Poorly written smut, basically no ABO traits in the story other than using the words alpha and omega

This was horrible I couldn't finish the main character was a spineless push over who had absolutely no self worth. The guys were idiots and total a-holes I didn't like anything about this book. When the girl convinced her she needed to run from the Alphas that's when I quit. I don't know how this author thought this story was worthy of being a romance...I was blown away when the leading lady was right in the middle of being deflowered and Trevor actually started comparing her to some other virgin he had been with in the past. I was like seriously if I was her I would have been up and out of there so fast! That was so not sexy or romantic. Then when she decided to spend lunch with her friend and she had neglected to tell them immediately that she was pregnant, they had the nerve to tell her she was theirs and she should pretty much spend all her time focusing on them and that they were going to have to punish her for keeping the secret from them about the baby. I was so mad after reading that I knew I was done with this mess of a book.

Characters: ⭐ flat and unmemorable
What's sexier than a scorpion shifter, the FMC? Almost anything.
MFC is an omega, virgin, has poor self esteem and skewed view of herself and that is her whole personality.
4 MMC - Jaguar (playboy), Boar (her favorite), Wolf (BDSM dominant/sadist) and something (not memorable) are alphas of their species packs? Obviously the most wanted males and they run a cooperative company that employs multiple shifter species. Nobody should name a MMC Simon because all I thought about was "Simon says".
Plot: ⭐ basic - pack life and shifting is hardly mentioned.
Downtrodden shy FMC works for company MMCs own and is overlooked with low self esteem. MMCs throw an archaic mating ball where they must dance with all the women present and choose contenders for a trial period of 9 months then marry one. MMCs all choose FMC who is in denial about why they want her, she resists but quickly falls for them partly because of her unsupportive, borderline emotionally abusive parents. Dominant alpha refuses to do anything with her because she is too experienced for his tastes. FMC runs away because she is pregnant and a jealous bully tells her any child would be shunned because of who the mother is, reunion with MMCs and then I dnf. Alpha/Beta/Omega designation seems unimportant and pack life is absent.

Kind of repetitive and meh.

I love omega verse books but this was just not it. Our main character rosemary as zero self worth and I get not loving yourself and feeling bad about yourself but this was an entirely new level of that. The four alphas are just assholes who don’t listen to any of Rosemary’s insecurities they just brush them off as in her head and over reactions. Simon one of the alphas is supposed to bring this big dom energy but honestly he was pathetic the most Dom thing he does is anal which like to me is ehhhh not really that kinky. The smut that is in the book is basic and not well written at all. It’s rushed and mostly just fade to black scenes which is not how this book was advertised. None of these characters had any development at all they were all 1 dimensional characters. I wasn’t rooting for any of these characters at all. Then you had pregnancy which is not a trope I hate but when all four of the “alphas” get pissed because rosemary didn’t tell them she was pregnant immediately they were all pissy and decided she needed to be punished. Other than the terms Omega and Alpha being used I wouldn’t say this is the omega verse and I would skip this book.

Not a dark romance
The book was an easy read but nothing overly exciting happened - the prologue was basically a synopsis and could’ve ended there. There was potential in the story but it just wasn’t executed that well - it felt like a lot of fade to black, or explaining what happened rather than describing a scene and fleshing out the story.
MC was hard to relate to and all ‘conflict’ was resolved too quickly. If you’re here for the smut or the dark romance then then I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I have been reading this series and I must say I love everyone of them so far.the story is awesome the way she is so shy at first but it doesn’t take her long to come out of her shell. Her mother is a rude mother who is always saying derogatory things to her and making it hard for her to believe in herself.but the Alpha’s help her be more confident and secure. Then you have the jealous co-worker that makes her run away with their baby.but in the end they get there HEA together with there baby

A Very Different Approach
This book is very different than the others in this series. The FMC is a bit of a neurotic mess throughout the book but justifiably so. The poor girl has the most unsupportive parents possible.
If anything the way their relationship is depicted they seem positively dysfunctional, but to be fair everything within in the story is exaggerated to produce dramatism. I’ve read all of the books in this series and this book is in last place.

Definitely a naughty little story. One omega never thought anyone would want her. But when four alphas turn their attention on her she will learn what it is to submit. The story does get very hot at a times as this is a reverse harem story. The alphas and omega are shifters but it actually doesn’t play a huge role into the story. But I find the animal she shifts into very different and cool.

The power Dynamic was so horribly off if it was hard to read girls like 20 all the dudes are in their 30s they're her boss when she says she's uncomfortable with something they just don't give really care. Rosemary goes to the mating ball so that 4 alphas, who happen to be her bosses, can choose a mate. They all pick her to her surprise as well as the surprise of everyone else attending. Rosemary has self esteem issues and has to also contend with jealous co-workers and a mean mom. Lots of sexy times but a bit light on story.

It was okay. To be so short you’d think there would’ve been more action. The sex scenes are subpar and with four guys she doesn’t even get anal. There’s only one real scene with all of them. Nothing to write home about.

Out of the books in this series that i have read i really loved this one. I picked it up to read a bit before bed and ended up reading the whole dang thing. I just couldn't puff it down. Hope the best one is just as good.

First why give the ending in the prologue? Yeah most books end in a happily ever after but don’t give it all up on the first page.

Decent palate cleanser. Pretty fast paced book with some cringe to it. But not bad for a quick easy read that isn't going to be mentally exhausting.. Wouldn't be my first recommendation to anyone.. but certainly not the worst book I've read.

This was a very enjoyable story to read. You get to meet these awesome characters and you go through their emotions of awe, love, passion, loss, frustration and more.
Rosemary is a scorpion shifter. She is very shy, mainly because her mother always talked down to her and belittled her her entire life. She did great in school, got a great college education with great grades, but wouldn't apply herself because of her low self-esteem and worth. She ended up with a minimum wage job working for the shifter headquarters. She knew who the alphas were, but didn't expect anyone to know who she was. She never had any friends growing up, girlfriends or boyfriends but started to befriend the girl in the next cubicle. She talked Rosemary into going to the Mate Ball. The four Alphas, who have been friends forever, are all having their Mate Ball at the same time. They invite all the single females who want to be in the running to be their mate. They dance two minutes with each Alpha and at the end of the Ball, the Alphas each read a list of the females they will date until they choose who they want as their mate. They must mate within 9 months of the Ball. Rosemary goes, after her friend does her hair and make-up and a borrowed dress. She faints after she has danced with the last Alpha. At the end of the Ball, they each chose just one female, and of course since they do everything together, they all chose the same girl, Rosemary. They didn't plan it that way and they hadn't discussed it, it was just the way it was.
Lawrence the boar alpha, Grayson the bull alpha, Trevor the jaguar alpha, and Simon the timber wolf alpha, have been friends forever. They waited until Lawrence finally assended to Alpha of the boars, when they decided to have their Mate Ball. They all work at the same company which is all shifters, dealing with shifter matters. They all went around and introduced Lawrence to each and every employee. Of course, they all knew Rosemary by name and spoke with her the longest. It wasn't much of a shock to them when they all chose Rosemary as the only one they were interested in for their Mate. Now they have to convince her that it wasn't a joke, they mean every word, and want a chance to get to know her better and her to know them better too. Of course, when they announced her name at the Ball, with her being so shy and unknown, the shifter newspapers had to go crazy and wrote all sort of junk and were hounding her to get information. There were also many people, including Rosemary's mother, who kept saying that they would dump her and find a more fitting female since Rosemary was a nothing nobody.
It was great to be able to watch Rosemary bloom into the woman she was always meant to be when she got positive reinforcement from her Alphas and wasn't poisoned by others negative comments.

Rosemary worked for Lawrence and was an Omega. Her friend Meredith talks her into going to the mating ball. It seemed that the Alphas were all after mates, it might be fun to go and see who their choices were. Meredith even promised to dress and make her up for the night like a modern day fairy godmother as if Rosemary was Cinderella but she had promised to go now.
Even Rosemary was surprised by her reflection in the mirror maybe Meredith was a fairy godmother after all. SO once they got to the ball each eligible female was to dance one dance with each of the Alphas then at the end of the night the alphas would call out the short list to go to the next level to find their mates.
Dancing with the Alphas was like heaven for Rosemary and she felt sad that they would find their mates because she didnt think she stood a chance so imagine her surprise when each Alpha only had one name on their short list. One name that was the same on each of the Alphas list ROSMARY!!!!
Now Rosemary must get to know the alphas and see if this could work. The females around her hated her they felt cheated out of their chance to mate an Alpha.
