As the story of the Rosewood girls continues, the stories have become a little boring to me. Yes I was happy about the marriages, the pregnancies and now the births, but the plots for the crimes have become weak. The majority of this book is repetitive words and thoughts between the characters which causes me to skim through to get to the end. I hope that now the babies are born and the girl's powers increase, we will have some strong investigative stories where their powers really shine.
10++++ stars!!!! What a story with so many twists and turns in it. Angie and the gang helped chief Martin solve this messy case. Boy, ejection can have a real bad mental effect on unbalanced people. And it's real dangerous when you don't know that person well enough to know. Break-ins, murder, threatening messages and just strange unbalanced unexplained things happening with no explanation. You won't be able to put down this book!! I spent some sleepless nights reading this book. ENJOY!!!!
The mystery in this particular book wasn’t as compelling as other books in this series. It was a lot of interviewing people and suspects, over and over again. There wasn’t much involvement with Ellie and Courtney in solving the mystery. The end was emotional and that made up for the weak storyline!
This one threw me off. I didn’t know who the culprit was. Is it Joelle? Allen? Roger? Who knows?! I thought I knew, but then maybe I don’t?? Glad the person was caught even though people had to be brutally attacked and there was even a killing.
What was also mentioned by the family friend, Orla (she has paranormal powers) was that the pregnant sisters Angie and Jenna will develop even stronger senses five months after their babies are born. Orla said she’d help the sisters look into the mysterious death of their mother. So, the next book will probably involve that mystery.
Then the end of the book brought an entirely new scenario for the next few books in this series. I can’t wait to read all about Gigi and Libby!
And the recipes at the end of every book…so far, SO GOOD! Delicious! Amazing really! From this book I’m going to make the Greek Butter Cookies. The ingredients will surely bring forth deliciousness. Yum.
Another great book in the series...and Angie and Jenna (twins) have their babies within an hour of each other! Another good mystery. As soon as I finish one if the books I grab my Kindle and start the next book!

J A Whitney's A Sweet Cove Mystery series is such a delightful refuge in the chaos of today's world. The Roseland sisters, their husbands and significant others along with Mr Finch, Euclid, Circe, Chief Martin and a host of close friends always exhibit such love and care for each other. Additionally, Chief Martin depends on the Roseland sisters and Mr Finch and the cats to assist in solving the mysteries in each book. The way they bounce clues and paranormal feelings about the cases off each other keeps you turning pages to see if you have solved the mystery before they do!
Angie and Jenna are both very near to delivering their babies. Chief Martin calls the girls in about a break-in at Brighter Days a help house. The intruder wandered around for 2 hours. There's a second break-in this time the intruder left a bullet and a pair of handcuffs on Bev's desk. The only problem is that three women share the same office. The girls have their work cut out for them along with their due date approaching rapidly and it's still winter. Fantastic story.
Love this whole series! This whole series is just so much fun….there are four sisters who love each other, 2 smart cats, and Mr Finch….who all have “powers” and “gifts” for solving crimes and mysteries. There are also a smart chief of police, evil doers doing evil deeds, no cliffhanger endings, no graphic violence, no graphic sex (just romance), humor, and mysteries to solve. What more could you ask? So, curl up in a comfy chair with a cup of tea and a scone (recipe included) and enjoy the story. Can you solve the mystery before all is revealed?
Very repetitive and not as sharp as usual. Also, the 2 home births with people who have read a book on the subject, within minutes of each other, was just too much. In addition, the alternative suspect just turning off her phone but going to a job interview and addiction counseling was really silly and too slick. This book had too much “sweetness and light and all is well” and not enough mystery

Book 17 is another sticky-sweet charmer. The delivery of Angie's and Jenna's babies yields no surprises, from the sex to the birth order to the location. The mystery is surprisingly good, however, with plenty of tension and multiple possibilities for victims as well as miscreants. I'm interested to discover what happened to the Roseland's mother...
I love the characters and to learn more about what happens in their lives but found the story a little repetitive so they would interviews someone and then repeat what they said to the group beside that I enjoyed the story
These books are easy reads. But seriously a pregnant woman due any day goes out driving by herself in a massive snowstorm!!!!! These women are suppose to be smart, having one of the lead characters do something so stupid makes the book look bad.
Totally enjoyed it! This is a well written and has well developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
Great read. Loved returning to see the characters again and to catch up on their lives. A plot that has break-ins, murder and darkness interwoven into normal life. The two sisters are close to their due date but a call from the Chief has them offering to help. A local non-profit has been broken into. The intruder spent a long time in the building but didn't take anything. Why? As Angie and Mr Finch try to help the Chief they get the feeling that this is just the start. Another break-in, but this time violence is displayed. Not only did the intruder break just one thing in every office but a pair of handcuffs and a bullet was left on a desk. A desk in a room that three women share. But which is the target? Add in a husband that wants to get back with his ex, an employee fired for stealing and a washed up relationship. More break-ins, attacks, the death of a police officer and the whole family feeling uneasy. Is it due to the killer or the imminent births? Can they stop either? Or will things happen as they should?
This series is one of the most coziest that I follow. This episode was expected to be one of the sweetest yet. I was not disappointed in the least, however, the sudden drama (which I'm going to let you discover by yourselves,) took me by surprise.
The Roseland sisters and Mr. Finch are asked by the police to help a non-profit which was broken into in a rather unusual fashion. Using their paranormal abilities, the group senses an escalation to come and that one particular woman is the target.
The oldest sisters, twins, are eagerly awaiting their first babies. I found myself on tenterhooks the entirety of the novel as I, too, awaited the arrivals.
This book was a true suspense novel. We are kept anticipating a woman's attack and the deliveries of two babies. The character of Mr. Finch came into his own.
The ending was perfect and I practically howled with the two cats. I do love this gentle cozy murder mystery series and look forward to many more volumes to come.
This was a sad story, not only for the plot itself but for the dedication to a woman who was killed in a similar way to one of the characters, but sadly didn't make it.
Knowing the inspiration for the plot, I thought it would be easy to identify the killer but it was full of turns and even though
Yay babies!!!! I guessed the right sex of Jenna and Tom's baby
I have to admit I was crying when the babies were born and I'm not ashamed of it 😀 this story line was totally different than any others and I loved the progression the story went in. I want Mr. Finch to be my cool uncle! For some reason I was no longer getting the newsletter and I missed when this came out and I've been eagerly waiting for it. I hope there's many more to come!
Angie and Jenna are only 3 weeks from having their babies, it is the middle of winter, a snow storm is expected, and they are all involved in a mystery! This is an enjoyable Sweet Cove mystery, with lots of speculation, food, confusing clues, too many suspicious people, and great story!
I read this book in two sittings and I didn't want it to end! Angie and Jenna's due dates, wintry weather and a crazed stalker keep you reading! The mystery was well written and the family interactions, during this special time were touching. One of my favorite books in the series!
I really love this series. I don't usually like paranormal books but it is so light it's believable. I love the sisters and their husbands. It was awesome that they had their babies together. It was the highlight of the book. Can't wait until the next book comes out.
I enjoyed the author’s writing and the characters as always, but would have preferred the dedication be included at the end. In addition to revealing the mystery if one looked further, it made for a difficult read anticipating the situation.
I understand why the author chose to honor her friend. Maybe this wasn’t the right venue in this particular series.

Guess who the aggressor is, guess when this nut will attack and who will be the victim. I love this series. It keeps u interested constantly trying to solve the mystery. It’s main characters r believable if u believe in ESP. Love it! Hurry and write the next book! Jo
