The sixth novel in the series of about Ib Nielsen has his twin sisters, Ingrid and Eva, as its main characters and takes us the year of 1973 with its oil embargo and other international crises. These events have, however, little bearing on the story of the evolving relationships between the two sisters, who are both coming together again and growing more different. Fine book, but not among the best in the series.
