A fellow Naropa alum told me to check out this book. Felt very click bait-y, and mean. I am not denying that there were horrific things done, but the way he talked about some of my former teachers was not very kind, and felt like he was trying to slander them. I had so many questions, one of which was why didn't Merwin and his GF leave immediately? Also: horrible. This book tells of a guru gone wrong.

Gossipy tripe. But sort of fun anyway.

Poor, poor W.S. Merwin.
