First off, that cover is fucking delicious!! Jonny and Wander together is just perfection!!!
This story is quite different to what I’m used to from Jenika. On the whole, I enjoyed it, although at times I found the chopping and changing between the two guys quite hard to deal with. I have to say that I do like that JS didn’t go down your typical MFM route, and kept Sofies relationship with Jareth and Ryker separate, but sometimes it just didn’t work for me.
This is my first poly romance book and I really enjoyed it. Sofie had two men: Ryker who she lost her virginity to when she was younger and Jareth who was her boss. Sofie loved Ryker differently than she loved Jareth. They both gave her the things she was looking for in a relationship. She had two men and they created one perfect man. It was a short read but it had plenty of romance and heat. You won't want to put down once you get started.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
"Sofie's Boys" was a ok read but it lacked any type of conflict or drama that I would expect being in a throuple or poly relationship.
Maybe if Jenika Snow had started the story from the beginning of both relationships with Ryker and Jareth instead of mid-stream, I would have enjoyed the storyline more.
Sofie was in a terrible spot. She has loved Ryker almost as long as she has known him. They grew up together and lost their virginity to each other. She cannot image her life without him. Then there is Jareth, older, dominant and her boss. Loving both of them, she is upfront with them about the other as they each give her what she needs. Both of them are okay with the situation and they have a schedule to spend time with her. As time goes by, Sofie wants more than the status quo. Can her boys be willing to move to making their relationships permanent?
Oh my goodness, I have to say right now that this was seriously hot! This is not a menage romance, but is poly as they do not spend sexy times together all three of them. Sofie is with Jareth for three days, then Ryker for three and one day to herself. It has worked well for a while but it is to the point that Sofie wants more. She wants to move their relationships into a permanent situation. Both of these guys are seriously alpha and don't tolerate anyone sniffing around her. That said, they are both fine with the other man being in her life. This was straight up an amazing, emotional, passionate romance that blew me away! Jenika Snow really wrote something unique and beautiful. She is so flipping talented and I love everything she has written. I hope we see more of this type of book from her in the future. All the stars for Sofie's boys!
It was OK. It was safe, with no dramas read. Though, there was a couple things I didn't liked or was confused. The story starts when they all into this not traditional relationship. So, I wasn't sure how they come to that. Sure Sofie confessed her feelings and all, but did the guys meet each other before the dinner with her mother? It gave a feeling that they hadn't. Which feels off. Wouldn't you want to meet a guy, your girl is in love it, and to see what kind of a person he is? There was a moment, I think it was Jareth, who says while at the beginning he wasn't OK, but then he thought of how that other guy will take care of her too. My point. I'm not sure, I liked how this triangle works. I do like reading menage but if at the end, it's only two people, I prefer no sharing then. And this trio is somewhere in the middle. It's first time I 'meet' this version, so like I said, not sure if it works for me. Another thing I didn't liked is not related to main characters. I didn't liked how Sofies mothers guy was portrayed. It started well and then... I think, it could have gone better without him being an a$$hole. Especially, as I imagining it being something serious and we could get a story on that couple too. But after that moment, I'm not interested. The guy came too immature.
I never read a Poly relationship.. so this was different for me... idk how i felt about it.. the guys had their own time with their girl.. 3 days for one and 3 for the other and one day for her solo.. :/ mmmm idk i just felt something was missing for me.. i just didn't click with it.. :(
The sex was good with each guy.. just idk.. this really did annoy me..
No ow/om drama, no cheating, Sexy times, No virgins

First off how manly and hot is this cover! What a fantastic read Sofie's Boys was, and this was full of hot and steamy scenes! Sofie is in a relationship with with each of these men Ryker & Jareth and they are ok with this! Can this work long term???
I loved this book. It was a surprise read for me. I love Jenika's writing so when I saw this one I knew I had to read it.
We get Sofie who is in love with two men and in a relationship with each of them. They share her but the still have their alpha ways when they are together. Then Sofie decides she wants more from these men and tells them.
Ryker is her best friend since childhood and she has lost her virginity to him and has loved him for a long time but then she meets her boss Jareth who brings out something in her that makes her long for more.
When she tells the men she wants more and what exactly she wants they men will have to choice to stay or walk away.
We each give something different This is an intense little book that is a little outside of the author’s norm. I love how each character and each relationship is fully developed and can stand alone, but when you add all three into the mix you get a richness that would otherwise be lacking. This book was the perfect read and I loved the epilogues. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.
Trevor, Jareth, and Sofie had an unusual relationship, but it worked! This story was perfect. Each of the characters came alive for me and I looked at life through their eyes. It was a beautiful love story that I didn't want to end. I loved the double epilogue at the end.
This is a great story about Sophie and her two men, Ryker and Jareth. She loves them both fiercely and needs them both in her life forever. Will she be able to keep them both? Grab this wonderful book today and find out!
I love reverse harems, or at least enjoy most of them. But that is not what Sofie's Boys are about. This is a story about Sofie being in love with two very different men that get their individual time with her, and that is about it. If you have ever wondered what a ploy romance is about this book hints at it.
I enjoyed Sofie and her boys Ryker and Jareth. And Sofie does get the love she wants and needs for herself. But I gave this book three stars because these three were already in love, to begin with. So there was no 'beginning' for me. Ryker and Sofie were friends before they apparently fell into the back seat and screwed, and are now in a romantic relationship which is cute but he is exceptionally mushy. Then you have Jareth this daddy figure but also her boss where she works for him and yet he bosses her at work during lunch, but nobody is supposed to know what is going on. Really?
So, all in all, I gave this book a 3 star. I could take it or leave it. Sofie is a young girl with two guys that love her, but I don't know something about this book makes me feel itchy.
Sophie's Boys is just a tad different than what I normally read. Here we have a poly relationship. Its where Sophie has a relationship with two men separately. I really did not think I would like the dynamic of that. But I found myself so jealous of her. Ryker and Jareth are both alpha males, but they do this for her. How she split her time, was interesting and it worked. Jareth is her boss, and older. She needs something different from him that she gets from Ryker, who she grew up with. She needs them both in her life, and this is the way they both can have her. Some what different from what I have read before, but here with Janika, it works. Give it a try. I did, and I did not regret it.
I love a good alpha sandwich. Yet this books starts off with the arrangement of their relationship already in full swing. Both of the men are accepting of each other and they live happily ever after. I wanted some of the beginning parts of their story; the emotional pull of trying to choose between them. I wanted to see some conflict. Give me some Drama!! If you are looking for some general erotica between two handsome alpha men this is the book for you.
I wanted so much more from this book. I thought that we would get to go on this whirlwind ride where there's angst and conflict and struggle. We would watch Sofie fall in love with two men from the beginning and navigate that messy and complicated situation together.
But there is virtually no conflict in this book. We start off with this relationship already well established ; I even worried I'd somehow accidentally picked up a sequel because I felt like I missed so much. All the information presented about the main three in this situationship reads like a recap. Readers don't get to discover much on their own. We don't get to fall in love with the heroes alongside Sofia, so I truly felt disconnected from both Jareth and Ryker.
Because there's no real conflict, this book was pretty boring. Even the smut, for me, didn't have a single prayer of saving it because even that got boring (which is WILD).
Most of this book consists of one of the characters telling us things about another or about a relationship. No characterization or growth was shown to us---I felt like I was being spoon-fed everything.
Unfortunately, I'm noticing some parallels amongst other books by this author and so I'm starting to think that maybe their work just isn't for me.
I really liked all of the characters in this story. Ryker and Jareth were not hot and amazing in their own way. I could see why Sophie loved them both and couldn't choose between them. I was excited to read a couple of chapters in both men's POV. My only complaint was that it was too short. I would have like to get a better glimpse into their relationship, especially once they all moved in together.

I loved this book. It was full of love and dominance from both men. Sofie has the best life. Two men who adore her and are ok sharing her with the other. Ryker is her childhood beat friend and Jareth her boss. Its not ideal to some but if works for her. Sofie just sounds super sweet and full of life when she is with them. Both men give her what the other can't. Makes for a wonderful story and romance. I enjoyed every page.
Method:ebook Rating:4/5 stars H rating: 4/5 - Jareth H rating: 4/5 - Ryker h rating:4/5 - Sofie Drama:3/5 Thoughts:Quick fun read. Really enjoyed this one. Would've liked to see what happened with the mom and her boyfriend.
When I first started reading I felt like I was missing something, like this was a novella after an established book was released. But there was no previous book.
I did enjoy this and loved the relationship between the 3 main characters.
Jumping in mid relationship felt a bit of but this was a super quick, fun time and the idea was solid. If it had been a bit more fleshed out this easily could have been like a 4 star read
I wasn’t really into to it, it seemed weird that she was with one, then the other while still with him, and then she was now with both, but no-one else. It saved itself in the end, with them all being together
Book was very cliche and didn’t have a solid storyline. If you’re looking for something short and smutty this would be perfect for you but the writing fell short for me.
