’s story, I can’t wait to read more in this series.

I really enjoy listening to audiobooks written by Loranna Hoopes. She has the ability to grab you right from the beginning, and keep your interest all the way to the end. So, I’m always looking for any new writings by her.

As a narrator for her own book, I believe she does it justice. Loranna seems to move from each character’s voice with great clarity that you would think there were more than one narrator.

I do recommend this audiobook for listening. I give it 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s.

Cassidy is a firefighter and starts being stalked. She contacts the police and Jordan is assigned to the case even though he doesn’t want to be taken away from the case he is on -searching for missing children. He meets up with Cassidy and thinks she is making it up. But as time goes by and more events happen is Cassidy really making up the stalking, or is her life in jeopardy?

Lighthearted with a heavy dose of suspense. I liked that Cassidy Marcel was the lone firefighter in a crew of men. Is there going to be a story about Captain Fitzgerald, her intimidating boss? He would make a good one. Good characters, plenty of conflict, and the author does a great job with pacing. Enjoyed this story and want to read more.

Cassidy is back to her job as fire fighter after being on reality TV (so you can imagine the stirring from her workmates) and now she has a stalker. Jordan isn't interested in anything distracting him from his missing children case. Lots of great dialogue and enjoyed the characters and the storyline. A good read and introduction to the series.

Very good Christian romantic suspense story. I really enjoyed it. I would’ve given it 5 stars but it doesn’t stand alone. There is clearly a previous story and not having read it the reader is really missing a lot of information. It also ends on a cliffhanger so the reader has to keep reading through the series. Those are the only drawbacks.

Christian Contemporary Romance

I enjoyed this action packed story, but wish the Christian aspect was a bigger part of the story.
The author narrated, and she did an excellent job with the mail voices. I think if she relaxed more it would flow better, but it was still impressive. I don't get a chance to listen to many author narrated stories, so I was quite impressed!

I enjoyed this book very much. I loved Jordan and Cassidy and their story. The spiritual growth of the two was good. Both had "war" stories but they found they way, with God's help, to one another. Cassidy has a stalker and Jordan is assigned to find out and capture who it is. Fast moving, good read.

**Audiobook Review** What a great book to listen to. The story kept my attention and had me trying to figure out who was stalking Cassidy. When you least expect it, you find love, as the saying goes. Looking forward to listening to book 2 in the Fire Beach series

I was surprised at how much went on in this book, even though it was on the shorter side. I mostly read romance, but I like mixing in suspenseful romance every so often and this worked perfectly for that. I don't strictly read clean or Christian, but I enjoy this author

Fast, interesting read

I enjoyed this story. Likeable characters and enough suspense to keep me turning the pages. I would have liked to have seen the relationship aspect fleshed out a little more, but that is the nature of shorter stories. All in all, a pleasant read.

This was a nice firefighter and cop romance. I believe this book is a spin off and our main character may have been a side character in a previous reality tv show book. I enjoyed the double mystery in this book and the suspense that it entailed. It was an enjoyable read.

This was a fast-moving book. I enjoyed meeting the characters and following the plot; however, it was very predictable and unrealistic. I love a good fiction book so I did enjoy it, it just wasn’t my favorite. I listened to the audiobook read by the author. She has a pleasant voice.
