Amber Crewes is a great & realistic author of cozy mysteries... the characters are so relatable and they have a background story that is built on and flows nicely, so it makes sense. Each story is a cozy mystery of its own as a stand alone, however to follow the character storyline, you really need to start at the beginning of the series and read your way through...YOU'LL BE GLAD THAT YOU DID!!

It's an amazing, awesome, superb box set. Each book is absolutely thrilling and very very adorable. I especially loved Meghan's friendship with Karen, her interaction with Mrs.Sheridan and her romance with Detective Jack Irvin. Every story has an amazing twist with an equally interesting climax. It's a delightful series. Wonderful job by the author.

Fine for a mindless read
The editing of the stories was sloppy. Characters were mixed up, events were changed mid paragraph. The first several stories had the main character being attacked by the killer in the same over dramatic way. Cutesy words were used to describe how friends responded to each other such as "purred". The stories were fine for a mindless read, and I might consider reading the rest of the series to see how things turn out for Meghan, but only if they are included in my Kindle unlimited subscription. I'm not invested enough in the characters to purchase the stories to own.

Sorry, but not for me
Very simplistic, repetitive and unrealistic - how many Police Officers would allow a small business owner talk to suspects, tell them all about the case and rely on them to solve it, usually after jumping to several wrong conclusions?! I did try, but the French story was the end for me - sorry.

Great cozy mysteries
I liked the series. Meghan solves the mystery but not until her bakery business suffers because everyone thinks she served tainted food. All 14 books are similiar

This was such a fun series to read. I like the humor and the characters. This town sounds like such a neat place to live. I wish I had Karen's energy, I should hit the gym more. And all the sweets and desserts sound so delicious! I hope there's more of this series coming.

I liked these books. I also like the fact that they are standalones. I don't always get all the books of a series in order so this is a plus for me. I think you will enjoy Meghan, Jack and all the other people in Sandy Bay. I recommend this series and any of the Sandy Bay books

Wonderful reading...
Exciting and entertaining vignettes. They flowed well and each was captivating with such different subjects. Jack and Meghan and the fur babies are attention getting.

This is a good series !
Another tasty bakery set of stories. Meghan starts her bakery in a small town after she left Hollywood. She has a good friend in Karen who she knew in LA. Murders solved, friends and food. All good things for a cozy mystery . Happy Reading !!!

Ok
This to me this series of books were ok but after a few the story didn't change that much. Always a murder but nearly all solved by the lady from the cake shop but without an investigation. Who led away a bit of time though. The 'treats' sounded delicious though.

Delightful Series!
Each book is well written with well developed characters and story lines.
The setting in a small town is a fun aspect so all types of personalities can be incorporated into the stories.
Can’t wait to start the next box set!

Predictable & Redundant
Heroine is annoying, always put upon & judging others. Story lines vary very little. They are quick reads though if your looking for a fast read.

Fun series.
It is an easy but fun series to read. I am able to enjoy the quirky antics of the characters but not have to concentrate to hard. Very relaxing read.

Never thought I would read 14 books in 3 days. Though the length of the books was short the story lines were interesting and well written.

I couldn't get past the fact that the main character opened the series by going into another business and trying to poach the employee during business hours.

This is really fun series. A lot of interesting characters in the town of Sandy Bay. Being from Southern Oregon, I really enjoyed reading about other towns in Oregon.

Short and sweet. Each book is roughly 100 pages or less, more so the length of a novella. I blew through most of this box set in just a few days. Safe for mental health.
