"The open space that we are in suddenly feels like a small, warm and suffocating box. My heart is slamming against the walls of my chest so hard, that I can feel my body vibrating with it. The urge to run has my legs twitching with adrenaline, but the fear of falling over glues my feet to the ground..."

Paul is cool, confident and laid back. He meets the girl of his dreams at a tennis match, but leaves without asking her out. After bumping into her again, he nervously gets the ball rolling. Being the only one lucky enough to get the best looking girl out of her friendship group, Paul is desperate not to let her go.

Wendy is insecure and grumpy. She spends her entire time in her room, wishing she could disappear. The only good thing in Wendy's life is her bedroom door, separating her from reality.

The only problem is that Paul and Wendy are the same person.

Things take an unexpected turn when Paul reveals the truth, forcing him into situations he never thought he would find himself in.

I have to say I have never read a book on this topic. This book grabbed me straight away. What an amazing read. The writing draws you in and actually makes you care about the characters. It made me laugh and definitely made me cry. I took my time reading it because I didn't want it to end. I became so invested with characters actually all of them even the little brother. But it really felt it was written from someone who had experience of this. Absolutely fabulous read. Can't wait for her next book.

Amazing book to read. For someone who does not usually read many books, this one has kept me wanting to know more at every page. The author has been able to write this novel in a magnificent way that opens up a whole world of sensitive, real and honest emotions people are facing every day.
