Kay Marie is a Kansas City native who writes romantic suspense. She works full time as a preschool teacher. For her, writing started out as a hobby. With a some encouragement from some close friends, it became more than just a hobby. I recommend you read Pedal to the Metal before you read this one. Ride or Die is book two in the Savage Menaces MC series.

Buster and Calis story gave me all the feels. They were young love until Buster broke her heart. Now they’ve got a second chance

I couldn’t put this book down it had me captivated from the beginning! This is an entertaining story about how Buster let The One get away but it is by chance that they connect again. Cali has been nursing her heartbreak for years so she decides to follow her dreams and open a bakery/book store. When their paths cross again can she trust him with her heart again? He is on a mission to win her back no matter what. Then the enemies of the club are stalking them and taking their frustrations out on anyone in their path. Will Buster be around to protect Cali? I highly recommend this book! I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!!

I have been waiting for Ride or Die since the last word of Pedal to the Metal, yes I was hooked!!

This was Buster's book book with Cali, he had did her wrong but had always regretted it, so when he found her five years later, he set out to make it up to her and she immediately let him back in. now I was ok since it wasn't like he had cheated on her.. but this was a pretty weak biker group to me, someone is always kidnapped, and there is always a club whore acting up

Ride or Die by Kay Marie is a first for me, and I am hooked!! The story about Ryan/Buster and Cali was beautiful written about the bond these two had since they were 9 years old and later ended up dating . But when Buster left Cali breaking her heart years ago with no reason why, he became of member of the Savage Menaces MC but one thing eluded him, his love for Cali who he let slip away. Years later Cali and Buster meet again and the fireworks between these two was explosives, Cali wanted to hate him but the love she had for him never died. Now Buster will do all he can to have this woman in his life forever. This story had it all danger, violence, drama and plenty of steam but most of all the love and loyalty between the brothers of the MC and the strong women who stand with them was well written. This Ride and Die story will have you on edge from beginning to end as you follow this emotional romance between these two soulmates - Buster and Cali. This is a must read and I can't wait to read the next story in this series. I voluntairly reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

This second installment in the Savages Menaces MC is every bit as good as the first book was!! This is Buster and Cali's story. These two have known each other since 4th grade, however Buster messed up and let her go five years ago, a decision he greatly regrets. Fate brings them back together and their story is one full of action, adventure and much love!! This is a great read and I highly recommend it!!!

Pedal to the Medal by Kay Marie was an awesome read. This is the second book in the Savage Menaces MC series. This book had me laughing, crying, angry, sorrowful. I had all the feels. This book has action, suspense, romance, grief, Russian Bratva, MC, revenge. The book is well written and has very likeable characters. I did not want to put the book down. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

This only book of the series and I’m completely hooked , it’s a second chance romance and has HEA but it’s not straight forward road... of course it isn’t. I really love how characters that were secondary in the first book are sticking their heads over the parapet and silently mouthing ‘me next’ I’ve picked my man out and will be awaiting his story .

What a great second chance romance!! Buster has loved Cali his whole life. Cali never got over Buster. You can feel the love between the two immediately. The other MC members of this series are great as well. It's just an all around great read!! I would definitely recommend!!

Ryan and Cali meet at the age of 9, they were inseparable. Then Ryan left her breaking her heart.
The author then bring us to the present Ryan aka Buster move to work with Savage Menaces Mc. There they reconnect. Buster knows he has to get Cali forgiveness. After some thought Cali gives them a second chance falling deeper in love but fate is twisted.

Cali thinks Buster is dead all the MC does but miracles happen.
Buster is alive . Cali and him married with a child on the way. The author gives the reader everything they need in a book. Excellent series

Definitely a page turner, and an on the edge of your seat story. This book had a little bit of everything; action, suspense, intrigue, and of course a beautiful romance. What an invigorating ride to go on with the Savage Menaces MC! A must read.

Buster

Buster met Cali when they were 9. Friendship turned into love then he just left. She didn't know that he was back in town. Minx told Buster about the girl who had a coffee shop in town and come to find out it was Cali. My biggest complaint was with the wreck. Most MC would rush to the crash and not take the word of others. On to the next book. Looking forward to Shade's story.

Buster and Cali were such a sweet couple completely made for eachother. He screwed up and then has to win her back. This series is quickly becoming on of my favorites I cant wait to read the next book.

I really enjoyed Cali and Buster's story, even though for a little while it dragged for me, but when it picked up speed, it really took off. The storyline was exciting, intriguing and sometimes a bit comical (when it came to the interactions of the supporting characters and the main characters). Having read the Savage Menace series and getting to know the guys who drive cars rather than ride bikes, getting more into their stories is interesting to say the least. Buster (Ryan) and Cali have known each other since they were children and became best friends before they took that next step when they were in high school and became an item. But Ryan breaks her heart and leaves without a word, but the love they had for one another did not end with the break up and years later when they find out that they are in the same town, friends with the same people, Buster has to get her to meet him and talk. He needs to apologize for they way he left, even if she doesn't want to have anything to do with him, he needs to give her what he wasn't able to back then.

But the trouble between Buster and Cali isn't in the only problem that Buster and the MC have. The cartel is sniffing around and the MC now has a problem that they need to handle because the ladies in their lives are put in danger now.

I loved the story, I loved Buster and Cali as well as their close friends. I can't wait to read the next book and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND SERIES TO ALL WHO TO READ!

When regulars Minx and Rivet, Rivet surprises her asking for a whole cake, some of the brothers of the Savage MC are having a housewarming, BBQ and bonfire, reminding her of a bonfire she last went to, when her heart got shattered and she never saw Ryan again.
At the bonfire, Buster can’t ignore it, Minx bring an apple cake from a girl called Cali that owns a bookstore, bakery, coffee shop, but when he sees a girl that reminds him of Cali leaving he know he has to know if it’s the same Cali that’s had his heart, even if she won’t talk to him.
Cali admits she had fun at the bonfire, and Wren is surprised that it was her brother’s he’s part of the Savage Riders, and recently moved from Arizona, then the door to Novel Bunch opens and her heart stops.
Realising that Cali is his Cali when he walks in the store, everyone quickly realises that they know each other, Minx wants him to explain, but he won’t talk to anyone before Cali, having to leave for Church he makes sure to leave a note only where she will find it. All he can do is try to get Cali to talk to him, explain what happened all those years ago and see if she will give him the chance, he thought he lost forever.
Cali can’t believe that Buster is Ryan, he left a note he wants to apologise, but she doesn’t know him anymore it’s been five years, she knows deep down she loves him, but he built the wall around her heart and can she let him through it again.

so much missing…

I really struggled with this story. This is my second read from this author, and like the first book in this series, it feels like a work in progress. These are quick reads, but I’d rather have a more fleshed out story, better connections to the characters, and of course, more romance. The heat level from this author is mediocre. Chapters end abruptly. Just feels like a lot of missed potential.
I can’t properly review this story without spoilers, so here they come.
SPOILERS
When it comes to this story feeling like we’re missing details - like in the first book, there’s so much we already “know” about the crews in Texas and Arizona that it feels like there are books I haven’t read, but aren’t these new characters? People die - or in Buster’s case - are presumed dead, and this club and its members just seem to pick up and move on without any real impact. No funerals or memorials for Jager or Buster. They just take for granted that Buster was in that car, and there’s no follow up on no body? And there’s Minx’s rape in book one - if you’re going to include such a triggering, detailed scene, you don’t gloss over her recovery.
These are quick reads, so I’ll keep going until I get super bored or something else keeps my attention.

Ryan/Buster has been in love with Cali forever.The biggest mistake he ever made was to leave town and her behind.When he felt that he's be holding her back from achieving her dream of opening a bakery an book place .So he broke her heart and his own by leaving .Now he's a part of Savage Riders a brother part of the Savage Menaces MC,it brings money and anything he could want except Cali.When the president of Savage Menaces MC old lady keeps talking about a great bakery that is also a book place Buster thinks of Cali.Could Cali be there?Can he get Cali to give him a second Chance.?There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
