All-Caps You: A 30-Day Adventure Toward Finding Joy in Who God Made You to Be

Rate this book
Young women are under more pressure than ever before: pressure to be pretty, to be successful, to have a perfect selfie game. Is it possible for them to be their true selves? Or must they fit into the same mold as the rest of their peers? Into this world of ever-growing pressure bursts Emma Mae Jenkins with a message of hope and unabashed joy.

Emma Mae knows what it feels like to be judged and bullied, but she chooses to ignore the haters and instead focus on a message of love and acceptance in Jesus Christ. In this powerful devotional, Emma Mae will show young women what it looks like to live a life of rejoicing in God's love and the incredible excitement they can feel when they "live in ALL CAPS" for Him.

Emma is such a light to this dark world! Her love for the Lord is exuberant on every page. I truly felt like I was talking with a friend while reading this devotional. That’s how Emma writes... like she’s talking to a friend. She put so much heart in this devotional and shares so much truth. She talks about such relevant topics. My favorite chapter was the “Gardener of our thoughts” chapter. This devotional is for a person of any age. I truly believe everyone no matter what age or what season of life you are going through can benefit from this devotional.

I went to college with the author and she was the sweetest person I’ve ever met. I knew I had to read her book when I saw that she had published one!

Keeping in mind that the target audience is younger middle & high schooler girls, not adults, I give it 5 stars! It’s full of very sweet encouragements, reminders, and metaphors to help visualize and understand spiritual concepts. I would definitely want to get this for my daughters one day!

firstly, i think Emma is a really sweet person. i don't know her in person, but i do follow her on my socials. her love and faith in God is on Fire. she is transparent about all the good and bad that has come her way, and reminds me that in through it all, her unwavering Faith is what kept her firm.

this is the first book of her's that i have listened to. her writing style simple yet fully pours out her personality. i think that she challenges all believers to examine their walk with the Lord. she challenges us to reflect on the ways we show His love to ourselves and to others. she reminds me of Timothy, someone so wise yet ridiculed for their age.

i think this a great book for any age, and am looking forward to reading more of her work soon!

It was so lovely to start every single day with Emma Mae Jenkins. She truly knows how to live each day by walking in the word and putting God to praise in everything she does. It’s inspiring to read how I can do the same in my life and then reflect as well on what I can do with the questions at the end of each section. A great devotional for young women who are trying to lift up God’s glory in their lives and find who they are meant to be.

I think that this would be a perfect book young women to read. I will definitely have my daughter read this. This was written by a teenager and is directed toward that audience. While I may not be the intended audience, I was able to gain some wisdom from this book. Age is just a number.

Love love love this devotional and how it pushes you more to loving who God made and calls you to be, not how the World tries to get you to believe.

Loved how even though each devo was short, I finished each day knowing something knew that God loves and cherishes me throughout his word. 🙌🥰
