MIA.It was so close, I'd tasted it–the freedom. But the only thing I could taste now was the end. Over the last two years, I’d let all outside forces dictate my life, my feelings, my head. I’d allowed everyone to control what my punishment should be for all my wrong-doings. I’d been tested and learned my lesson.I’d paid my dues and suffered long enough. Because in the end, even the once-upon-a-damned deserved to be happy too.OLLIE.How far are you willing to go? I’d asked myself this very question countless times. But never in my wildest dreams thought I’d go back in time,chasing ghosts from my past for a chance to save our future.So, there was no limit. No boundaries. I’d cross time, the world, my morals. Yes, I’d even double-cross myself.So, how far would I go? The answer had always been simple.I’d go an eternity plus a day past crestfallen.

“forget her? impossible. mia rose flowed through me, inked across every page of my soul which made me whole. did he not know you couldn’t unread a book? if there was a chance, i’d find it. i’d want to read her over and over as if it were the first time all over again.”
~~~are you kidding me🥹🦋
i. will. never. be. the. same. this book, although my least favorite of the series, was still so good. there’s really nothing i can say about why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because i refuse to spoil anything. book three was definitely a journey. plot twists that i didn’t see coming. the first 35% of the book is part of the reason for my rating. it made me upset, but was still interesting to read because i had no idea what was going to happen. this one definitely had my anxiety going…had my heart racing a mile a minute. i’m still trying to recover😩
♡ my final thoughts on the trilogy:
this trilogy instantly became one of my favorites. as a whole…it’s infinity stars for me🤭it had been on my tbr for a year before i decided to finally read it and let me tell you…i wish i had done it sooner. these books were written so beautifully, probably some of the most beautifully written books i’ve ever read. ollie and mia’s unforgettable story touched my soul. i’m having a hard time saying goodbye to these characters…it’s what i hate most about finishing a series. it’s why i’ve delayed putting this review up. it’s why i’m sobbing rn😞i 10/10 recommend reading this trilogy, but again…please search up trigger warnings. the last book wasn’t too bad and i listed the heavy trigger warnings for books 1 and 2 on my reviews for them<3
♡ oliver masters:
my ollie. my sweet, sweet ollie. the poet. the man who was thrown into a reformatory college for feeling too much. the man who wasn’t loved enough as a child…who was abused by his mother and brother, but still turned out to be the man of my dreams. if i had a dollar for every time this man gave me butterflies and made me smile, swoon, blush, giggle, scream, cry happy tears, etc…i’d be the richest person alive🙈everything that came out of this man’s mouth was beautiful…like i want his words tattooed all over my body. if he were a star in the sky…he’d shine the brightest. my love, need, want, and obsession for this man will never go away. he flooded my entire heart, soul, and mind<3
♡ mia jett:
ollie’s love. his girl. the three letter word that sounds better than poetry according to ollie🥹the woman who was thrown into a reformatory college for feeling nothing at all. the woman who couldn’t escape her past no matter how hard she tried. one of the strongest women i know. i adore this woman, i do. there were times where she made me fume…but no one’s perfect and this trilogy really reminds you of that.
♡ ollie & mia:
the fire to her ice. the light to her dark. these two are the absolute definition of made for each other. no one can convince me otherwise. my babies went through so much. cruel things that neither one of them deserved. my heart bleeds for them. i’m in love with the way they love each other🥹their love is so strong that even though i’m in a relationship…i felt SINGLE reading about them. does that even make sense!? at this point i feel like their love is indescribable and you besties just need to read about them to understand how i feel😩
♡ favorite scenes:
scene #1:
“i’d say here is perfect.”
her brow arched high in the air. “perfect for what?”
“teaching you how to defend yourself.”
“ollie…”
“i debated on taking you to a gym this morning and have some other bloke teach you because i’m not a fighter—“
“bullshit.”
i chuckled. “you think i’m a fighter?”
“you’ve been fighting for me for two years. you’re a fighter, ollie.”
the truth was, i could fight, but never wanted to be the one to fight her. i had no idea if i could go through with this, putting my hands on her in ways i never wanted. “yeah, i suppose when i have the right motivation. anyway, are you willing to learn?”
“no.”
her reaction set me off, and i stepped forward. “i’ve promised you over and over again that i’d protect you, but i’ve been doing it all wrong. start fighting back, mia. you said a week ago, crying in my arms, how you hated how weak you were, how angry you were, how you never wanted to depend on anyone. well, here is your chance.” i raised my palms in the air. “what are you going to do with it?”
“is this why you brought me here? to teach me to fight?”
“to defend yourself,” i corrected her.
“this is stupid.”
mia turned to walk away.
“stupid?” i asked her back, and mia turned around. “i bet you feel stupid when ethan grabbed you and knocked you out. when you were tied up for days in that cabin, or should i remind you about the prankster, mia? nice nickname, by the way. hardly a fucking prankster.”
“stop!”
“how did you feel? because i felt like a tosser for not teaching you this before. that i didn’t give you every tool necessary to protect yourself when i can’t be there. every day, it tears me up inside. every scar on your body is a reminder that i’ve failed you. i’m not doing that this time, mia. i’m fighting for you, but you have to fight for yourself, too.” mia shoved me in the chest, but i wasn’t backing down. “are you getting mad, love?”
“why are you doing this?”
“because i fucking love you.”
she went to hit me, and i snatched her wrist, spun her around, and slammed her back into my front, my chest heaving. “you always step with your left foot when you come at me. you’re predictable and slow.”
“i’m not doing this with you.” she jerked her arm out of my grasp and walked away, but i grabbed her hips and yanked her back to my chest. i was asking for it, and if i wasn’t careful, this could be grounds to never trust me again. but it was a risk worth taking.
after a brief struggle, i secured her wrists in one hand and pushed her against the tree. my entire weight pressed against her, and my other palm covered her mouth. her silent tears fell over my hand, but i couldn’t stop. not now. i was already too far in. “if someone comes at you from behind,” i continued in her ear, “use the other hand and go for my face—for my eyes.”
~~~she starts fighting back and ollie shows her different scenarios and how to get out of them. she becomes stronger and braver~~~
returning in front of her, i wrapped my hand around her throat to move onto the next move. loose strands fell from her ponytail, framing her face. mia’s rapid pulse in her neck tapped religiously against my grip, her chest rising and falling in quick breaths. her glassy brown eyes locked on mine weakened me, and my hand relaxed from around her throat. i couldn’t do it. putting my hands on her in this way was hard enough, and i wished i’d just taken her to the gym.
“keep going,” she challenged me.
“i can’t. i thought i could, but i can’t.”
mia lifted my hand and placed it back on her throat. “what do i do next?”
sucking in a breath, i pinched the bridge of my nose with my other hand.
“ollie, i trust you,” mia whispered. “what do i do next?”
“all right.” i ran a palm down my face and adjusted my hat. “you have a few options. first, you always want to drop your chin to your chest as soon as you feel a hand on your throat. give them as little access as you can. you could grab my wrist with a free hand and yank it down. you could twist your body, throwing this arm up and over to use your elbow to snap connection. or you could lift your knee and jab into my groin. it depends if your attacker is using one hand to your throat, both hands, or has you on the ground.” mia nodded, and i continued, “go ahead, try one or a combination. but not the groin. i plan to give you children one day. three of them, remember?”
~~~sorry this was so long, but this scene was everything to me omg and it continues and gets hotter😋🙈🦋
scene #2:
“you bought a house?”
“yeah, love, i bought you a house. a home. we have a home, always.”
~~~short little scene, but an unforgettable one. oh and in that house…he made the attic a dark room for her photography. ladies never settle.

scene #3:
mia blew past us like a child, and i shook my head and held out my hand.
“what did you do?” bruce asked with a laugh.
“only love her. too much, apparently.”
~~~another short scene, but a little context…mia and ollie had an argument and i swear…i’d argue with this man any day because even the way he argues is beautiful.
scene #4:
when i arrived back home, i walked through the front door to the sound of dishes clanking in the kitchen, and the aroma of a home-cooked meal flooded my senses. the record player in the living room was playing soft tones of an acoustic guitar. i empty my pockets on my way, dropping my keys, phone, and wallet over the coffee table before i’d reached the kitchen. mia was still in her little black romper, barefoot, pulling a casserole dish from the oven. my shoulder rested against the archway into the kitchen, and my eyes rested on her.
mia’s hips swayed as she waved a rag over the steam coming from the dish to the beat of the song.
she cooked. mia rose cooked, and i was bloody impressed. since we moved in, we’d survived on takeout. she gathered her hair in one hand and pulled it off her shoulders, admiring her work. her head tilted, and i watched from behind with a cheeky smile as her palm rested on her hip, leaning into it.
“marry me,” i whispered from behind.
mia jumped and spun around. her hand slammed against her chest as she let out a breath when our eyes locked. a smile emerged from the fear, and she shook her head. “i’m already marrying you, you idiot.”
i grabbed her hips, lifted her in the air, and set her over the counter. “i’m asking for the life after this one,” i leaned between her legs, and her arms hung off my shoulders, “because i’ll always choose you. above all else, i’ll choose you in every lifetime.”
~~~oh my GODDDDDD😩🦋

#5:
mia jumped in front of another tree, “this one!”
the tree had half the height and half the life, but it would fit. i walked toward her. “you’re sure? this is the one you want?”
mia bounced on her toes, the daylight dying. “yes, now let’s go.” she blew hot air into her hands and pulled her coat tighter around her. "it's bloody cold out here."
i chuckled. “stick with your accent, love. the only british in you is me.”
~~~i’m sat. them picking out a christmas tree together was so cute and ollie is just so effortlessly hot.
#6:
“have you read the poetry, mia?” white teeth dug into her bottom lip as her eyes locked on mine. slowly, she shook her head, and my other hand came up to graze her jawline and down the base of her neck, despite the amount of pain coursing through me.
"my love for you bleeds into those pages. i write because i can't contain my feelings for you, but i publish because i want the entire world to know a love like ours exists." her breath shuddered, and my thumb moved over her bottom lip. “it gives people hope, something to believe in. something to never stop searching for.”
“will you read to me tonight? you know, if you’re up for it.”
i smiled. “i couldn’t think of anything else i’d rather do.”
~~~this man wrote a book filled with poetry about her and then reads it to her…i simply cannot handle it. this is too beautiful.

#7:
“alright, i get it. i get it, oliver.”
flashes of mia and i went off like fireworks in my head. the first time our eyes met in the mess hall, her small smile in the bathroom when we first talked, the late-night rendezvous’, chasing her in the library, reading to her, the lovemaking, the fighting for each other, the tears, her golden eyes, the paper roses, the dancing, the stars, the sunrises, proposing, our drunken nights, the wedding…falling into this maddening love that stayed forever and ever…
“no,” i wiped my face into my sleeve and cocked my head, “you don’t fucking get it.”
and i pulled the trigger.
~~~OOOOOO YALL ARE GONNA HAVE TO READ TO UNDERSTAND THIS SCENE. trust me, my review seems all happy and perfect, but it’s my way of convincing you guys to read this trilogy…y’all will be surprised with the rest of the stuff that happens throughout this series…mwah! you’re welcome🤭
♡ favorite quotes:
- “i know you like a book, love.”
- “the girl was a design, a form of art. painters, musicians, nor novelists could capture or mimic the way she lit galaxies beneath my flesh or make my heart beat to the tune of ‘river flows in you’. even the most talented would be jealous of the way she moved like paint across my skin into my bloodstream. for over two years, i’d poured her through every line, word, and syllable of poetry, but could never get it just right. an absolute wonder.” ugh his thoughts about her are everything to me🥹🥹
- “i could write an entire book on her eyes, her smile, her kiss, her lips, the way she made me feel, and how all the men in the world combined couldn't compare to her strength.” what i’d give for ollie to write a book about me…😩
- “i wanted her to fall apart. i wanted her to fall on me. with every struggling piece of her, i was ready.”
- “i know you, i know you as if i wrote you myself.”
- “you’re absolutely breathtaking.” 😭🦋pls.
- “you are my sunrise, love.”
- “i promise always to be the man worthy of every second spent in your presence. to be worthy of your smiles, triumphs, kisses, and yes, even tears. thank you for making the dreamer in me never want to sleep again.”
- “it’s you and me, evermore.”
- “now, love. now, open your eyes.”
An awesome ending to Ollie and Mia’s soul stirring story!
This book was another great addition to the Ollie and Mia heart wrenching emotion filled true love/soul mates story. As readers of this series we have known from the very beginning that they were drawn to each other like neither has ever been drawn to anyone before. Mia thought she was a sociopath and couldn’t have feelings until she started to feel something for Ollie. Ollie had times when he would be with any woman that was available.
However, once Ollie and Mia saw each other, they were bound together. Though they had bad times when Ollie was put back on his medication and he would completely change and forget his love for Mia and he would completely ignore her. His hypersensitivity sometimes made him act out when he was feeling too much emotions from himself and other people and couldn’t handle it and the people at Dolar responded by medicating him. Though the medication did keep him calm, it blocked all emotions so he wasn’t himself.
When you think about it, how can he ever learn to live in the real world and prepare to handle all the emotions of people on a day to day basis if they medicate him at Dolar to keep him calm? That is where he should have been learning, but it took quite a while to get off the medication. During that time Mia had become friends with Ethan, the Security Guard at Dolar. Though he never told her that he was hired by her biological father, Lynch who runs Dolar. She still thinks her father is the guy in New York who she grew up with.
Ethan told her about his sister Livy but he never told her that he was also here to get revenge on the four boys who raped her, killing her and her baby and framing her boyfriend for the murder. Ethan has been slowly killing them off one by one and making them look like suicides.
This book has the same types of ups and downs that the first two books had. Of course Ollie and Mia can’t have an easy life together. Graduation day from Dolar comes and goes and their plans to move in together don’t go as they expected. I won’t give away spoilers except to say that it is a wild ride. Mia is still trying to find her place in the world and Ollie knows exactly what he wants but just can’t seem to get things to work out right.
I totally loved every minute of this book. It was full of suspense, steam and romance. When I saw that one of the upcoming books is about Ethan, I can’t wait! I love books about killers that fall in love! I loved this series so I just want more!
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
Now Open Your Eyes is the conclusion to the Stay With Me trilogy by Nicole Fiorina.
Even When I'm Gone, left us hanging off a cliff in a completely different way than it's predecessor, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book to see how everything would play out!
Above all, I just hoped I would enjoy it after loving the previous books so much, and overall, I did. NOYE had the same fantastic writing, action, suspense, and steam we've come to expect from this author.
Ollie and Mia have been through so much since they first met. Scars from their pasts, betrayals, multiple deaths, assault, separation, and kidnapping are just part of the trials they faced separately and together. Every step of the way, they repaired the cracks in each other's hearts as well as their own. By the end of the final book, I couldn't help but marvel at how far they had come.
These are two characters I know I'll never forget. I'm so glad we got to see them grow as a couple as well as individuals. The Ollie and Mia from book 3 are vastly different from the people they were in book 1. It actually took some getting used to for me in this book, but in the end, they are exactly where I hoped they would be.
New adult romance fans, this one's for you!
FIVE DEBUT STARS for Mia and Ollie 💖💙!!!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I went completely blind into this trilogy and it was one of my best decisions I've ever made because these books are EVERYTHING.
I can't say I was the whole time happy with the decisions that characters did make but that is the beauty of a good book worth reading and your time.
"Now Open Your Eyes" is a new adult romance book that will absolutely wreck your world.
Mia and Ollie's relationship is the real roller coaster because one second they are together and everything is perfect and the other they are not and everything going to apart.
And that's my favorite part of all three books because Nicole didn't give us a fairytale.
She gave us a story with a lot of emotions that will make you cry and smile but also it will make you angry.
This is a story about two broken people that will show you if you fight with your heart and soul, you'll get your happily ever after, even that sometimes it seems impossible.
If you're looking for a unique romantic story with so much more, then you MUST READ THIS TRILOGY!!!
Highly recommended!!!
P.S. I can't wait to see what incredible story Nicole will write the next!
let’s act like ollie and mia’s story ended last book k?? great!!!
i don’t even want to write a review, i’ll just say, the “i need to stand on my own two feet” thing mia had going on could’ve easily been written in the second book. The only scene I liked here was the wedding which could’ve been added as an epilogue in the second book. This could’ve been an awesome duet and I’ll always think of this as a duet.
This book?? doesn’t exist for me 💗
(i’m maybe being too harsh, it’s not THAT bad, but it’s disappointing as fuck and i’m upset)
p.s. maybe i’ll read ethan’s book. we’ll see.
”You can lose your mind, Mia, but you’re never losing me.”
I think everyone who follows me here or on Instagram knows that I think that Nicole Fiorina is a great talent when it comes to writing. Her books are without a doubt filled with characters who will make you feel all of the feels and situations that may make you cringe, but will also make you think, “damn she went there.” She doesn’t hold back and she writes with her whole being, and I appreciate the hell out of that. Well. NOYE was no exception to those opinions. Her talent for writing and weaving a story drips from the pages, and you can’t help but root for even the most damaged characters in this story. Mia & Ollie’s story wraps up perfectly in my opinion, and you will end with a smile on your face.
All that said, I can’t help but feel a bit like this book was a 90 degree turn from the first two books. Is it completely different? No, because Ollie and Mia are very much a focus, but they feel very peripheral. I obviously can’t say too much, because I don’t want to spoil the experience for others, but yeah. My thoughts are as follows. I understand that we had two whole books dedicated to them and their struggles to find self and love, but I felt like the focus in this story was like the action and suspense of Ollie’s “other life” as I like to call it. Which is fine, it’s fine. It just didn’t work 100% for me. It’s a great story, and as I said before the ending makes up for any disappointment I feel, but I do feel that disappointment and it’s why I can’t rate this story higher. It just feels a little disjointed from the other two books.
All that aside, you bet your ass I will continue to pick up this authors work. It’s unexpected and fresh, and I can’t wait to see what else she publishes!
The entire series is available now!
I love a well written flawed and imperfect character. The imperfections and disorders facing the two MC’s made me fall in love with these two and the story…. before this one. To put it bluntly this book was utter bullshit. It feels completely detached from the first two and all that made them so wonderful. At the end of book two Ollie and Mia are finally free from their years at a reformatory college. Both have grown and dealt with so much during their time there that I was really looking forward to their adapting as adults on their own in the free world. Sadly this became an almost nonexistent part of the book and instead some ridiculous plot lines were thrown into the mix and made everything too messy and annoying. It really saddens me how much I did not like this book. The book was a struggle to get through and I don’t even feel satisfied that it’s over because I still feel so lost. I still don’t have an understanding of who the new Ollie and Mia are 🤷🏼‍♀️I can’t even be sure I like these characters anymore and I still wonder why it all feels so disconnected from the first two books, and not just because of the new change of life on the outside for them both. How is this part of the same series, I just don’t get it and I’m so bummed?!? Most of this book was unnecessary drama and I almost wished I skipped it and just went directly to the epilogue. All that crap in between did nothing but enrage me and make me need my own kind of therapy.
Now Open Your Eyes
⭐️⭐️⭐️
!I advice to check the trigger warnings!
Ok so something felt off from the start, it didn't feel like the same characters anymore. Personally, I think this was a complete waste of time and an unnecessary addition to the series, it could have easily stayed as a duet. I'm going to pretend it was only two books because I didn't like this one at all. If he actually died at the end after getting shot I'd rate this 1 star. The epilogue made up for everything this book fucked up. I'm definitely in denial and bitter about it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 𝓞𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓡𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰: Now Open Your Eyes , is book three of the Stay With Me Series and the conclusion to the epic love story of Ollie and Mia by Nicole Fiorina . You will need to read Stay with Me as well as Even When I'm Gone before reading Now Open Your Eyes. This series has completely owned my, heart, mind, and soul since Fiorina first messaged me about reading Stay With Me. Five stars aren’t nearly enough stars to rate the dramatic conclusion that is, Now Open Your Eyes.
NOYE picks up right where EWIG left off. After everything Ollie and Mia have been through, in Now Open Your Eyes, they are both finally out of Dolor. They still have a long way to go to get their happily ever after, but through all the heartache, the drama, and the danger… Ollie and Mia’s love continues to withstand any and every obstacle.
I have somewhat of a fear of reading duets and trilogies, especially when book one is as heartbreaking and as emotional as Stay With Me was. As most readers know, the rest of the duet or trilogy usually doesn’t quite match up to that first heart wrenching, soul-sucking book. That is NOT the case AT ALL with the Stay With Me Series.
❝𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑒𝑟ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑠 𝑛𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑎𝑛𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟. 𝑖𝑡'𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼'𝑣𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑜𝑢𝑏𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑐.❞
Every single one of these books, every single one of these chapters, every single one of these paragraphs, every single one of these pages, and every single one of these words has evoked such emotion in me that I never knew a book was quite capable of evoking. I can’t even describe to you the way I felt while reading the conclusion of Ollie and Mia’s story. It’s something you have to experience for yourself.
❝𝑀𝑖𝑎 ℎ𝑎𝑑 𝑎𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑙𝑒𝑛 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑠 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑜𝑒𝑡’𝑠 𝑚𝑜𝑢𝑡ℎ, 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑢𝑝 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑘𝑦.❞
As soon as the ARC of NOYE hit my Kindle, I dropped everything and dove in. I literally had to MAKE myself put it down soo many times because I just didn’t want it to end. And the closer we got to that ending… the more I struggled. That ending… it left me breathless. I now know how Mia and Ollie’s story ends. And I still can’t even think about it, much less talk about it without my heart skipping a beat.
❝𝐼’𝑚 𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑎𝑓𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑒, 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝐼’𝑙𝑙 𝑎𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢. 𝐴𝑏𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑒𝑙𝑠𝑒, 𝐼’𝑙𝑙 𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑖𝑛 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒.❞
Fiorina, I’ve said it before and I will say it again, BRAV-FREAKIN-O! You, my dear, are an astounding, absolutely fucking phenomenal, one of a kind author. You have brought Ollie, Mia, and all of these characters (even the ones I don’t particularly care for) to life for me. The poeticness of the way you write your words and this story… I just, I continue to be amazed by every single word. There is not a doubt in my mind that you won’t continue to do amazing things and releasing amazing words, and I’ll be right there one-clicking every single one of them.
❝𝐻𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑒𝑡𝑟𝑦, 𝑀𝑖𝑎?❞
I will NEVER forget the story of Ollie, Mia, and their Evermore. I am extremely sad to see their story end BUT, it looks like Ethan will be getting his own story next and I must admit I’m VERY intrigued to see where Fiorina takes his character next. I recommend and will be recommending this book and the Stay With Me Series for years to come.
💙 (𝓗) 𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓸: Oliver ‘Ollie’ Masters. I fell in love with Ollie in Stay With Me, I continued to love him in Even When I’m Gone when he could barely love himself, and I gave him my whole heart in Now Open Your Eyes. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 𝓢𝓽𝓮𝓪𝓶 𝓕𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓸𝓻: Ollie and Mia’s chemistry and the connection they share is absolutely magical. Their love is indescribable, although Ollie tries his hardest to put it into words through his poetry. When I think of soulmates, I think of Mia and Ollie. There is no other word for the two of them. It never ceases to amaze me how absolutely devoted these two are to one another. I have never, in all my years of reading romance, read about two characters with a connection as deep and as REAL as Mia and Ollie’s.
Ollie and Mia did not feel ollie and Mia from the first book, from sweet poetry love story to whole gangster mafia it didn't fit the story, and the Stockholm syndrome what was that
why was that necessary?
they all act differently it's not the same characters I fell for
I'm going to pretend olie and Mia escape and live happily after
the third book was not for me
the first one will always be special 🥹
How do I give a series infinite stars?
**review for entire series ahead. might go back and review the others at some point**
**also might include some slight spoilers below? slight? but still if you want the full experience just..beware? TWs listed at the very bottom. brief summary at the beginning. me raving about Nicole's writing then. my character evaluation after that. my takeaways at the end before TWs.**
Stay with Me : 5/5⭐️
Even When I'm Gone : 5/5⭐️
Now Open Your Eyes : 5/5⭐️
Finally in a mental state where I can write this review and not cry.
Mia and Oliver meet at Dolor University, located in the UK, in "Stay With Me". Mia overcomes her "sociopathic" tendencies, opening her heart to others around her, particularly Ollie. towards the end of SWM, Ollie is taken and forced into a difficult situation that threatens their relationship in "Even When I'm Gone". They are resilient throughout and make the final fight for their love in "Now Open Your Eyes".
Ollie and Mia's story touched the deepest part of my soul. These characters really spoke to me in a whole new way than I was used to. This could also be attributed to the writing. Nicole's talent is incredible and her writing sucks you in and speaks to you. The poetic nature of it was especially fitting considering Oliver. Her world-building transports you directly to Dolor University and to every other location mentioned, and you feel like you are truly inside of the characters when you read from their POV.
Mia and Ollie are both characters who will remain in my heart forever. I could identify with Mia in so many ways and resonate with her so strongly. We had a lot of factual things in common, like our interests and different things that we are familiar with. Ollie, however, I could relate to even more. Being an empath, I could understand a lot of his feelings, although he takes empathy to a whole new level. As someone who loves dark romance and is familiar with the morally grey, violent, and questionable men, it was different to immediately fall in love with the pure-hearted, loving, caring, poetic hero of this story. He is the ultimate book boyfriend and no one can convince me otherwise.
My feelings for the other characters in this series changed quite often. However, my love for our pure, beautiful boy Zeke never changed. He was the most innocent bright light in this, and his story broke my heart. I loved Jake, but even throughout, my feelings towards him changed. This series really had the ability to transport you into the story, and you, like the MCs, questioned everything and trusted no one (...except for Zeke <3)
In general, this series was darker than I anticipated. Both Mia and Oliver have struggled tremendously throughout their lives, and that doesn't suddenly end when they meet and fall in love. The experience trials both together and individually, but the way they always found their way back to each other proved the intensity of their love and dedication towards each other.
I have never read a more perfect ending to a series. The story took a completely different turn than I thought it would in multiple ways. Yes, I was not expecting half of what happened in this series. But the words also took a new meaning and I took so so much away from it, much more than I originally thought I would. These characters are everything. This story is everything.
Oliver and Mia's love is one that is so deep, so true, and so vulnerable. They sacrificed so much for each other and encountered terrifying situations, whether it be opening themselves up in ways they haven't before, or putting themselves directly in the line of danger. They truly fought for their happy ending. While I would love to see more from them in the future, as they are one of my top favorite book couples ever, I am also so content and happy with the ending. It felt so perfect and yes, I cried my eyes out for the entire thing.
trigger warnings below:
this story is dark. was i expecting it to be? no, not really. but it proved me wrong. please be aware of triggers: rape (including gang rape and rape of a child from their guardian), murder, violence, sexual assault and harassment, harassment of other natures, drugging, manipulation, depictions of mental disorders and suicide, gang activity, hostage situations + the fact that the majority of this story takes place at an institution for kids who deal with extreme mental disorders or are troubled and in need of reform, and involves medication for these reasons, some of which have extreme side effects
SO MANY FEELS. 😭😭❤️❤️
I have said this from the beginning of the series, but it bears repeating! It is incredible to me that the EPIC love story of Ollie and Mia is Nicole Fiorina’s DEBUT series! Her writing is so unique, beautiful and poetic. Blows me away!! Now Open Your Eyes is the third and final book in the Stay With Me Series. It is the conclusion of the incredible love story of Oliver Masters and Mia Jett. From the moment I started this book I was immediately drawn back into the story and where things were left off at the end of Even When I’m Gone. These characters pull you and grab onto your heart and don’t let go! and it is impossible to put down from the first page. My heart took a beating of epic proportions! I felt every single emotional possible. It is one roller coaster ride of love, joy, hate, heartache, pain with an ending that will leave your heart aching and so full in the very best of ways. I am in awe for what these characters have been through to get where they are. It is not an easy journey at all! They face so many obstacles and road blocks along the way. Both individually and as a couple. But what a beautiful thing seeing them navigate and fight there way through to the end. I cried so hard! Nicole touches on some tough subjects in this series but they are relevant and need to be heard. I bow down to you Nicole for being brave enough to tackle these very real issues in a romance novel/series and the incredible job you did. My words do not do it justice for how incredibly talented you are. 5 stars is not nearly enough and would rate it higher if I could.
Thank you, Nicole for the opportunity in receiving an advanced reader copy in exchange of an honest review ❤️
I would give this book all the stars if I could.
I am speechless when it comes to the incredible words of Nicole. This book was so much more than I could have imagined. It was raw, emotional, nerve wrecking, beautiful, intriguing, lovable, and so much more. I was on the edge of my seat since the very first page to the last. I had about 100 mini heart attacks because you literally feel like it’s going to end a certain way.
The beginning was so intense where it takes off from the last cliffhanger and I felt so bad for Mia. All the progress she made was slowly being taken from her. But omg I’m in love with her character!! She’s so amazing and strong! Like I love the fight and drive she has in her. She did hurt me a little bit when she gave up. It was so sad to watch.
I will forever have a soft sport for Ethan because of everything he endured, but man did he go crazy in this book. There was so many times I wanted to smack him. I am excited for his book though.
Ollie, my ollie. He’s still so beautiful. Very poetic in every sense of the word. He captives me and his charming side is literally to die for. The way he fights in this book for Mia is just incredible. His love is pure and real and he did everything in his power to bring back Mia to him. Ollie has the heart of an angel. There were so many moments that Ollie just made everything better. He killed me with that ending, just saying.
There are so many parts in the book that I want to live in forever. There’s so many poetic words I want to hold forever. I’m not ready to say goodbye to these amazing characters. I want them forever. I truly am so happy that Nicole wrote this story. This series will forever be my favorite.
Now this author will forever be my favorite. The way she pours her soul into her writing really shows. And I feel every word she’s trying to convey. It’s poetic, it’s real, it’s raw. This author was meant to write!
Now Open Your Eyes is a fantastic conclusion to the trilogy. This book takes a bit of a romantic suspense turn in more ways than one. After that huuuge cliffhanger at the end of book two, Ollie faces the fear of possibly losing the love of his life forever, and he makes some drastic choices in order to get her back, and he must deal with the consequences of his actions over the course of the entire novel. While the book started out very strong, I wasn’t as crazy about the latter half. That said, there were some shocking twists in the crime plotline, and I absolutely live for the heart-aching sweetness of Mia and Ollie’s love story.
Apparently Ethan will be getting his own love story. I can’t wait to see how the author will pull off his redemption!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS
Now Open Your Eyes took me on a journey of EPIC proportions! Nicole Fiorina's debut series is an original masterpiece... a heartbreakingly, beautifully, poetic work of art!!!
The conclusion of Mia and Ollie's is as enthralling as the first two books in the Stay With Me series. Their intense love for each other transcends distance and whatever obstacles they face that you feel it in the depths of Nicole's words.
This book and series are ones you don't want to miss, so get your copies now and enjoy the journey! Now Open Your Eyes by Nicole Fiorina will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
After reading the second book and hating it I had very low expectations for this third one, BUT it ended up being even better than the first one I'M SHOCKED.
Mia Rose Jett.. thank you.
Mia means so much to me as a character I can sometimes relate to, I just wanna give her a hug and tell her I'm PROUD because she had a beautiful, well deserved ending and she stole my heart, became my new comfort character and gave me hope. I'm so emotional rn I'm really happy for her. As for Ollie I'm glad he exits in this book and is Mia's support, I just know they wouldn't have made it out alive and well if it wasn't for each others support and love, they had healing paths and some of it they had to do alone too, Mia saved herself, Ollie saved himself but they both helped saving each other and it makes miaollie one of the most beautiful ships.
Evermore.. safe to say I'm gonna listen to Taylor's album and always think of them, the 3 of them happy together. My heart is full rn it might combust.
As for the side characters, Ethan.. I hate him since last book and I don't think it'll change. When Zeke was mentioned I started crying so bad because I know he would be so proud of his besties. I'm glad Liam and Jake are still close to Mia and Ollie, and so happy they also have a better group of friends now.
I loved this series, I obviously have some negative points to point but I already did it on the review of book two. Anyways.. I'm glad I finally read it because it's been on my tbr list for so long now and when I think about it I should have read it sooner.
“𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙣𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙚, 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚.”
miaollie you will always be famous my 10/10/2020 psych ward kids.
𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: this is a very dark themed book, it contains mentions and descriptions of sexual assault, drug and alcohol consumption, murder, violence, toxic family relationships. Please be careful and only read what makes you comfortable.
Let me start of by saying i love Nicole’s writing and there is no denying her talent.
I didn’t know what to expect from the third book. It was a bit confusing for me, it took me longer to get into it. There was so much happening and at the same time nothing. All i could think about in the beginning was that the first two books would have been enough. She could have stopped there.
Who are these characters? They seem different to me, have they changed that much or is it just the change of scenery. They are no longer confined by the walls of Dolores and now other challenges await them. Could that be the change in them?
A part of me feels like we could have done without the third book, some things just didn’t make sense to me, i can’t really say anything without spoiling it. and the adding of new characters and the direction she went in, is soo different from the other two books, i feel It kind of took away from Ollie and Mia’s story. What we wanted to see.
This would have been an amazing story for other characters . Still i can’t deny that i enjoyed the story, not as much as the first two books but i still enjoyed it. I missed these characters, i was invested in them and it was good to be reunited with them.
Nicole’s writing is amazing as always she takes you on journey and plays with your emotions. I was anxious throughout the whole book, just wanting Ollie and Mia to finally get their happy ending.
I am still amazed that this is Nicole’s debut. I am looking forward to her future work, she has definitely become a one click author for me.
This is a story she can be proud of.
“I’ve always been the dark, but you’ve always been the light, Ollie, and together, our love burns in color. You are my every beautiful sacred moment, and I promise to stay for the rest of my life.”
UGH OLLIE AND MIA ARE EVERYTHING. they’re definitely a new favorite couple of mine, they literally have my whole heart. THE ENDING?! LIKE HUH. WHAT. KILL ME. all three books had such crazy endings istg it’s just like can i breathe? the answer is no. ANYWAY, i love love nicole’s writing style omg. there were also just such good quotes because hello ollie. whenever he opened his mouth i was ready to highlight. he really is a poet.
ok sadly this book didn’t do it for me as much as the first two in the series did. let me preface what i’m about to say but just making it clear that i am stupid and lack comprehension skills. but this book got really confusing at times for me. there was way too much unnecessary conflict. way too many new characters in the beginning of the book which left me really lost because like i said i am slow. it just felt a bit disconnected from the rest of the series. and i just wanted mia and ollie to be their happy sexy selves in this last book but there was too much conflict for that to happen. mia and ollie are still a favorite couple for me but i just feel like they deserved a better last book😕
I bow down to Nicole Fiorona for such an epic debut series!! This book and series deserves all the stars! I had to sit and think about my feelings after completing this book.
There aren’t enough words to sum up Ollie and Mia’s story. NOYE will consume you and Nicole Fiorona has penned such a poetic novel that touches your heart and captivates your soul. My love affair with these characters began with Stay With Me. When I blindly went into Book 1 I was completely enamoured. Each book had Ollie and Mia battling different obstacles keeping them apart and each time their love prevailed. Now Open Your Eyes is a beautiful story to end an amazing series. The author has given us characters that will stay with me as they are two souls destined to be together and their love story is so unique and compelling.
My goodness where to start.. Yes this will probably just be another review where I ramble. One day I might be as good as others writing reviews. Anyhoo thank you Nicole so so much for allowing me to be on your ARC team and enjoy this series.
This is the third and final ( makes my heart sad) book in this series and damn if it didn't make my heart stop and start several times. I was already in love with Ollie and Mia and this story just made my feelings stronger. There where twist that I didn't see coming and so many times I yelled out loud. By the end of the book I "maybe" don't have Ethan as much !! Ollie was the same magnificent person he had been and Mia was stronger, together they could get through anything as long as they stay together. There isn't enough rambling I can do to give this series justice but if you haven't started it yet you need to. Ohhh and Stay with me ( first book) was her first book !!!! Soooo good!!!!
“Let’s get drunk on cheap rosé, confess our deepest darkest secrets and create playlists of our best mistakes. Let’s kiss like crazy in this magical dark place that doesn’t have a name but where we’re both free.”
Oliver Masters
I don't have enough words to describe my feeling about the series, and especially this third book.
It was really a rollercoaster of emotions in every chapter I passed and I never knew what to expect each turn of a page.
The intensity fo the love Ollie and Mia share it's one of a kind and as a reader, Nicole makes you feel everything they are feeling. It's been a while if not the only time something like this happened to me with a book. We got to see both of them at Dolor during the first two books and trying to overcome all the obstacles the people and situations created there. It was raw and ugly but necessary so they could become what they are in this third book. Yes, they are not at Dolor here, but in a new society with new people and obstacles, who are going to do everything to threaten their relationship. Here we see a different Ollie, who has to battle his anxiety and thought to do what he has to do to protect her, and a more independent and loving Mia. It's like they made a 360-degree change since we first saw them in book one. Their love expands a little more every day. The intensity. The feelings. The chills. The happiness they spread. This love changed them and each and everyone who's been around them.
The perfect closure for this couple, who had to go through a lot. Just like the saying, "If you want the rainbow, you have to put up with the rain". They made it, they got their happily ever after.
What am I going to do now that Ollie & Mia's story is complete!?? 😭 I love these two and happy they got there HEA. The series as a whole was 5stars for me, BUT this last book took me a bit to get thru. The vibe was completely different at times from the first two books and not in a good way. All the side conflicts going on got a bit messy for my taste and some of the actions from Ollie and Mia were not like them, it was like I was reading about different characters at times. It just felt off. I wish we would've just gotten their love story and them finding eachother, I don't think we needed all that side noise with the gang and the whole Leigh thing was unnecessary.
Aside from that I loved these two and it was probably my favorite series. I am completely in love with Ollie. The way that man loves you just can't help but feel it all!
