Another “mad scientist” trope with a little added sleaze for fun. A quick read with a narrative that moves along nicely. The ending seemed rushed and thrown together and you still never really get any closure.

Still definitely worth your time if you like gothic settings and sleazy weirdness. The cover art and the writing has the feeling of being a gap between the “classy” horror fiction to the more pulpy stuff of the ‘80s.
