You can never run away from your demons…

Thirty-two-year-old Dylan Reynolds has devoted himself completely to his family. He’s tried to put his past behind him, climbing the corporate ladder at a prominent Chicago newspaper. But when his daughter, Hunter, begins speaking of a new and mysterious friend, Dylan can’t help but fear that his past has come back to haunt him.

Dylan watches in horror as Hunter’s new imaginary friend appears more and more frequently in their everyday lives. His wife is convinced that it’s just the active imagination of a seven-year-old. But Dylan knows better. The erratic behavior, the hushed discussions, the chill he gets whenever Hunter speaks of her friend. The signs are all too familiar for him to ignore.

Determined to settle the score, Dylan turns to tarot reader and trusted friend, Evelyn Nardini. But neither of them is prepared for how deadly the game has truly become.

All Dylan knows is that he must do everything he can to save his family. Or face an end at the hands of an evil far darker than he could have ever imagined…

As Dylan starts thinking that he has finally put his past behind him - and the demon is gone for good - he starts a family and moves forward with a professional career.
However, when his young daughter begins exhibiting some weird behaviors, Dylan begins to worry, but his wife brushes off his concerns. When Evelyn comes to visit, things take an even weirder turn, and he is forced to confront the possibility that the demon might now be targeting his daughter.

Get ready for a ride, this book is going to take some interesting twists! I won't give you the deets, you have to read the book for yourself!

I certainly did not see this ending coming. It was a jaw-dropper, that's for sure. Dylan Reynolds is now an adult with a wife and daughter and an up and coming career as a journalist in Chicago. Just when he starts to think his demons are gone forever, his daughter, Hunter, starts talking about her imaginary friend. Things go downhill pretty fast from there. Suffice it to say that there are very few dull moments for Dylan, or the reader, in this series.
What I found interesting about this series was the information the author provided about demons and how to defeat them. There is more to it than simply holding up a crucifix and uttering a few incantations. Trust me, you don't want to have to do it too often.
I highly recommend this series and I hope to read more from this author.

This was an awesome end to the series? Why question mark well does evil ever die? Not really, Anyway these 3 books are an awesome possession series I really enjoyed as this is exactly the kind of thing I love reading.

This was the final chapter of Dylan's life with the demon. Dylan is now 32. married and father to a daughter. There are some twists to the story but I saw them coming and predicted some of them almost from the beginning. Still, it was a nice conclusion and a good story.
