El and Octavia find themselves on two separate paths. One leads to somewhere deep within the Earth, and the other leads to a small green trailer on the edge of town. In part three of The Low, Low Woods we see El and Octavia spending time apart after their row. El pays a visit to a witch in the hopes of finding an answer to the lost time. Octavia has a nasty encounter in the woods. And what is up with sinkhole girl? So many questions!

TW: sexual assault.
Ficando cada vez mais interessante a HQ. Tem aquela sensação de história sendo contada ao mesmo tempo em que fio segue solto, porque os temas são maiores que a trama. Ou a trama é um veículo para os temas.

E acho que estou me acostumando com a arte?

I feel like this comic is creating more weird confusion without resolving anything. Each issue I expect there to be some movement forward with the mystery but it seems we get more details of strange things going on.

Here we see Octavia visiting a witch to see if she can remember what happened in the movie theatre. She then visits Jessica and we learn that the women in her family become sinkholes. Their stomachs literally open up into sinkholes as they age—kind of weird.

Meanwhile, El is walking her dog Pearl when a skinless person attacks them. She fights him off and Pearl is okay.

Bizarre issue. I want to see what happens but I’m worried that things won’t conclude well because it’s gotten so weird.

I really liked how all over the place this was... gotta finish strong, though. No idea what to expect, which is nice for a change.

OK, it feels like we're finally connecting the far flung plot points as well as connecting our leads. Also WITCHES! The skinless man felt too Harrow County even in the way he was drawn. And the whole stomach hole, there needs to be some more because I'm just not buying it so far.
