I write action/adventure fiction with a definite proclivity towards Sword & Sorcery. I like magicians, but I'm less partial to unicorns, dragons, elves and dwarves. But give me a hero with a magic sword and I'll make him sing... Wait, I already have!

I've published a number of works under the CasiePress imprint and there are more to come.

I'm an older guy (Guy!), married and all my kids have grown up and given me grandkids to dote over. I've read thousands of books and found that in most cases, I'd rather write than read.

First off I want to state that I have loved the series from the start and hopefully all the way to the end. I honestly wish it was not ending in the next book.
The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because while the story had a good flow between events they also seemed to lack much substance in themselves. I felt Antibes could have gone into more detail or stretched a lot of the events. Especially in the back half of the book and near the end. I also have a little gripe with how characters turned from enemy to friends so quickly or how people immediately believed Ari was a god or Jack’s adventures. Although I will admit that it took Alona a little bit to be convinced.
Now after listing those complaints I will say Antibes does an amazing job in creating the country of Bornan. Especially in respect of the culture. If I remember correctly the culture is a mix Bedouin and sub Saharan Africa cultures. I also love how Antibes has developed Jack and Penny’s relationship.
All in all I will say this is solid book and well worth the read!!!

A fantastic ending!!

The whole story from book 1 to 7 is fantastic! The ending changed everything. What a great twist to the story. This is why Guy Antibes writes stories. A good writer. Thank you

This one was full of surprises and answered questions about things I thought were odd about jacks family. I can’t wait until the last book is out!

Another great book

It was worth waiting for. Ready for the next book. May have to reread the others, as it is getting to be a longer series

Good story

More of the same thing, good action, good characters and new situations for Jack to plow through. When will Jack and Penny marry for real?
