This book presents solid information about what cryptocurrencies are as well as the pros and cons of investing in them. In full disclosure, before reading this book, I already knew the basics about cryptocurrencies, the blockchain, and reasons to invest/not invest in this sector. A few years ago, I helped set up a non-profit that wanted to establish its own cryptocurrency. I also don't own bitcoin as I prefer to invest in mutual funds because I like gradual growth and stability.
That said, I also like to read about finance and re-evaluate my investments from time to time. In this book, Archer outlines the reasons why people should consider cryptocurrencies but wisely cautions against buying out of FOMO (fear of missing out). Archer presents a level-headed approach for potential investors. In short, I recommend this book for those venturing (or considering venturing) into this territory.
