Evil brews in the boys of Trinity High. Drop dead gorgeous. The flame of hell in their eyes. And rage. Pure, unadulterated rage in every word, every look and every breath they send my way.
There's every indication they're out to break me. Maybe I'll let them. Maybe I'll bite back. After all, what's a girl got to lose when her heart's already been obliterated?
Holy Trinity is a high school bully romance fit for readers who love the transition from enemies to lovers.
Holy Trinity is a reverse harem high school bully romance.
A lot of the bully romances recently have had a similar plot but this one was different. Rhett, Kellan and Gage AKA The Hotshots meet Elly during summer camp. They fall in love but they don’t tell Elly about their life back home. Things are dangerous and they don’t want her getting involved, so they are blindsided when she starts their school senior year. For reasons that they think are justified they start bullying Elly, trying to push her away.
The sex scenes in this book are some of the hottest I’ve read in a while 🔥 This was a darker, bully romance with hot and steamy scenes and some action and suspense. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who loves this genre.
I have been wanting to read Holy Trinity ever since I first saw it. I knew that it was a bully romance, and I am a huge fan of these two authors together. So I knew it was going to be good. And I was not wrong. The story flow is fast, a lot happens, and you are going to need to keep up. The story itself is similar to what I have read before, but let's face it I have read a lot of the bully romance so I am bound to find similar points, but different. But with Savannah and Amelia as the authors you know it's going to be good.
Now everything starts happening right off the bat. And I have to say some stuff happens to our female lead Elly. I really hated Rhett, Kellan and Gage from like the get go. I mean sometimes it takes a bit for you to really hate the guys, nope, this was pretty much right off the bat. And they continue to just be such dicks. I mean I found myself cringing several times. But is everything what it seems? That is the question. I kept wondering what could be their reasoning for being so mean to her? Yes you will find out, and I was not really expecting that.
Now the premise is that Elly and the guys meet at summer camp, and she develops a relationship with them. When she accidently gets moved to their school, things take a drastic turn. They are completely different. I really liked how we went back and forth from the present to the summer while they are at camp. It helped me to really like them, and you will probably find where it does the same for you. The bad guy, is a complete bad guy and I hated him pretty hard. There are a few things I had questions on, and when you read this I am sure you will have the same. I will not point them out, because every reader is different and it may not be questionable for you. But if it does I am sure you will know what I mean. But honestly, Holy Trinity is just a good bully rh romance to read, so if you have some time, I would definitely add to your reading pile.
Summer camp the summer before her senior year is not what Elly expected. As one of the oldest campers, she thought she would spend time reading in the sun, floating on the lake, bored and out of place. Instead, she lost her heart and her virginity. She spent the summer having deep talks, drinking and laughing with the Hotshots. Kellan, Rhett, and Gage gave her the best summer of her life. But as soon as it ended her life changed. An unexpected family development forced a relocation placing Elly at the same school as the Hotshots. Hoping to resume their friendship, Ellie didn't get the reaction she expected from the guys. She found herself the target of their ridicule and abuse. The boys she met at camp are replaced by the rulers of Trinity High and they are intent on destroying her. They want her gone. Why?
Holy Trinity is a combination of multiple genres; RH, Mafia, and bully-light. I love all of these genres, have read extensively in each genre, and am very critical. I came up with mixed results here. The premise is promising. The characters are well thought out. The story arc was nicely planned. The execution was uneven. The writing wasn't as seamless as I would have liked. There were points of repetition and missing words and I think that Gage must have been called Tommy at some point because there were slip-ups when that name would be used. I also had an issue with characters making their lives harder than they had to be to move the story forward. I don't want to give spoilers but if you know who someone is, if you expect them to behave a certain way, don't be taken off guard when they prove you correct. Protect yourself. If you have a plan, follow through. Don't be a victim. I would have been happier if certain circumstances didn't seem contrived and characters acted intelligently.
The book alternated between present-day and camp flashbacks. The POV was mostly Elly's but there were chapters featuring the guys. I would have liked even more from the guys. The sexual chemistry between Elly and the guys was smoking but the emotional connection lacked a genuineness at times. I never felt that Gage was capable of more than sex. I loved Rhett until... I thought Kellan was the most committed but his actions on the first day of school before he realized Elly was there showed his shallowness. I wish I could have felt the guys were truly loving and loyal and not just horny. There was also never a period of redemption; something fundamentally important to me in a bully romance. The book took an upturn turn towards the end. When the story moved out of the school halls and into the mafia world, it became clever, suspenseful, and kept me on the edge of my seat. To me, this was its strength. My only other comment is that I would have loved to go back to school at the end. I had unanswered questions about Prestley's place, the fallout from the betrayal, and how the guys were going to repair the damage they caused to Elly.
I did receive this book as an ARC, but as always all opinions are my own.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I honestly loved it! It is extremely well written, the plot is interesting, mysterious, and steamy enough to hold your interest from beginning to end. The steamy sex scenes were amazing, and so was the chemistry between the characters! I thouroughly enjoyed this book, and can’t wait to see what else this author has in store in the future!
This book was awesome! It had bully elements, intrigue, kidnapping, and mind-numbingly delicious sex! This was more than a bully romance...the story encompasses young love, first times, and heart-wrenching emotion before bringing you full circle and leaving you wanting more. Another hit by these two authors! Please say there will be more as this is listed as book 1??!! These characters are too unforgettable to never visit again!
Holy wow factor what an intriguing read this book was. This book captured me from the very first chapter and I couldn’t put it down. This unique web of twists and turns and ups and down story definitely stands out against other books out. These characters and their stories and backgrounds and flashbacks all grip you in one way or another and make them so likeable and relatable. I really enjoyed this book and loved getting swept away in its journey. I would definitely recommend.
This was such a a Good story. Hot and steamy and a bully romance. Even though it takes place in high school. I leaned more towards college but they were over 18 so that works. Storyline was really good. I liked the different pov. The ending was freaking awesome. I hope that maybe there will be a book 2. Pretty please!!!
It was a nice read but more bullying than relationship in this one.... Things happens without a reason and I just can't understand why they didn't just leave her alone after the first act of bullying if they wanted her to stay way from them...
Wow. I loved this one. The story was great, the bullying was cruel! But the sex scenes. Dear freaking god. Im still blushing haha. Really really loved the story.
This is how a HS bully romance should be! The story is full of mystery and suspense. Passion and angst burns up the pages. Everyone is fighting their deepest desires and craving the bully has never felt so good. It was a wild ride that intrigued me and kept me weak in the knees.
This is my first read from Savannah Rose and Amelia Gates and I guarantee it will not be the last.
Thoroughly enjoyed the lead female character, Elly Fox, as she was a little spitfire and even when the chips were down, she tried to soldier through the hardship and pain.
We meet our heroine, Elly, as she is being dropped off at a summer camp. At 18, she is sure this will be the most boring summer EVER! It only takes about 30 seconds to learn it will be anything BUT. From the moment she meets the 3 guys she deems, "The Hotshots" her life is irrevocably changed.
Fast-forward to end of summer camp and return to 'real-life'. After her parents divorce, Elly relocates with her mom to a different city meaning she will have to start her Senior year at a new high school. What she doesn't and couldn't know, is that her path with her 3 guys is getting ready to cross again, however, she is shocked by the reception she gets.
Elly is the new-girl in a high school where "The Hotshots" are just that, and they set the tone with their own tribe of which she is excluded. The ensuing story is filled with Elly trying to discover why Gage, Kellan and Rhett are so different from the guys she left at summer camp.
Gage, Kellan and Rhett are from a dangerous world and their attempts at distancing Elly from their daily lives is on a collision course.
During the course of the book, you form an opinion for each of these characters and need to keep reading to find out what happens in the climax.
Congrats to Savannah and Amelia and an awesome book!
I have had a hard time with my Bully books lately having far too many similarities and nothing to differentiate them. Holy Trinity however, had it all. Bullying, Mafia, Action & Suspense, and BOAT LOADS of sexual tension and steamy scenes. I mean really guys, they about set my Kindle on fire🔥.
This is the first book I have read by them, and I was pleasantly surprised. From the very first page you can tell that our FMC is a strong and independent girl. She is also fiercely loyal to her Hotshots no matter what they do to her.
She stood by her “take no sh—“ attitude throughout the entire book and we weren’t disappointed. When push came to shove she fought back and didn’t let a single person run over her.
Second, her Hotshots were SMOKING HOT!!! They were jerks to her to the point of no return. However, because Savannah and Amelia wrote this fabulous book in multiple POV’s you quickly understand why they are bullying her. At no point did I hate them for what they were doing to her. I HATED what they were forced to do to her, but I understood it! Which is one of the things I liked about this Bully.
Green meadow ranch was where they all met. A summer of freedom and firsts, of love and hope. Friendships and more.
A new school, for the last year and there they are, her lost boys.
Suprised and shocked are they, underneath their masks of indifference.
Shes here, they're here and the poop is about to hit the fan!
If reverse harem or bully books are your thing, then you NEED to read this!!
Oh my gosh it has everything, from suspence and intrigue to bullying, intimidation and complete victimisation.
I've not read either author before, it was purely the cover that spoke to me that brought me here, and I'm soooo glad of that as it's a read that sticks out from a crowd.
Its unique, in the circumstances of the family, and the actions of the key players to her reactions from start to finish.
I found I too desired all three. They steal your heart with the private moments, the reasoning behind everything and simply their ability to make you weak kneed.
Theres not a single thing I didn't love about this!
i have read a few books now by these two authors and i love them. the story is about Elly who goes off to summer camp and she meets the hotshots as she calls them and they become more than just friends. But when she returns home she has to move and ends up going to the same school as the hotshots but what Elly does not know is that the hotshots come from a family off mobster and they deiced to take drastic action in order to protect and it all goes a bit pear shape from there. The book is full off mystery , lies, and some very hot sexy scene. The character and the story line are very well written and can i say i loved how we got to see what happen at summer camp between them and how there relationship started and how Elly has feelings for all of them. There was one part were something happens at school between Elly and Rehett i wanted to kill him for what he did to her and i thought that would have been what broke her completely after i read that i stayed yp till 2am in the morning as i couldn't put the book down and need to see what happen between them all.
This is my first read for this author. Trinity is an RH bully high school read. The story is done in multiple POVs, but there is present read which is the current storyline and the past which is the time they spent at camp. I enjoyed the POVs but I was not a fan of the flash back and forth, I think the story would have been more smooth if the summer camp was told at once in the beginning of the book, with maybe here and there flashbacks as Elly is dealing with The Hotshots in present school time. I enjoyed that she did not take bully but fought back and had a backbone, this made the story for me. I like reading books with female with a bit of strength and anger to fight back. The Hotshots have their reasons and although it is a protective reason, I feel like some things were a bit much. There is a quite a plot twist, and overall an enjoyable story. A recommend for those looking for a mafia bully read that has a strong fighting female lead!
I really liked this one! With all the RH bully romances out there right now, the authors managed to script an original and engaging plot right from page one. While it didn't end on a cliffhanger, there are some threads left open for secondary characters that I'm hoping will be explored in further books in the series. I also would love to see how Elly and the guys fare further on down the road. So many possibilities. I only knocked off a star due to spelling and grammatical errors - they weren't too distracting, but writing of this caliber deserves a thorough and polished proofread and edit, don't you think? Overall, this was a great read and I'm looking forward to Trinity High Book 2!
I’ve had my eye on this book for a while and I was not disappointed!! I loved the FMC Elly she was tough, resilient, intelligent and spirited. The guys I really couldn’t stand! They were truly awful but looks can be deceiving! As we find out! We start out at Summer camp were Elly meets the guys and everything is fine and she develops a relationship with them now fast forward she ends up at their school due to her patients divorce and everything has changed. The reception she received is not what she expected! We go back and forth from the present to the summer which I enjoyed. I loved this book it had mystery, suspense and romance. It was such a well written book with a great plot and a fabulous addition to this genre!
This was a great addition to the bully RH books that have popped up recently! I loved how this book contained flashbacks to summer camp and Rhett’s POV- it really helped to flesh out the character’s relationship and gave a reason why the bullying was occurring. Elly has a backbone and is not afraid to stand up for herself, overall. It felt like her reactions were realistic when it came to the bullying. The steamy scenes were HOT (that creek scene!)!!! I felt the twist was a little expected, but I enjoyed it. And I’m interested to see the Kellan and Gage’ POV going forward (fingers crossed for that)!
Holy Trinity was an extremely mind blowing read. The FMC had actually grit to her and did not stop even in the most challenging of trials she faced from the guys. The guys each offer something different and still are unified in what they dislike. Without this approach to the personality of the characters it would not have made the book nearly as interesting to read. The insight to the groups dynamic at camp compared to high school also provide an interesting contrast. From sweet to sour the ultimate goal is protection for those they love, even though they do not explain anything leaving the reader and the girl to figure out the final decisions.
Oh my goodness, this book was SO good. It blew me away with in depth of how close these 3 guys were and what family life was like for them. But when this shy girl comes into the picture all bets are off. Elly changes the game for Kellen, Gage and Rhett. They are the next generation of mob bosses and don't even know it and sweet Elly is the girl that they fall in love with. You get to see how things change but also remain the same and I hope that they have more story to tell. This is worth the read. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.
Um, yeah. I'm not sure where to start. The book alternates between present day and the previous summer at camp, which at first I found annoying but ended up loving it. There are also alternate pov between Elly and the guys. I definitely would have been down for more of the guys pov. It was definitely HOT and I must say, I didn't expect everything that happened in this fast paced book. I absolutely loved it as it's different from what I've read before. I can't wait to hear more about what happens to them though.
Elly’s parents recently divorced, and her mother moved them to a new town, and to top it off Elly is starting at new school her senior year of high school. But who does she see? 3 boys she met during summer camp who she had a wonderful time with, who have since then ghosted her. Why? And why are they now bullying her in the most meanest way? Was it all a lie?!
I read this book in less than a day and I loved it. I honestly couldn’t put it down.

Omg wow this book blew my mind. The characters are all amazingly written and strong bonds. All throughout this book you are taken on a rollercoaster ride from love to heartache and bullying back to love all in a crazy cycle. It's good to see both Elly's pov and Rhett's pov. Also the glimpse's back to them all at camp make this an intense book where you wonder how it's going to end. What else can I say to the brilliant ending you will all totally love. 100% you guys need to read this
Never doubt that when these authors write a book, it will be anything less than HOT! Two words: creek scene. Trust me, you’ll thank me later after you read it. The authors did a great job of weaving flashback chapters in-between current day events for the main characters. Some of the bullying was hard to stomach, but the ending made it so worth it. Overall, very satisfying read to curl up with along with a glass of wine :)
This book was ok. So much flipping back and forth past to present.. Maybe I wasn't in the mood for that kind of book and I'm sorry. Others may do please give it a chance. No cliffhangers or continue to a series. It said the end @ the end lol!! So you get the full story!
I was unable to connect. The verbiage felt awkward. I would have preferred if the story started with the h meeting the heroes at summer camp. Instead the h starts school and sees the heroes, whine she already knows and had sex with one of them. The h telling me their history is not the same as ‘seeing’ it.
This may work for you, but it did not work for me. My opinion.

I found this book a strange one. I don't really know why. I stopped reading a certain way through and then went back after a few days. That seemed to do the trick for me. As i started to get into it more second time round. But the pace did pick up a lot.
Overall i did enjoy it and boy did it deliver as all the action and events started to unravel.
