Incorporate some of these exercises into our daily lives in order to increase our health

This is a short quick read regarding your Vagus nerve. The first half of the book informs the reader of all the way our health can be affected by this nerve and the relationships it has with different areas of our bodies. The last half of the book dives into exercises to help activate the nerve. There's exercises for all levels, with some as simple as meditation (though I'm terrible at that) or singing, laughing, etc. Overall good book to incorporate some of these exercises into our daily lives in order to increase our health.

Interesting read

I had heard of the vagus nerve, but I had no idea how important it was to so many parts of our lives and bodies. This book does a thorough job explaing what the vagus nerve is, what it does, and its impact. I like that Carter chose to focus on one condition per chapter and explain how it connects to the vagus nerve. Then, the exercises to stimulate the nerve were very helpful and explained well. I took off one star because some of the writing felt very repetitive .

Interesting read

Ok so before I started reading this book I had no clue as to what the Vagus nerve was. I was like... what? What nerve? Well now I do know and so there is no turning back.
I found the information in this book to be very interesting and if you are one of us who has began to get in more touch with how our bodies and everything inside of it works and operates this is the book for you.

Provides a lot of information.

This guide provides a lot of good information without being heavily scientific, and the recommended exercises are simple. I do the neck and breathing exercises throughout the day while working at my desk.

The information is good and practical.
