There was a whole lot of skimming going on here.

It was an interesting plot basis..... it just seemed very disjointed.
Instalove, not good side characters. It didn’t offend me but it just wasn’t good in my opinion.

Boring and predictable big dick fascination

Seriously... this was amongst the worst stories in breeder literature I have ever come across. I don't mind a bit of bestiality but what is it with some of these authors who believe that a huge dick that may or may not split you in two is enough to get away with a lousy story. If I could give this a minus star I would.

Alien Breed de Penelope Woods

Argumento:

A ver...

Ummmm no. This book was not for me in any way. It was entirely too fast, there were a lot of grammatical errors throughout, and the way the story was developing was just not good. I did not connect to it in any way and I’m not going to force myself to keep reading this.

Naomi is sent on a mission where she gets abducted by Turin. Turin wants a baby and wants Naomi to give him a child. This is a fast-paced sci-fi read with plenty of drama, suspense and steam. I loved the world building and the story really drew me in. A good read.

A wonderful innovative read….
This story is totally gripping from the very start to the very last word on the very last page where you are drawn into the plot of the story and the main characters that have been written so well it is simply impossible not to feel as though you are actually far more than simply the reader, you almost feel part of the story.
Naomi has been sent on a mission arriving on the planet Avalon where she finds herself captured and abducted by Turin a very large and very protective Alien that is filled with devious ideas he wants to experiment with on her young and very beautiful body.
This story was filled with everything I have come to expect from this author action, intrigue and there are plenty of surprises and twists and surprising turns that keep you guessing right to the very end of the story.
It was also surprising how when the chips were down and it seemed as though all was lost some of the most surprising alien and humans worked together in the hope they may stop the inevitable devastation.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Experimental colony goes very wrong before Naomi and Turin make it right
The year is 2093 and a group of scientists and astronaut-types are headed to Avalon. This is the second expedition to go there. Everyone is so excited to have finally made it, but something is off the moment they approach. Some of the crew are acting differently but that’s nothing to what happens once they reach the camp of the first expedition!
Naomi has been treading water her whole life or at least since the death of the rest of her family in a freak car accident when the auto-pilot went haywire. She’s hoping to find something on this new planet. What she finds is Turin, an alien monster. Or is he? There’s another alien monster, Zakar who is trying to mate with her and kill her.
Oh. My. Word. I don’t read many alien out-of-this-world stories but this one was intriguing. I especially liked that Ms. Woods allowed Naomi to find someone who truly loved her and for Turin to find out that all humans were not monsters. I was offered an ARC through Booksprout, didn’t have time but promised the author to review it when I was able. It is recommended to those who enjoy PNR romance with some steam, lots of suspense and surprising HEA. I give it 3.5 stars.

This is an enthralling Sci-Fi alien romance with some dark undertones & it was a pleasure to read it. The plot is well-written & intriguing with some suspenseful situations with good scene descriptions & world building. The characters are fairly well-developed & at times inclined to be confrontational because of difference between the species & social structures.
There is: a young human female medical officer (Naomi) is sent on a mission & arrives on a planet (Avalon) but gets abducted by a rather huge alien (Turin) who has devious intentions in store for her, a brutal alien (Zakar), Earth Federation, military manipulations, experiments, expectations, missions, adventure, action, suspense, intrigue, twists & turns, secrets, mystery, deceit, betrayal, unease, strange discoveries, threats, danger, violence, conflict, injuries, death, confrontations, unexpected allies, steamy scenes, & a well-deserved satisfying conclusion.

When Naomi Adams accepts a mission to go into space to Avalon she thinks it a pretty standard mission. It’s not long after they land on this strange new planet though that it becomes apparent the team has been lied to. They have a pretty diverse team but their captain is no leader and another has all the answers. When they realize they aren’t alone panic sets in.

Turin has always believed that humans are the enemy so he can’t explain the protectiveness he instantly feels for Naomi. He does understand his attraction and need to breed. Once Naomi realizes he’s not trying to hurt her she gives into her own attraction.

This story had some good action. The pacing of the storyline and plot was good. It was easy to understand and follow along, even with the twists. The characters all had unique personalities.

Alien Breed by Penelope Woods was a gut twister of a tale!!! I LOVED the tentative nuances that the author provided for the main (and supplementary characters). It’s the story of Naomi and Turin. She’s a member of the envoy to the uninhabited planet Avalon. But….it’s NOT uninhabited!!! There are dangerous aliens that abound….or are they aliens??

I LOVED this story of trust, romance, love, hatred, greed, and all things good/bad in humanity. It’s about two souls that are destined to be together…..and the trial and tribulations they encounter in trying to do so….can they achieve this, against all odds??? What a wonderful, touching, heart-wrenching love story for the ages!!! Penelope Woods has written a masterpiece!!!

I think that this is Ms. Wood's best work in the sci-fi genre to date. It is explosive, aggressive, horrific in retrospect to what humans of, deliciously dark and spellbinding. Each character, not just the main ones (Torin and Naomi), plays a crucial role in the outcome of the planet, its survivors and their desperate attempts at escape. The sexual chemistry and intensity start with a bang - for Turin, it is his basic nature, his "programming" that makes him want to "mate" Naomi; he was designed to kill and to breed. As their lives continue to intertwine, becoming dependant on each other for survival, this lust morphs into a passion swirling in intensity like a tornado, coming full circle and peaking closer to the end.
"Alien Breed." is a book worth purchasing because there is so much going on with the characters, the action and drama on the surface, that there is still more to explore.

This book was brilliant and I loved the characters and the story line. Naomi Adams wanted a new start and traveling to the planet Avalon on a mission by the Earth federation to find out what happened to the other before them. But once they get there they realize that they where all lied to by the government and they now have two aliens experiments trying to kill them but they want to breed with the only female in the group her and now must fight for there lives in the hope that can work together to get back home. But what Naomi didn’t think would ever happen to her she falls for the alien named Turin because he is gentle and cares about her and fights his lab brother Zakar to keep her safe. The twist and turns keep coming at you throughout this book it’s amazing I would definitely recommend this book.

I couldn't get in this story but other readers could enjoy it. A second human expedition is sent to the planet Avalon with Naomi as part of the crew. What they find there is an expected danger from two alien experiments from a previous mission. Turin and Zakar were created by humans and suffered under their control until they were able to defeat them. They were created as weapons but Zakar was uncontrollable leading to all of the first mission's demise. Turin is different because he had the ability to feel empathy. Zakar plans to share the female for procreation and kill all the other humans. Turin's first instinct is to protect Naomi and save her for himself.

There is lots of danger in the storyline both from Zakar and the other humans since the truth about the planet and the mission were not disclosed with the whole team.

Dirty and delicious

Ok. I liked this book because the "alien" actually grows emotionally and loved the h. He doesn't kidnap the h, he's rescuing her, which works for me because I can never buy the whole "I kidnapped you now love me" trope. Time and time again he proved that he loves her and is reliable. Days are longer and they end up being gone for years instead of days. The end was a little weird in that there wasn't much explanation in how they integrated into a word that had moved on from them. Although, the last scene was DIRTY! 🔥🔥🔥 Of course, we've learned by now that's how she likes it! A couple other things were not really explained, or just explained by, "I don't know how it works, it just does." Which is a good way for an author to just make stuff up and then not deal with explaining wth is going on. Overall, I liked this book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is about Earth (NASA) sending people in to space to Avalon's the year is 2093 it took they a year to make it to Avalon planets but the ones they sent to the planet first did not know what would happen to them on this planet because of what Earth sent them to do. The first team was to make humans and alien DNA together to make a alien weapon to use to take over other planets. The first crew was all die because they did not control the aliens that they made. Earth sent another ship to the planet after a few years that had gone by the new crew did not know what had happen or what was gone on the planet so the crew of the second ship. The crew are the captain Halloway, Fassbender, Roy, and Hugh and then Naomi. The Aliens are Turin and Zakar they was made in a lab to be a weapon. Now would be the time to get this book. I will be getting more from this author.

They were sent on a mission, but its not the mission they thought they were going on. Secrets are revealed even before they land, and when they got there they knew that something drastic had gone wrong.Corpses not human were hung out, , they they discovered the there was no one left there... Betrayal written in large letters, and last but not least there were beasts there and they were coming for them. But Naomi is the only female and Turin the beast claims her as his for the breeding. More secrets and another beast that cant die, can Turin possibly save them, oar is the true beast a human?

A really great dark, Alien sci-fi, that has twists and turns that you dont see coming, but at the same time is turely worth while reading. For more just one click now you will not be disapointed!

Penelope Woods writes a story of compassion, betrayal, and love in this action-adventure alien romance. From the beginning in Chapter 1, this weary crew from Earth are on the edge of an adventure that takes an unexpected turn on the planet, Avalon. And the suspense doesn't ever stop or slow down. Within this exotic backdrop with danger front and center, there is Turin, the alien, who is hellbent on conquering Naomi. And just as he has to work to win her love, we, the reader, also get our chance to be won over by the deep-seated emotions that he bears and the depth of his love for his woman. And Penelope doesn't hold back on his "expression" of love, so you might need a fan. Great story, all round.

I read a lot Alien Romances and I found this book highly enjoyable and it kept my interest till the final page. I liked the characters Naomi Adams and Turin. The story is a little dark but I've read dark romances so I enjoyed it. Naomi is a medical officer on a ship from Earth that is going to the planet Avalon. When they arrive there are aliens on the planet and they realize they been lied to. On Avalon Naomi gets taken by Turin who had one purpose and it is to breed. Unexpectedly Turin starts to feel an instant protectiveness toward Naomi. When Naomi realizes his intentions will she allows herself to accept him? There is suspense, action , twists and turns in this romance that I volunteer to read and review via booksprout. ARC

Whoa! Naomi the scientist that is in way over her head. She’s on a mission sent by the government to figure out what happened on the planet Avalon to the other crew. When she gets there her and the crew find various other alien bodies rotted decaying etc. Little does she know that this is all conspiracy. #1. She is the only female in the crew. #2. They give the as to need info as they approach the planet that no longer has a crew. #3. Twenty years on Planet Avalon. She is to be bred because the “Aliens” found her will do just that. One for evil. One for himself. Action pack of being hunted and needing to find a way off planet. Quick, fast, and steamy adventure.

Naomi Adams is sent on a mission to Avalon without being told the truth by the government officials who sent her and the rest of them to their doom. But it doesn’t take them long to figure out that the team was told nothing but lies.
Turin had one purpose: breeding. But he feels an instant protectiveness toward Naomi. When Naomi realizes he won’t harm her, she allows herself to accept him.

The story line was intriguing and the characters were well-depicted. The fast pacing worked well to keep the reader interested in what was going on. Grab your copy and see how this ill-conceived mission turns out.

Going to a whole new world to have adventures away from earth, is so intriguing to Naomi after losing her family. After spending a year on a ship with like minded men, the wait to help make a new world sounds better and better. Turin can only be what the monsters shaped him into, can he be a better alien for Naomi? Yes! Finding the new world isnt what they thought and they only want to go back to Earth. Getting there with the fuel missing will be even harder. Got some sexy times which I loved!

This book is just perfect. Great story, interesting characters. Full of action and horror, it is quite atmospheric. Naomi's back story is well developed and fitting to the story. Very steamy and romantic, Penelope does not disappoint. Although I think that Naomi gave in to Turin too easily, he is so perfect and sweet that I ignored that. Also, I wondered why they didn't have more children since Turin's instincts to breed are so great. The ending though was very satisfying! I loved this book and I think it is Penelope's best so far :)

This is a darker sci-fi story that starts with death but ends with new life and love. The twists in the story keep coming. Just when you think you know what is going to happen something or someone changes it all. Naomi is the main character from the start. She is smart but has no idea what she is traveling to. There are lies within lies on the new planet. And that is before she meets Turin and Zakar. One is made for killing and the other for breeding. Both are dangerous aliens. Expect plenty of action and death as the crew try to survive. And things do heat up at times as this is also a romance story.

It was good.

Naomi is NASA space medic from the year 2093, she and her space crew were sent on a mission to help colonize a new planet. Little did they know it was actually a mission to bring back the weapons the Earth federation created. The weapons were humanoids that broke out of captivity and killing the first scientists for experimenting on them. Long story short Naomi fined love and compassion for one of the humanoids. That has vowed to protect her, even against his own crazy brother. Will the escape the planet and survive? Will they live hold their baby? Read and see!
