Traveling bakers, Ruby and Bee, are ready to start their next adventure, in the quaint town of Muffin, Massachusetts. Their food truck is set up in front of the lake, peddling donuts, cakes, and cookies when they’re confronted by the less-than-friendly owner of the local bakery, Misty Murphy.
When Ruby goes to see her with an offering of peace—strawberry glazed donuts—she finds Misty’s dead body instead. Once again, Ruby’s suspect number one in the murder case. The local detectives are convinced that she had the motive, the will, and the way.
Can the baking duo figure out whodunit before it’s too late?

A new town, and what do you know, a new murder. These ladies just can't catch a break.
Ruby and Bee have arrived in Muffin (do you see a pattern, Carmel then Muffin).
Muffins local Baker has been murdered and our lovely duo are the top suspects, why? Because Ruby was being her nice usual self to make nice with the local baker with some doughnuts when she 'tripped' over the baker's body?
I wish that Rosie hadn't changed the setting of the books . I found myself missing Caramel Springs , I had grown so attached to the settings and characters . Especially Sam , Millie, and Shawn . I loved Sam's cozy little inn , it's so honey and lovely . 💞
Our traveling bakers, Ruby and Bee, drive their food truck to Muffin, Massachusetts and set up in front of a pretty lake to sell their donuts, cookies, and cakes. Because the town bakery is not very good, people are delighted to flock to their truck and buy their goodies! But when the owner of the town bakery finds out they are there, she causes a scene at the food truck.
Taking a peace offering of strawberry glazed donuts to the bakery owner, Ruby finds her dead body instead and becomes the prime suspect in the case! Will Ruby and Bee be able to track down the real murderer and clear Ruby’s name? And who else will intervene when they get themselves in trouble?
I just love cozy mysteries! There is always so much squeezed into such a concise, easy story line! The characters are interesting and likable, and there are surprises along the way. Grab your copy and sit back to enjoy mystery at its finest!
The baking duo of Ruby and Bee are at it again when they arrive in the town of Muffin. Their food truck is a big hit selling donuts, cookies, and cakes. Apparently the town hasn’t had much luck with the current bakery. The owner of the bakery makes a scene at the food truck and is later found dead. In come Ruby and Bee to investigate the murder. While investigating, they discover the town has many secrets and some people are not what they seem. Along the way, they figure out the murderer and is introduced to Snowy, the cat. Once I started reading the book, I couldn’t put it down nor could I identify the murderer. It was a nice read and I enjoyed it. Looking forwarding to the next book in the series.

Ruby and Bee have moved on from Maine to Muffin, Massachuesetts. The first day in town they are parked out by the duck pond and doing a roaring business until Misty Murphy throws a hissy fit in front of all their customers. Misty owns the only bakery in town and it is not very good. Ruby decides to bring a peace offering to her but stumbles onto her dead body instead. In order to not be considered the primary suspect, the ladies have to find out who knocked off the nasty baker. There are plenty of suspects as Misty was universally disliked by nearly everyone in the small town. Cannot wait to see what the gals get into next!

Another fun adventure with our favorite bakers in their new temporary home of Muffin, Massachusetts. At first, Ruby was worried that she was going to be yet another suspect in a murder when she found the town's baker dead after having had an argument with her at the food truck. But there were definitely others that wanted to see the disagreeable Misty dead.
There was a good twist before the showdown, and a new little cat got to have a good part in the showdown itself. This new town will take a little getting used to. I still miss Sam, Shawn and Millie from the previous town, but I do like the innkeeper Mrs. Rickleston and Lucy the nail salon technician. I'm sure they'll be in the next adventures.
Well I love this series. The ladies drive into muffin and set up their truck and then a lady starts screaming that they are trying to choke her and then comes up and starts screaming at bee and ruby. Ruby decides she's going to try and make nice with the last and she finds her dead. Ruby and Bee decide they are going to investigate and as usual help the cops with finding the killer. Awesome can't wait till March.

Ruby and Bee take the food truck to the next town with great success. The bakery in Muffin doesn't come up to their standards, so they do a booming business. Unfortunately said owner of that bakery causes a scene at the food truck and is murdered soon after, leaving the police looking at Ruby, who found the body...again. To clear Ruby's name the pair snoop to find out who and why, only to be caught in the murderer's path. They are saved by a most unlikely hero. Well done Ms.Point. I received an ARC to peruse and offer my opinion gratis. This is a fun short read. Perfect to pass a few hours.
Okay a decent read but it seems to gave gotten a bit predictable. An arrival in the new town has them having a run in with an unpleasant woman. A baker that they find later stabbed to death. Will they be blamed? The two start their own investigation. Could it be the estranged sister, the ex-husband, the wealthy gallery owner (who had a physical argument with the deceased) or someone else. Their truck is trashed, her journal stolen and a threatening note left. Will they find the real culprit or will the town suspect them of the murder?
While traveling to a small town with their food truck, Bee and Ruby have a nasty encounter with a woman complaining about their doughnuts. Ruby tries to smooth things over when she finds out who the woman is only to find her dead inside her bakery with a knife in her back! There were witnesses to Ruby and Misty the owner of the bakery. But Misty was a mean woman and well-hated in the community. Who did kill her and why? You will need to read the book to find out how this all pans out. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book from Booksprout. Enjoy!
Ruby and Bee are at it again in a sweet naming town of Muffin, Massachusetts. However when a rival baker that many people in town are not a fan of turns up dead, the ladies find themselves involved in yet another murder as it becomes personal when her journal goes missing and the truck vandalized. Talk about deja vu between what seems like her ex reaching out with demands and trying to win over the "resident runaway" cat.

Ruby and Bee are pleased with their move until the nasty owner of the local bakery makes a scene in front of their truck. However, making amends with some donuts doesn’t work out for Ruby, since someone has killed their new nemesis, and she finds the body. I was sorry to see them move from Carmel Springs, but Muffin proves to be very interesting location. I recommend this novel and the entire Bite-Sized Bakery series.

Another good entry in the bite-sized bakery series. They travel and decide to stop in Muffin, Massachusetts for their next food truck stop. The first day in business they have a highly agitated customer and Ruby decides to try to make amends and take some doughnuts to her at her bakery but finds her dead on the floor of her bakery, having been stabbed in the back. So needless to say Ruby and Bee have to investigate. They are able to figure out who the murderer is when the killer comes after them but a new cat friend saves the day. Looking forward to their next adventure.

Well, I didn’t like this one as much as the ones set in Carmel. Maybe Muffin will grow on me. I just was disappointed by this one. It was too predictable and the characters introduced in Muffin didn’t seem like anything special. Hopefully the next one is better because I really love the first 5 in the series.
A fun set of books to read. The only complaint I have is the heroines need to be stronger and not jumping at their own shadows, however the characters are interesting, bit could use a little more development.
A good series for an afternoon diversion , fun and a good, clean diversion. I would not hesitate to recommend this series.
I absolutely love this series. From seeing what kind of trouble Bee and Ruby find themselves in to the quirky characters you meet along the way. It sucks me in. This being the first book in a new town I wasnt sure if I'd like it as much as the Carmel Springs but Muffin didnt disappoint. If you like cozy mysteries I would highly recommend this series.
While it was tough to start in a new town right when I got really hooked on the last one, it was fun to have a fresh start with new people and new suspects. I loved how this book brought in all new levels that delve more into the past, it adds to the mystery of Daniel. I can't wait to see what else the town of Muffin has in store.
Love these characters. Ruby and Bee are at it again. They have moved to another small town to sell their pastries and on the first day they are there a murder takes place.

This was such a good read. I just found out that there is another book out! I will have to search for it. These books are wonderful. Just love all th creativity that goes into these books.
This time the touring bakers find themselves in Muffin – where the local baker pretty much attacks them and then is found dead. Because Ruby is suspect number on Bee and her have to find the killer! Well written, well plotted and well-paced!
Great book! Ruby and Bee have moved to food truck to Muffin, Massachusetts in hopes of a new adventure. Soon Ruby stumbles into a bakery and finds a body. The two ladies begin their sleuthing in hopes of finding the killer. Love these characters and their ability to solve the crime!
