I enjoyed the stories & the characters. However the grammar, spelling and total lack of editing let the whole collection down. Even the character's names were muddled up & used in the wrong person several times.
So many names mixed up in obvious ways and wrong words or misspelled words. I read through to the end because I liked the characters and the storyline but there were so many errors. I don't think the Author knows anything about a MC. MC's don't have den mothers. I have this a 3 star rating because it's a full series but honestly I almost have it two.
Great Set! The books can be read individually, so you can skip around if you like. Each one is about a different MC member the women they will anything for. They all have great chemistry and great story lines. It's a good vacation read!
I shouldn't have expected much since it was only 99 cents. There were grammar and punctuation errors every other sentence. The names were often swapped in error and names were also misspelled from one paragraph to another (i.e. Kain vs Kane). Just poorly written all around.
I rated this book a 3*** it really is worth a 5*** but there was a lot of mistakes like spelling, repeating words and using wrong names now and again but apart from that I really enjoyed reading book.
Truly how hard is it to proofread your work? For an example: Abby and Julian's story. It's kinda hard for Julian to carry Abby to his bed, when they are in HER apartment! In Raf and Callie's story. The author tosses out the name Dixie for Callie. Then add in the random word mistakes. He for the, weird spaces in-between letters.
Book 1. 1 Star. Superficial and was a jumbled mess. What is she going to school for? I never got WHY Raf never asked who the guy was that stabbed her. At one point the author called Callie Dixie. The Time line for Raf being in the FBI didn’t line up, not to mention the brothers ashes being buried in Denver instead of LA. What happened to the man that was getting a prosthetic? Why bring that into the story and then ignore the outcome? It might have been better if this author had taken a little extra time and developed both the characters and story not to mention asking a beta reader to review so the errors were fixed.
Book 2. 0 stars. Holy cow...these 2 weren’t even a couple until the last chapter. A young whore tossed in for drama. Not sure why that whole domestic disturbance was brought up when an MC wouldn’t have gone the police would have but I guess the cops are inept in that town. No mention of the charity ride except little parts of the plan. Again zero story was delivered and the lack of spell check was obvious.
Book 3. 1 Star. Was better but I swear I’ve read a book so similar to this story. As with the other books the “inner monologue” was more distracting then it was adding to the story.
AND as a pet peeve of mine why does no one wear a condom?
Talking club business in the open to everyone? This author is clueless with the inner workings of an MC.
Book 4. First the lack of edits in this book was ridiculous. Every girl was call the wrong name at least once not to mention the misspelling of the most common words. The contradictions about tips the owner kept but in Sloan’s book he got to keep them. AND again a book where there was no building of a relationship just rejection until the final chapter.
Why am I continuing this series?
Book 5. I can’t make myself waste another second

I gave it 3 stars because of all the typos. Including characters changing names. The stories were very good and I will read other books by the author..

The Hot MC is Ms. Vanessa Peters newest gift to us. Hello My Sexy's. Oh wow, I have to tell you, I absolutely adore MC romance books. Yummy, packed with danger, intrigue and hard won romance. Sexy, dedicated men, on two wheels, that truly get your motor running. This is exactly what Ms. Peters has provided in her oh so generous box set. If you have never had the pleasure to read her work, please trust that these books will draw you right in and keep you hooked. It took me all of last weekend, however, I finished each of them. No, I couldn't pick a favorite, nor would I want to. Each book included has a terrifically crafted storyline with the gorgeous men with the grit and determination to match. Who will bring them to their knees? Find out inside. Included in this superb collection is; Rafael, Sloan, Ryne, Julian and Bain. Let's just say that I was absolutely glued to my Kindle all weekend. Oh my eyes. However, I can not wait to see what is next from this brilliant Author.
I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of The Hot MC in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this collection of deliciousness.
The storylines and characters were good but in all the books there were, in my opinion, way too many glaringly immature spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes that made me wonder whether Vanessa was old enough to be writing books like these and maybe she should employ a proof reader because, after a while of having to read the same paragraphs a few times in the same book was a bit irritating and spoiled the flow.
Vanessa Peters is a new to me author and this will not be the last of her books I'll read. 5 books, 5 couples, 5 steamy reads. The books have some great twists and turns, fast reads, and great flow between stories. I enjoyed this a lot! !****I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from Bad Boy Update and this is my honest review****
This is a good buy with pages and pages of five stories about six friends in the Golden Eagles MC of Derby near Denver, Colorado. Romance, adventure, danger and saving activities of the MC men backed by their family, the club, especially the President, Hopper. Great stories in this recommended read!
Loved 4/5 of these books. Julian’s story just wasn’t for me... i got about half way and skipped the rest. Over all the other books were really good. Some grammatical errors in all of them but I don’t let that stop me! Great reads! Not your typical MC and it was a nice change! Nightly recommend!
Loved all the books and the stories of all the characters but I have to agree with other reviews, the grammar, spelling and misuse of character names let them down a little and made re-reading paragraphs to understand. Still 5 stars due to the chemistry and story lines but editing needs to take place, mainly in the last 2-3 books.
What more can you ask for then a set of books with sexy bikers that have good characters and stories that will keep your interest. I do feel that the grammar/editing could have been a bit better though.
Great MC Romance Boxset with plenty if steam, twists, and some drama. The main characters of each story are developed, likable, alpha, and sexy who find their counterparts and HEAs. I liked this entertaining and engaging Collection. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
A hot group of bikers with heats of gold, every single book in this set is linked. Unfortunately the only downside was the grammar wasn’t all that good which did make reading difficult.
I just couldn't get into this series at all. I barely made it through the 1st one. The dialogue is cheesy and the stories are beyond moronic. I wouldn't waste my time with this set.
I live the books. but so many thing wrong between the name mix up and the grammar and misspellings or wrong words. But my biggest question is why one book was name sloan and not kain. If its supposed to be about the guess it should have been named kain

There were so many spelling mistakes through the books it was driving me crazy, sometimes even wrong names were used in areas. But other than that the books were ok!!
This series of books are one of the best I have ever read. Each couple tells their own story but they all blend together as well. Hot bikers finding the lives of their lives. Nothing better. A very talented author. 😊xxx😋
I thought the books were written well for the most part, just some typos and the the wrong tense sometimes. Just minor booboos. But the stories were original and they were fun with great HEAs. Keep up with your writing style. You seem pretty talented.
I have just started reading mc books and I saw this one and saw that it was getting five stars. It started okay and the more I got into it the more I couldn’t get into it that’s why I have put down 3 stars.
I liked the story line. But there are a lot of spelling and chaitor mistakes names in the wrong places. And sentences that make no sense. I would have gave it 4 stars but there are to many mistakes.
Great books. Wonderful story line if you can get past every misspell. The worst I have ever tried to read. Again good characters and story just absolutely horrible spelling.
