After I finished Wipe Out I dove straight into White Water. White Water is the epilogue for the whole series and I loved it. I think this is the first time I read an epilogue like this, but I wish more authors would do this as it was so much fun. And a great way to say goodbye to an awesome series.
White Water has 8 different perspectives in one book, so we get another glimpse of all of the 8 main characters we met throughout the series. It's at once an epilogue and a final thing each of these couples have to overcome. It's also the perfect wrap in one way, getting to spend some time with each of these characters again and having the last few open plot points wrapped up. Then there is someone who seems intent on making their spring break a difficult one, which ads a hint of mystery, although I did manage to guess who was behind it just before the reveal.
White Water isn't a full length novel, but it still felt like a good sized novella. It doesn't feel rushed at all. It felt like a real treat to fans of the series. There was just something so fun about getting all 8 of their perspectives in one book and getting all their stories wrapped up. And there was still quite a bit of story in this one. It also was fun to see how they all interact with each other.
each couple and character has one more things they have to deal with in this book. Often this had to do with what to do next. It's about secrets, but also about opening up. I like how it also shows there are different paths and I liked getting that glimpse of what these characters are planning next for their life. It was great to see how the plot line with Hayes got resolved and Jace make a choice where to stay. Harley is keeping a secret from Aidan which they struggle with and when it gets resolved it was just so sweet to see how Aidan is there for her. There's quite the twist when it comes to Skylar's future and I thought it made perfect sense. I liked how Savannah want to take an unconventional road and how she knows what she wants. It also was fun to see them all as a couple and how they are handling things together.
Most of all this novella was just a lot of fun. I really enjoyed reading it and the author did an awesome job fitting all 8 perspectives in one book and never making it confusing. And as each of their perspectives was just as interesting as the rest I didn't mind the chapter switches. It also was fun to see everyone again in this book as not everyone has as big a role in the last book. There are also some questions left unanswered in the main books that get answered here, which was great.
To summarize: I can't recommend this epilogue novella enough for fans of this series. It's the perfect wrap up for the series with all 8 main characters their perspectives in one book, where the last open plot threads are wrapped up and each couple deals with one more hurdle to overcome. There is a bit of mystery as well about someone who seems intent on hurting them. I had a lot of fun reading this one and I really liked the idea of doing an series epilogue like this with a novella where you get to read about all the characters. I enjoyed seeing how the characters dealt with things in this book and seeing everyone as a couple as well as how they interacted as a group of friends. I really had a fun time with this series and I am a bit sad it ended, but also eager for Jordan Ford's next series as it sounds awesome!
White Water is the epilogue finale novella in the Ryder Bay series, and my word, do we go out with a bang!
In this book, you catch up with all the main couples from the previous books. It is Spring Break, and things aren't going according to plan. Life is changing for our young couples, and they are left feeling very uncertain about what their future holds. Some have to decide about college, some have more personal decisions to make. Whichever, it makes for a gripping book.
Don't just enjoy what is written in the main part of the book though. Once you reach the end, carry on reading, and you will find further snippets, just to give you that final fulfilment, on how Ms Ford sees their futures going. It was perfect. I loved all of them, plus hearing about the plans for the new series.
If I had one 'bad' thing to say (and it's not really bad, just my personal opinion), I would have loved to have known if Hayes and Jace continued their friendship as they matured. In fact, I'd just love more of Hayes, please!
If you've read the main four books in this series, then why deny yourself the cherry on the icing on the cake, which is this epilogue novella? Absolutely recommended by me.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. *

Spring Break is supposed to be full of fun, friends, and good times. But for the couples of Ryder Bay this year, Spring Break is not what they expected. They each have secrets they need to share and decisions they need to make. Jace and Lettie have flown cross country to stay with his mom and Tony and to meet his baby sister but will he want to stay? Savannah doesn't want to go to college and Griffin isn't sure he can get in. Skylar wants to go to New York but what about her plans to go to school with Jed? And all Aiden wanted to do was go to the prom with his girl but by asking her, he may have ended their relationship. What is Harley keeping from him? Everyone expected to ignore real-life for this one week and have some downtime to hang at the beach and surf but even those plans are going awry since it seems that someone has a grudge and is targeting them.
White Water is the epilogue for the Ryder Bay series. It ties up all of the loose ends and each character's future is clearly laid out. If you read the Author's notes, you get even more. It is a fantastic send-off for this wonderful cast. It's told in all 8 character's different perspectives, so we spend quality time with each one. It's fun, it's sweet, it's touching; it's a feel-good finish!
I loved reading about the future of the characters in the Ryder Bay Series. The problems Harley, Aidan, Savannah, Griffin, Skylar and Jed are facing are common to young people finishing school and starting their college life. While Jace and Lettie still have a few years of school, they have to deal with Jace's decision whether to stay in Ryder Bay or to return to his mother's house. As they all go through these indecisions, some events threaten them all during Spring Break. I loved the story, the characters and the conclusion of everything that happened to them. I highly recommend the reading.
White Water (Ryder Bay #5) is the final epilogue in the series and wraps up the series with no lingering questions. Told in first person with multi pov's of 8 character's, and chapters dedicated to individual characters thoughts. On the lengthier side of a novella, it didn't appear rushed. I loved the choices of the character's and being able to create your own ending. I've read every book in this series and this final epilogue novella is the cherry on top of this nectarous series.
Thank you so much for allowing us one last visit to Ryder Bay so we could hang out one last time with all the gang. The final epilogue novella is told from the POV of all eight main characters, four main couples and it basically gives us an inside scoop on their last summer break before they decide what each of them are going to do with their respective futures.
Aidan and Harley have one final hurdle to overcome, and yes I still had some tears to shed for the toughest surfer chick around. Skylar and Jed and Savannah and Griffin are all facing the tough decisions on where to go to college. However my favourite couple Jace and Lettie have the toughest choice with Jace who needs to decide if he wants to move back to Sterling Bay or stay with Lettie in Ryder Bay for his senior year.
This was a beautiful swan song for these characters and I absolutely loved seeing their character development and how they all came to be great friends through tough times and trying circumstances. This was a great ending to this amazing series. I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC and this is my honest review.
White water is the epilogue of the Ryder Bay series. You have the chance to see how things are going on with Harley& Aiden, Savannah&Griffin, Skyler& Jed and Lettie & Jace and you see it from the eight points of view. That gives a fast and vibrant pace to the development of the story. Will Harley finally tell Aiden why she doesn’t want to go to prom? Will Savannah and Griffin go to College together? Will Skylar stay in California with Jed? Will Jace go back to Virginia with his mother, stepfather, baby stepsister and former friends or will he remain in California for his senior year with Lettie? You get those answers and some more funny incidents in the finale of these lovely books. Jordan Ford is one of my favorite authors and the whole Ryder Bay series is wonderful. I can’t choose which is my favorite book because I Love them all. So well written characters, such beautiful stories make these 6 books a must read for people who Love heartwarming sagas. I received an ARC copy of this copy for my honest opinion and review.

I absolutely loved this story!! I was sooo happy to have had an epilogue novella to help tie up the series and let us get a catch up with all the characters in the series and see where they were at and what their future was looking like. It was written with chapters from all the different characters point of view and we get to see some "loose ends" tied up. We get to see some of the characters go through a little struggle and see them become stronger and a stronger couple for it. I absolutely loved getting to come back for a short time and am sad to see the series go but definitely feel like this was a good conclusion and way to say goodbye to all of the characters. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I was privileged enough to receive an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for a voluntary and honest review. Great ending to the series. Loved seeing into their lives after they've been together and having to work out their problems. The only thing I would've like to have seen was for Officer Malloy get his comeuppance. Or for Skylar to get some vindication for speaking out against what he did to her.
This is the final book of the Ryder Bay series and basically the epilogue to each couple. The chapters alternate between all the main characters of the previous books. We get to see what their plans are for the future along with dealing with the fallouts of the previous books. It’s the characters’ Spring Break, what should be a fun time, turns into one where someone is out to get them. I loved reading this finally book and being able to say goodbye to this fun series.
I have fallen in love with the teens of Ryder Bay. Their stories are so vivid and vibrant. They go through a lot of the same problems that worry today's teens. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you anything more about the book. It is too easy to reveal some pretty big secrets. Each chapter is written in the POV of one of the characters and the action takes place during Spring Break. If you love Ryder Bay then you will surely want to discover how everything plays out.
I really enjoyed this. The happy endings in the books are great, but there were some open items that needed closure, like Skylar's rape, whether Jace will stay in Ryder Bay, and yes, Harley's complete honesty with Aiden. Getting that closure (at least knowing what happens post the books endings) was good. Reminds you that not all of their problems have been solved and that new ones crop up and they just have to find a way to work through it.
White Water was a great ending to a wonderful series! I loved revisiting all of the Ryder Bay couples and finding out what the future holds for them as individuals and as couples. Jordan Ford wrapped up this series perfectly!
A very good way to follow how the Ryder Bay’s group is doing. It seems that when a book finish so it does with the live show of their characters. But life goes on and they have to face new challenges that will make them stronger as individuals as well as a group. Thank you Jordan for the follow up.
White Water is an amazing read!! I love how we get to see what the other couples are going through during spring break. I really enjoyed reading this book and I can’t wait to see what Jordan will write next.
I voluntarily leave an honest review of this Advanced Readers Copy.
so sad for this series to come to an end. They have all been through so much and come a long way. I love the epilogue book it would be great for all authors to do this for a series. Plus the mystery added to the greatness of this book great job!
I loved the way Jordan Ford wrapped up the Ryder Bay series using all four couples points of view. The ending was perfect, but I am sad to say goodbye to these characters. As always, the author tells a fantastic story with plenty of drama and sweet love. This book left a smile on my face.
I really enjoyed this series, it’s so very easy to read. It’s contemporary romance, so nothing steamy. This book tied up all the loose ends nicely and gave the main characters a beautiful ending and then even further insight into their future lives. This is well written, you honestly just fall into this world. Sad that it’s ended, but now to look at the other series thus author has written - in highly confident they will be as good if not better.
I loved it, I loved these characters! Their reality, their struggles and heartaches, their joys and growth! She is a great story teller, but leaves it real enough and clean. Can’t wait to read the next series by Jordan
This book follows all our favorite couples during the spring break from hell. They all encounter some difficulties, but in the end it all works out, as it should. I’m really sad this series is over. I kinda fell in love with them all and I want to see them grow up 😢
This book was a great end to the Ryder Bay series. I'm glad that all the characters got a happy ending. I really loved this series, and it one of my favorites by Jordan Ford.
After reading all of the books of the series, having an epilogue that focused on all of the characters was just what I needed, especially after feeling so attached to them all.
The books have been a rollercoaster and seeing everyone get a happy ending warmed my heart. I think Jordan Ford did an incredible job and I’m going to miss Ryder Bay!
This was a fun epilogue to what happens with all the characters. I enjoyed them from the start and it was nice to see that all of them were doing well. And to see them solve problems that they faced as couples.
I received a review copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This series is great. There is romance and drama. I love all the couples, even once spoiled and narcissistic Skyler. I first discovered Jordan Ford reading The Boys of Summer Series. I have finished all of the Ryder Bay Series before finishing The Boys of Summer. Ford's stories are amazing. I had to read more about Jace and then I was hooked by Harley and Aiden. Thank you "Jordan" for writing this great series and I look forward to reading the next series and more of your books.
So it took me a while to get into this story what with life getting in the way but I have to say I’ve loved every moment getting to know these couples and to see them all become uncertain and have their ups and downs but get through it shows anything is possible. It’s beautifully written and ties up their stories nicely. If your read the first four books you should definitely dive into this epilogue novella you won’t be disappointed.
