A Review by Anthony T. Riggio of the book: In Their Own Words by Terry Turchie and Donagh Bracken

I purchased this book, in hardbound edition from Amazon, several months ago from Amazon in a Hardbound edition soon after it came out and set on my “to read shelf” and it sat there for a couple of months before I picked up around January 2020. It was an easy read well written and thoroughly researched. I have read a couple of books by Terry Turchie, including UNABOMBER: How the FBI Broke Its Own Rules to Capture the Terrorist Ted Kaczynski ; Hunting the American Terrorist: The FBI's War on Homegrown Terror ; and Homeland Insecurity: How Washington Politicians Have Made America Less Safe;

While all of Turchie's books were very revealing and eye opening, his latest book “In Their Own Words” was shocking and very revealing to me and I am sure anybody involved in current reviews of the candidates for the Presidency in 2020. I apologize for not setting my review out sooner and now in the midst of the current campaign and therefore less influential on the voter who will decide the fate of this election. If you are an informed Democrat, this may not be the book for you but then if you are not, all you have to do is read their national platform and you will be informed on what they plan for this country. If you are a less than informed Republican then you should read this book. If you are undecided, you absolutely must read this book before you vote..

In essence the current Democratic Party is not mine nor your parents Democratic Party and has devolved into something different and this book points out all of the areas it has devolved into. Its platform is painfully lacking regarding God, Patriotism and not a viable plan for running the country if it wins in 2020. It emphasizes all the things most intelligent and uninformed voters need to know before election day. When I was growing up my educators taught us about the dangers of Communism and how Socialism is only a hair breath away.

It is clear from a reading of is book that the Democrats enjoy and and seek absolute power and the United States Constitution is an impediment to many of the goals of their platform.

I'd love to hear what others have gleaned from reading this book , primarily because I too am a retired FBI Agent and was in the same carpool and admired his thinking.

This title covers information not readily available elsewhere which was compiled by an esteemed retired FBI Counter-Terrorism expert. It divulges how extreme radicals have infiltrated the American political mainstream and are now a part of our governing institutions. This is a wake-up call to be heeded.
