Book 1: One Black Rose- Autumn is spending g the summer with her friend Carley. When she meets two strange guys. One is named Holt and Autumn is wanting more. Then there is Samuel who seems to be cold around her. They have a major secret both a fairy Princes.
Book 2: August- Holt left to protect everyone but Autumn is still in danger thanks to a distant cousin of the fairies called the water sprites. Can Holt come back to protect her? Will Samuel be able to protect her too?
Book 3: Autumn- Now that autumn and Holt are in serious trouble with the high court what are they to do. Autumn finds out that one of them has to die. Holt's brother Logan is acting like the Winter Queen, bad. Can Autumn survive Holt dying or vice versa?
I wanted the MC to die. She and her best friend were the WORST. No character growth. No maturity. No depth. Only micro focused on herself and her “love” for holt. By the 3rd book his character fell flat. So glad he died. And how is this book about Fairies??? The only thing fairy that they did was grow plants and be cold. Hated hated this. I dont know why I finished. Maybe thought the MC would die.
Get into the mind of a 16 year old girl who unknowingly gets involved with a group of fairies while spending the summer in a beach house with her best friend. Things get complicated really fast and it is a great ride.
When I first started reading this book it reminded me a little of Twilight 1 girl torn between 2 hot guys who both seemed to have their secrets. The ending to this wasn't what I expected but it was good and I admit to having shed a few tears.
