When I thought my year couldn't become any worse, it did.
I thought I was fitting in with this family but I was so wrong.
Things were supposed to be easy, like falling for the four hottest guys at Bridal Creek.
I trusted them at my weakest but they just humiliated me, ridiculed me.
God, how could I have been so stupid?
Well, now the truth is out and things are about to change.
I still have a target on my back but I'm standing tall and no one will knock me back down.
I've already lost everything that was close to me and be damned if that happens again.

Authors Note: BCH or Bridal Creek High is a young and new adult reverse harem academy highschool bully series. This is recommended for 17+ readers because of cursing and 'certain scenes'. So if you're into that kind of thing then stick around. #whychoose bully romance. Book 2 does end with a cliffhanger.

- no part 2
- literally so many inconsistencies but my favorite might be how in the first book quinn is like ‘i can eat however i want cause it all disappears in my stomach anyway’ and then now she’s like ‘oh i have to watch what i eat bc of my slow metabolism’
- i don’t get how this is reverse harem as quinn is mostly focused on and knows the most about tyson and has spent absolutely ZERO time one on one with any of the other boys to get to know them??
- it’s just.... a mess

This series just isn’t very good. The writing is a kind of amateurish. Some inconsistencies stood out at well. In The first book the main characters bathroom is in the hallway. She doesn’t have a master suite for some reason even though the family lives in a giant mansion. Later on in the book she’s walking out of the bathroom and somehow ends up in her bedroom as if the bathroom is located in her bedroom like a master suite. That’s in the first book. In this book in chapter 1 she mentions how she has this amazingly fast metabolism that she takes full advantage of. Midway through the book she talks about how her metabolism is so slow and she can’t eat anything that she wants. It’s like the author doesn’t remember who her character is. Also there’s a lack of detail in the descriptions of how the main characters look. I honestly had no idea how to differentiate between the four different guys. I also couldn’t really tell the difference between the h’s group of friends. Also the main character says she’s only had sex twice but then is like a total freak in the bedroom. The whole thing just was not very good and I just wasn’t able to finish this book and will not be completing the series. With so many good books out there to read I just can’t justify wasting time reading some thing that’s subpar.

As I said in my review of the first book, I am on the fence with this love interest as though Tyson turns out to not be a blood relative, he is still in a way her step-cousin - so it feels slightly incestuous as they didn't really have the strong chemistry that we are used to reading in stepbrother novels. At the end of Book #, 1 Tyson learned more of Quinn's secret and started to take on a more protective role where he becomes her bodyguard/potential boyfriend. As usual, now that Quinn has captured the attention of the guy's she is viewed as a threat from Tonya - the ice queen and the HBIC of Bridal Creek High and she won't back down. Can Quinn hold her own against Tonya? Redemption has a stronger focus on Liv as she is becoming bulimic and withdrawing - is she still grieving the loss of Preston? Can the family save Liv before she heads down the same track as Preston? On the mystery side, we read as one of the killers is caught but the other is still out there and at large and getting closer to Quinn. She has managed to dodge the killer once, can she do it again or this time will the killer make sure he doesn't miss? Find out in this average bullymance series "Bridal Creek High Series" with Book #2 Redemption which like the other bullymance series I have read ends on a cliffhanger.

And the drama definitely continues in this book. But maybe it will come to an end in the next book for sure. Doubt it. And I kinda hope not either.
Quinn is getting into all kinds of drama. And also getting in deep with the boys. What she can't understand is why Tyson is always going hot and cold on her. Or why all the sudden him and his posse is all up her butt. Following her around, watching her. Then Liv is starting to act all weird. Where she was in her corner. She's all the sudden hostile to her. But one thing for sure she needs a breather.

I really loved this book and my heart goes out Liv. Just hope they start to become one massive family as it’s what they need.

I couldn't put it down!

Quinn's life isn't easy now the man who stabbed her is locked up and the man who killed her mom is now after her. Ty makes it his and the guys mission to be her bodyguards. She never gets to drive her car or have time alone. Its not so bad cuz she is starting to fall for them but life always has a way of knocking her down it seems.

Ehhh. The writing wasn’t great. LOTS of editing errors. The characters were inconsistent. The main character says something in the first half of the book about the house or her body or things she likes and in the second half directly contradicts them. It’s almost like she forgets who her character is. And there are lots of weird threads that just disappear. She has to go back to identify her mothers killer, but then just skipping right over the trial and verdict. She’s almost raped and it just kind of goes away. She’s drugged and beaten and it just kind of goes away. The sex scenes are also very cringe-y. Lots of weird phrases. And the same things said over and over. It was an easy read (until the editing got so bad I kept getting distracted” and it has things I like. I love RH, love bully romances, love that there’s the step-cousin aspect. And the basic plot is good. Mom is killed and she has to go live with a family she doesn’t know. This book had a lot of potential. It’s kind of a shame that it wasn’t developed into the awesome story it could have been.

Bridal Creek High

I just love this series. All the teenage angst, desires, jealousy and drama that keeps the mayhem coming. Quinn and HER boys will bring the excitement she’s longing for. Can’t wait for book three!!

If your looking for a good book

Don't get this one. Unless of course your into high school gangbang . 10% storyline. 90% sex. But if u take out all of that , the actual storyline is pretty good.

I love reverse harems but this was NOT IT. There was no connection to other the guys ( just Ty) only physical and their interactions just seemed like gross hook ups because she didn’t know one thing about any of them . It would of been so much better if her relationship would have just been with Tyson. This is coming a gal that has binge read all the reverse harem books. There has to be an emotional attachment also or it just doesn’t work.

Another thing that drove me nuts was at the beginning of one of Redemption Quinn was eating a ton of food and and Lily mentioned it. She went on to explain she had a fast metabolism and took advantage of it. But then further in the book she thought that she wished she had Liv’s metabolism because she herself had to watch what she ate. Um.... WHAT?

I found the text, this was so confusing to me ....

“I hadn’t noticed that about her–I was never around when she was eating. But for her figure and athleticism, she might be on a strict diet or some crap like that. Not me. Thankfully, I had a crazy metabolism–food literally disappeared inside me once it hit my stomach. I was grateful for that, and I abused it, too.” ( Quinn Pg 161)

Ihad never, not before last night, seen Liv eat that much. It was as if she had developed some kind of tapeworm overnight. She used to be a picky eater before, constantly obsessed with her weight. Now, she was just chugging on food. I wished I could eat like that. I didn’t have a fast metabolism, so I had to be deliberate about what and how much I ate. “I wish I could do that,” I said to her as we sat by the pool the Sunday evening. Mia and Bella were over, and we were having cocktail drinks and sandwiches. “Me, too,” Bella said and tossed her wavy blonde hair over her shoulder. ( Quinn Pg 254)

Also, not sure if the author is from another country but in America football games are just that GAMES not MATCHES. When they have a practice game against another team it’s called a SCRIMMAGE not a practice match. I’m reading another series of hers and she also calls basketball games matches. Sorry but I’ve around athletics my whole life I can’t not mention this because it drove me freekin CRAZY! Just do a little research about sports if you’re going to incorporate them in your books:)

Great series

Really enjoy the series. Glad to see the FMC get a backbone in book 2. Possible spoilers ahead..........I only gave three stars because in one part of the series the FMC is eating in the kitchen and is thinking about how thankful she is that she can eat anything “food just disappears inside her” but in book 2 she thinks about how lucky Liv is to be able to eat whatever she wants when she (FMC) has to always be careful. Also, I must have missed the part where Celine was not the biological mother of the twins. I noticed they always called her by name but they call the Dad Robert so I didn’t think much about it. I kept waiting for someone to point out that Tyson was the FMC’s cousin and it never happened. The bathroom scene at the end of book 2 clarified that for me. Now on to see how everything ends!

Really enjoyed the first book, but very disappointed with this one. The author contradicts herself a lot. Example: at one point says Quinn is lucky she can eat anything, then further in the book says she has to be careful about how she eats. Another is when two hours becomes all night. I also feel like there should have been more interaction between Q and the boys. Building more of foundation for their relationships rather than skimming over it with a few steamy scenes thrown in. The whole book feels choppy. The ideas are there but they don’t transition smoothly from one to the next.

Mean girls and Had boys

Queen is pretty much under house arrest until her mother's killer is found Tyson and his friends won't let her out of there site and it's making for some bad enemies one in particular Tonya will get revenge in a really cruel way. And the secret Liv's been hiding comes out. This reverse harem has plenty of enemies and plenty of heat can't wait to see were it all ends.

There are a lot of inconsistencies between the book.

Location of her tattoo.
Her bathroom.
Her metabolism.
Etc.

I’m not getting the RH vibe. They kiss her and other stuff but are also hanging all over other girls. And she’s ok as long as they pay her attention. I feel she was stronger and a better MC in the first book.
I also can’t keep track of any of the characters. None of them really stand out.

Redemption

The bulling goes as far as attempted murder. She gets closer to the boys. More drama in the family as someone comes up with a condition. Then the detective thinks they may have her moms killer. Problem is she needs to go back to make the identification. That can’t be safe

Redemption

This was good, but if I could be honest. I didn't see or feel any chemistry between Quinn and Tyson. I felt more between the guys Noah, Jonathan, and Liam than Tyson. I was also more interested in seeing Quinn hang around her friends and Liv than the the inner circle of the boys.

Semblance of happiness

Excellent! Quinn is fitting into her new life. She has friends. She has boyfriends. Her Aunt Celine tries to make a home for her but there are underlying problems with the twins that come to light. Then to deal with her mother's killer...

This book is all over the place. The characters are all flat. A lot of the storyline is cringey and unrealistic. There are so many inconsistencies. I almost didn’t finish, but the book is so short I powered through

Redeem

Can five can her nightmare have an end? This has been an unusual bully set as the true bully is actually not just one group. This has been an awesome road looking forward to where it leads next

👌🏻

This really is a great story however I am starting to struggle because we are not getting much from all the guys. I want to learn more about the 3 guys and sadly we are only getting inf from Ty. Hopefully we can get more with future books.

So Quinn acted less clueless this time around. Still forgave the guys a little bit too easily. The sub plot with Liv was blatantly obvious but they got there in the end

That cliffhanger is almost too much! I need the next book now. I have to know what comes next. And I need more of the guys.

No character development

Things progress, I guess. But we don't get to know any of the characters any better and they have no growth.
