An unfortunate start with Watchers of Battle having far too much violence and pointless gore. I know reading Warhammer this might be expected, but this is just too over the top... especially when these short stories could be used as introductions to the world.

Fortunately, the other stories are good and fun entries into the warhammer worlds. I especially liked Curse of the Lucky by Gary Kloster - a story from the Necromunda hive!

Some interesting tales here, but a lil weaker than previous volumes. Though lots of originality / inventiveness still. Worth reading for the Brazen Claw finale alone :)
