Nicole after leaving college gets picked up by the company she interned for during her summers. She enjoyed her time there but she just scored a dream job for a multinational company as a PR Executive.
It’s her last day at the job and her friends want to take her out. It’s not her scene but she just can’t say no. She can’t say no to these people they saw her through a breakup, from the ex-boyfriend she had for ten-years. Mind you she is only twenty-eight.
At the club, after already a few drinks at dinner she is ready to get her dance on. When across the room she makes eye contact with a man, that reminds her after a year or more she is still a woman. Both are attracted to one another.
The man turns out to be a billionaire Chris he is there with some friends who have now made their way to sit with her friends at their table. While his back was turned. He finds her even more attractive and intriguing than she was from across the room.

Chris and Nicole meet when she's out celebrating with some friends about leaving one job for another. Sparks fly between them and she goes home with him. However nothing happens between them because she gets sick on the way to his place so he ends up taking care of her. When she goes to work at her new job she is given a tour and introduced to her team before she's led up to the CEO' office. Imagine her surprise when Chris is her new CEO. She tries to fight her attraction for him but Chris is persistent and she ends up going out with him. While they are out pictures are taken of them so Chris feels that they need to come clean about having a relationship with the board. What will happen when they come out about their relationship? Can Nicole still work there? Will Chris stick up for her?
This is a great story that will draw you in and have you screaming at the cliff hanger. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first part of a new series. In this book, Nicole is going to start a new marketing job and goes out with her former coworkers to celebrate. At the club, Nicole meets Christopher and they have instant chemistry. The next morning Nicole wakes up to find herself in a strange [lace, only to realize she is at Christopher's. Nicole is embarrassed and thinks they had a one night stand, but Nicole was sick and he just took care of her. When Nicole goes into work on Monday, she meets her new boss, Christopher. Nicole wants to keep things professional, but Christopher has other ideas. I enjoyed this new story. I liked Christopher. i think he was used to getting what he wanted and he seemed to really care for Nicole. I like that Nicole stayed at the job and tried to move on. Good one.

What a beginning
Forbidden Attraction is the first book in the My Billionaire Boss series by Gabrielle Snow. This is also the first book I have read by this author and I was not sure what to expect. But the book description intrigued me so I thought I would see if I would like the author's writing and storytelling styles. Well I did on both count with this nicely paced story. The characters are well developed and are somewhat believable. This is a boss/employee romance story but with a most embarrassing and also funny beginning, well actually a prequel.
There is a cliffhanger at the end which sets up how the second book in the series will start. I can't wait to see what happens and where the journey of Chris and Nicole ends up going.

This book had me laughing
For starters what 28 year old woman says im gonna go powder my nose? What gorgeous hunk billionaire CEO says we're in a bit of a pickle here or no way Jose? I'm sorry this book was so hard to take serious. I'd also like to know what happened to his assistant who on the first few pages performed oral sex on him as part of a Friday routine? Oh and the CEO owner of the company wasn't even allowed to know who put complaints in about him but the rest of the board knew. Talk about weakest powerless no spine billionaire ever. It was sadly a terribly written book.

This was good! I’m new to Gabrielle, and this story really grabbed me. Nicole and Chris met at a club on a girls/guys night out. They hit it off pretty well! Nicole started her new job Monday morning and was excited, only to realize her new boss was Chris. As their relationship progressed, things heat up and takes a turn for the worst. A lot happened and I felt the emotions throughout this book. I’m looking forward to Book two to see what happens with Nicole and Chris.

There is the attraction and the chemistry between the characters. It keeps you engaged. I liked the story and the characters. However, we are left with a cliffhanger which just left me devastated.

Cliffhanger
I am not really a fan of cliffhangers, so the fact this book ends on a cliffhanger is a disappointment. However, I gave this 2 stars because it was a bit boring. Not much really happens and the sexy times are too tame.

Cliffhanger
I guess I missed the small detail that this book ends on a cliffhanger. It was boring and dry but I wanted to finish it....now I see no ending? Well that's a kick in the pants.

A solid start to a series. There's passion, intrigue, surprises, and things that make you go hmmm.... What started as a night to celebrate a new adventure takes many twists and turns. I think I know who the disgruntled party is but can't wait to read the next part to confirm. I'm voluntarily reviewing this as part of an ARC for the My Billionaire Boss collection.

It’s ok.
The story is alright but there is no flow to the writing. I kind of feel like it was something I wrote in high school. I’ll still read the next one in the series.
