Killing for me is easy. Loving is an entirely different thing.
Una is the only person I ever gave a damn about, but she's off limits. I’m grateful she only spends the summer with us. I can't risk her getting involved in my life of crime. But now she’s here, all grown up, and this time, I don’t think I can stay away from her.
When Una starts partying with Darragh, who’s as wild and unpredictable as they come, I can't afford keeping my distance any longer. Bodies seem to stack up wherever he goes. Cleaning up his messes used to be annoying. Now I have Una to consider, Una to protect.
My family is belly deep in the criminal underworld, and she's a distraction I can't afford. The closer she gets to me, the more I'm spiraling out of control.
I can't let her see who I really am, but I can't seem to let her go.

Loved Shane & Una's story. Great characters. This one pulled me in from the first page until the end. Wow. Love my mafia books. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.
Wild Irish Prequel... Bumbling Irish mobsters screw up left and right in this murder💀 and mafia🔫🔪 romance. Twin brothers are as unlike as 🌙night and day🌞. Connor, Liam, Shane, and the twins, Finn🐺 and Darragh🐶🔫🔪, are all soldiers for their mobster father.
When her father dies, Siobhan💃💔has his farm and 🐕dog to deal with. She lives in the city and doesn't want either, but the 🐕dog grows on her.
At her father's wake, twin Irish mobsters, Finn🐺 and Darragh🐶 attend, with Darragh🐶 blowing it by offering her a large amount for the farm, which contains a large bog. The twins father, Michael, wants The Farm for the bog, a convenient place to dump bodies. Siobhan💃💔 is offended by the crass offer at her father's wake, and refuses.
Darragh🐶🍆🔫🔪 is a womanizer and a drunk. Finn🐺 is a serious young man who agonizes over everything that Darragh🐺 does. The other older brothers are serious mobsters following in their father's footsteps 👣 Siobhan💃💋 takes to Finn🐺 and they start an affair. She wants to sell the farm to him but her old aunt👵 is contesting the will.
Darragh🐶🔫🔪, the bumbling fool, goes to see the Aunt👵 and kills💀 her when she supposedly attacks him. It's a death💀 that is too convenient, too close to Siobhan's father's death. Of course the other brothers must clean up his mess. ******** Shane. Who is Shane? The book Vicious picks up in the middle of his relationship with Una, so it's confusing to say the least. The author has other characters in this book that are not introduced. They must have been in other books? Who is Neill? Who is Brian? Who is Una? Then there is the problem of The dead girl. Where in the world did she come from?
ARC Received from Booksprout🌱 I also got this book with KU.
This is an interesting book but it was rushed into publication. It is filled with spelling errors and plot holes. It needs to be edited. The mob's family name, 0'Reagan, is even spelled O'Regan at times. Which is it? Brian is called Brain at times! The list of errors is long. Apparently, this is not a standalone book because I was thoroughly confused by characters with no background information being continually inserted into the story.

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Vi Carter!
Vicious Irish is the second book in the Wild Irish series and tells the story of Shane and Una.
I’ve read a few books by Vi Carter and this is definitely one of the most interesting series because I love Ireland and this whole series is about an Irish Mafia family. I really liked that Vi Carter decided to write this series because it’s a bit different than her A Broken Heart series and All of Me series.
I really loved the main characters, Shane and Una. They both want each other, but they can’t because they’re basically family. I really love complicated relationships because you really get to know the characters. You get to see whether they’ll risk it all or not. The double perspective also really helps with getting to know the characters, you can read what they’re thinking and feeling.
I also loved that Vi Carter gave Finn and Shiobhan an appearance in Vicious Irish so we know how they’re doing. For those that don’t know: Finn and Shiobhan are the main characters from Wild Irish. I’m happy that I could read about them again because I really liked them.
Vicious Irish was an amazing sequel and I cannot wait to read the other books in the Wild Irish series and I’m curious which brother will be the main character in the third book.
This was book 1 in the " Wild Irish series. This was a book about twins Finn and Shane who fall head over hill for their women Finn and Siobhan and Shane and Una. Una's life had always been intertwined with her stepbrothers, and their wildly violent and vicious personalities. Warned by her mother in adulthood, to stay away from that family, Una was unable to comply as she felt at home with them in an oddly satisfying way. Her relationship with each brother is complex, but her feelings toward Shane went beyond platonic they were both hot for each other. This was a dark, well written romance was filled with family drama. This book was Violent and bloody it was also graphic. Shane was obsessed with Una she was the one person who could get through to his dark side. I really liked this book it was my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Boy this book really had me on the edge of my seat. Loved the characters, very suspicious. Can't wait to read more of the series, and more by this Author. A definite 5 STAR from me.
Wow this book get so hot you may need a cold shower I absolutely could not get enough of this I was hooked from the first page great writing job bravo loved it and if anyone is looking a steamy wonderful read then add this one to your list you will not be disappointed I was not, I loved it

Loved this very fast paced story from Vi Carter that I received ARC for.
Shane has always felt more then brotherly towards Una since his dad married her mother even after they divorced Una kept in contact with the family. Una is too innocent which has always had Shane kept a watch over her from afar until she comes to stay & gets in trouble with his step brother that puts Shane on edge.
Like always there is always a side of angst with Vi Carter books which you learn to love & then smoking hot chemistry with the fast paced story line you have a hit. look forward to reading the rest of the series
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. To love a person is hard to walk away. Una grew up with the wrong family, she was unaware of the dealings that happened around her. Una just loved Shane and that is where she felt at home in his arms. Thank you for allowing me to review this book it was great.

Lots of drama and intrigue in this story alone with some romance. This story is about Una and Shane, the author has a nice writing technique that makes the story easy to read, that being said there are few parts at the very beginning that had me trying to work out who was who. An interesting well written story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Terrific mafia romance suspense! A great start to a new series, Wild Irish, with fabulous characters and a dark suspenseful Irish mafia storyline. Fantastic, sexy chemistry between Una and Shane. Well written, realistic story that includes what you would expect with the mafia. Drugs, danger, suspense along with a steamy romance. Love the O’Reagans! I’m looking forward to the next one. Worth the read.

This is a great story that draws you in from the very beginning. The characters were great and the story was really engaging. I loved it and I could not put it down!

Una's life had always been intertwined with her stepbrothers, and their wildly violent and vicious personalities. Warned by her mother in adulthood, to stay away from that family, Una was unable to comply as she felt at home with them in an oddly satisfying way. Her relationship with each brother is complex, but her feelings toward Shane went beyond platonic. Her realization that they were deeply intrenched in the Irish Mafia was shocking and almost paralyzing as she was already deeply in love with Shane. This dark, well written romance was filled with family interactions and intrigue. Violent, bloody, graphic, and raw with hints of obsession when it came to Shane's feelings for Una. She remained the innocent, naïve, and slightly awkwardly sweet heroine as she was able to penetrate Shane's darker side. A very compelling read.

This book is about a young woman raised in a drug dealing crime family but doesn't realize it as she is growing up. She falls in love with one of the sons. There is a lot of mention of drugs, drinking, and death so reader beware. But I'm sure the story is pretty realistic about these things, unfortunately. It was a little confusing at the beginning about who was who in the family, but things get clear as you continue reading. Could be a tough reality show with all the drama in the family!

This is the second book in the series and brings Una and Shane's story. Their characters are strong and have a sizzling chemistry. The supporting characters help to bring the story to life along with the descriptive writing and vividly painted scenes. It's an intriguing story that captured and held me from start to finish. It's well written, moves fluidly and I loved reading. I'm looking forward to the next book. Highly recommend!!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Vicious by Vi Carter. I had a hard time connecting with the story and characters in the beginning of this book but as story progressed, both grew on me and I found myself intrigued and wanting more. I love the darkness of this story and the way the characters didn’t try to sugarcoat things for anyone. This story has a dual POV and HEA (both my favorites) and I would recommend it to others. I've read several books written by Vi Carter; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Vi has such a way of describing the scenes, characters and emotions that make you feel as though you are right there with them.
Shane and Una story is powerful and bold. It's got the intrigue, drama, sizzling characters and just one heck of a wild ride that will leave you breathless. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
A darker undertone romance about Una and Shane, who have feelings for each other but it feels wrong as they have been raised as family. It's a book that captures your attention with the easy flow of the story and its characters.

Una is no longer tied to Michael and his son's through marriage but that doesn't stop her from escaping to his home when trouble brews with her mom. Staying there brings her closer to her crush who has always been distant from her but she never understood it. Even now that they aren't step siblings Shane won't try for a friendship, especially with their less then legal business holdings and management styles.
This book was dark, twisted and leaves you in suspense. It's got a hot cold romance and family ties that leave you wondering. Like a modern day Sapranoes meets the godfather sort of deal.
This book is left with a bit of a cliffhanger- not officially as it wraps up Shane and Una but cliffhanger about the other brothers and the business dealings going on. I have many questions that I am sure will be answered with future books.
I hope Liam finds his HEA and Darragh gets help so he can appologize and earn Una's respect again. Also Connor has me curious. Plus what was it about their cousin and uncle? I hope Finn gets to keep his girl. What did Una's mother mean but I hope it's not Liam- does that mean Liam might be her natural son and if so I hope Liam and Una can finally have a positive sibling relationship.
Cannot wait for more books from Vi.
