Growing citrus trees is fun! But...most of us can't grow citrus trees in the ground. Once you get a deep freeze, that beautiful little orange tree you bought and planted is dead.
That's not what this book is about. This book is about growing citrus trees ANYWHERE in containers. It's about overcoming the challenges of citrus growing by using container to cultivate citrus trees and enjoying tree-ripe citrus fruit from your very own patio, deck, balcony, or garden. You CAN do this!
Guide Growing Citrus in Containers by Trey Watson starts with making you familiar with different types of citrus, the environment needed in general for them to foster, classify containers and then gradually proceeds to explain the process step by step. The sequencing is very good and significant.
Both me and my mom read this book and I’m sure she she’ll be trying to plant a citrus next. But I’m also sure that this time she won’t end up killing them. The writing is simple and language is lucid. It makes sure you follow the directions at once and at ease. Also, the bright images makes this a really refreshing read.
I absolutely enjoyed reading this and would love to read more of his books.
I really got a lot of information from this book to keep my citrus trees healthy a having a good fruit. Harvest. I have followed the recommendations and have beautiful buds growing on my trees. Time to fertilize!
