Rate this book
Voiceless is the extraordinary true story of Marie McCreadie, who is inexplicably struck mute throughout her teenage years.
Marie discovers the true colours of her community as she struggles with the general disbelief and social ostracism caused by her unexplainable condition.
Throughout years of hardship, pain and rejection, Marie turns to herself and finds the inner-strength she never knew she had.
When Doctors discover the cause more than a decade later, Marie finally recovers her voice and her 'Miracle" makes headlines across Australia. But that isn't the end of her journey.

This book was a very interesting read. I went to Primary school with Marie (the Author) up until she emigrated to Australia with her family. I continued to keep in touch with Marie by mail but she never told me of what was going on in her life once she had moved. She kept it all to herself until she decided to write her book.
You never know what is going on in someones life. As the saying goes "No one knows what goes on behind closed doors"
Glad to hear that Marie is now doing well
