There are many good devotions here, but there are also many awful ones! The awful ones make me gasp and sometimes get upset with their interpretations. By "awful" I mean denying a part of Christ's divinity or having a completely non-Catholic interpretation of a passage. This book is not fit for its purpose.

This has been a useful tool for personal reflection and prayer. I am going right back to the beginning and using it again for this year.

12/31/23 - The reflections in this book are varied enough that I was not at all bothered by using it a second year in a row. This year I'm going to try something different, but I will hang on to it and likely pull it out again in the future.
