Milo
My mate died in a horrible car crash the night after he claimed me. I didn’t know I was pregnant with his child until he was buried in the ground. Luckily, my brother and his family supported me through it all. Now, it’s time for me to earn my keep. I’m going back to work. Not only to earn money, but to have a social life again. Even if just during the hours I’m at my job. Because I’m nowhere near ready for another relationship. Not sure I ever will be.

Yoni
I moved to Saramto to take a paid intern position at the local news station. My first time living in such a big city. And as the time limit on my contract kept looming closer, I hoped to come across something to keep me here. Nothing did. Until I met Milo and his adorable son. Now, I want them to be mine and I have no desire to leave. But my time is drawing near. While I pray for some miracle to come along and let me stay, I must find a way to tell Milo I have to go.

Pika Omega Plus One is a sweet with knotty heat shifter mm mpreg romance. It is book three in the popular Shifter Towers Series.

This is an interesting universe. Some people are shifters, some aren't.

Milo is a Pika (a small North American rodent fluffball) shifter omega, widowed with a newborn son, and Yoni is a non-shifter Alpha who works at a local TV station.

There is a lot of angst on Milo's side. Having lost his first mate, before his child was even born, he's extremely reluctant to open his heart again, understandably, especially since nice Alphas are apparently hard to find.

Yoni is kind and considerate, and falls quickly for the omega. There's some drama with his O-father who constantly berates and basically bullies him, wanting Yoni to move back to his hometown and find a nice "suitable" omega.

The relationship develops nicely over roughly a month's time, and while that seems fast to fall in love, it's supernatural so I'm just gonna go with it.

Some medical drama, hurt feelings, and a groveling Alpha later, we get a lovely epilogue set a few years in the future.

I liked this. Will check out the other books in this series, for sure.

Pika Omega Plus One
By Jessica E. Subject

Pika shifter Milo is raising his son, Odega, after his mate passed away unexpectedly before his birth. He's not ready to consider a new relationship, but a certain non-shifter alpha, Yoni, wants to get to know him better.

This is a short and sweet story. The characters are adorable.

Gentleness is a strength. Yoni is a human Alpha who is not stereotypically macho. He works at Saramto Shifter News. Milo, widower, is a pika Omega shifter. Daniel is his deceased Alpha, Odega is his son. Daniel was killed before Milo found out he was pregnant. His older brother, Malone and his Alpha mage, Thadeus took him and the baby in. Milo, lives in the basement. Yoni and Milo met during an accident and since Yoni, felt responsible, told himself he was trying to apologize. Yoni, has been made to feel insecure by his Omega dad, who considers him not 'Alpha' enough. Milo, didn't want an Alpha who thought he could take advantage. Both of these men, carried heavy baggage. Would they put it down and accept each other as they are? Can Yoni accept Odega? Can Milo let himself feel again? Sweet story. Yoni was charming during his journey. Milo showed his strength and his vulnerabilities. Nice story! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

On his first day back at work since having his son omega Milo encounters Alpha Yoni.
Omega Milo had been claimed by Alpha Daniel then the alpha died in an accident the next day and buried before Milo realized he was pregnant. He now lived with his brother Malone his Alpha Thadeus and their daughters. He is going back to work to try and pay his way but on his first day back the person in charge puts him on all the nasty jobs rather than dealing with the customers that he used to do. As he is filling some low shelves he feels a hot liquid on his back. Alpha Yoni takes a break from his job at Saramto Shifter News Network to go to NJ Fresh Foods for a sandwich and some soup. Not watching where he is going he trip over an employee and spills his hot soup over his back.

This was very sweet romance between an Omega shifter and an Alpha. Yoni is a very sweet alpha who found his match in Milo...Milo is a newly single father who lost his Alpha. Milo is scared to get involved again with an Alpha but when Yoni comes into his life he sees there is a chance or happiness again. He is able to share his life with his son with another person. Yoni isn't that stereotypical alpha (arrogant, cocky, bossy...dominant to the extreme)you mostly read about but that doesn't take away from him being what most would want in their mate...he got all the qualities...hands down. Their romance is so sweet. I really loved reading this book. What a wonderful HEA between two lovely guys.

I enjoyed this cute, fun story, especially the way Milo finally told Randall off. It's mostly low angst until Yoni drops the communication ball and Milo closes in to protect his heart. Fortunately Milo's son has already bonded with Yoni, which get him a chance to try and win back Milo's heart. It would have been nice to see Milo's reaction to Yoni's fathers' anti-shifter prejudice and resistance to Yoni courting a widowed omega father. A bit of tension and drama existed there that was just swept away as a done deal in the final chapter. I enjoyed the idea of a pika shifter. Having spent some time hiking in the Colorado Rockies, I knew exactly the creature the author was talking about. Very cute.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I feel like I spent more time reading about Yoni's stories for his work and Milo's time at work than I did about Yoni's and Milo's relationship. Just an observation.

This was an adorable story and I just loved all the kids! (As always!) I really thought the list of names that Yoni's dad had gotten from the guys at church was going to be the conflict, BUT... I was wrong! 🤔

For such short stories, this has been an interesting series and I am jumping straight into His Omega on Stage!

Milo’s husband died in a car crash before he found out that he was pregnant. His brother and his husband helped him get on his feet and with his son. He went back to because he had to so he could be independent for them. Yoni dumped hot soup on Milo when he tripped over him but he kept apologizing for a couple of times and asking for his number. Yoni loved both Milo and his son after their first date, he took the time for both of them. Having problems with his father and finally got them taken care of. They got married and had a little girl and a great ending for them. New author to try and not disappointed will be looking for more of her books.

Milo and his son Odega live with Milo's brother and family. Milo lost his alpha in a car accident the day after he was claimed. On Milo's first day back to work at the NJ Fresh Food center he meets Yoni. Yoni is a alpha who works as a news correspondent, hoping to get a permanent position. Yoni accidentally spilled some soup down Milo's back. Yoni worked on the report for the Childrens Festival, a fundraiser for the local childrens hospital. Yoni would be working a shift at the Childrens Festival. Milo runs into Yoni at the Childrens Festival and gets a flower on his face. Yoni meets Milos son.

This was a really sweet and cute insta love shifter story. The omega was a pica shifter and the Alpha was a human, so they both came from different worlds. The omega lost his mate not long ago, leaving him a single dad and a broken heart. Never did milo think he would find love again until Yoni came along turning his whole world upside down in the best way. A few mistundertsandings happen that makes Milo doubt everything again but both characters are able to over come it find their HEA in the end. The story flowed nicely and the characters were very sweet together.

I absolutely loved reading this book, I loved Yoni and Milo. Both were strong characters who had had some obstacles to get through before they met each other, which made them more realistic characters to relate to. Like all of these stories, there is always some reason for a little bit of heartbreak before they happily ever after happens, you will find that in the story as well. The storyline is strong and it flows easily, I thoroughly enjoyable book.

Milo was alone without his alpha raising his son. He had the help of his brother and his mate. Yoni came into his life just as he started working. They were very slowly getting to know each other. After Yoni claimed him he disappeared. He came back and explained why he was gone. They got together and had a daughter.

Reading through this story was so easy. It was a sweet romance that left your heart just feeling good. A tiny bit of drama, enough to keep the pages turning, a whole lot of sweetness that made you smile and finally a nice happily ever after with babies. Babies make everything wonderful.

Milo's mate died before their baby boy was born. If it wasn't for Milo's brother and his brother's mate help he doesn't know what he would of done. Yoni is working as a paid intern at the local news station. When he meets Milo he knows he the one but Mjlo is afraid to love again. I really enjoyed this book.

Only one real intimate scene but plenty of dates. Parental preference was pretty normal. Love wins out over the turmoil

Yoni was a sweet yet considerate. His dates were always well planned out and he didn’t hold back from spoiling Milo or Odega. These family moments were precious and heart warming to watch.

Yoni and Milo had good chemistry but the lack of heat between the two was disappointing.
