Billionaire's Fake Bride

He’s my biggest enemy everand he just proposed to me.

Jerk.

Apparently, breaking my heart the first time around wasn’t enough.
He wants to do it all over again.
I remember everything so well.
He was my cocky jock boyfriend, and I was the cheerleader.
Head over heels in love.
The cuddles and giggles kind of love.
Now he’s a big shot.
Still cocky. Still a jerk.
And he needs a bride.
A fake bride.
There’s no way I’m going to say yes to this madness.
Nope.
Absolute not.
Unless…

Good God, just no!!

I don’t know how any person could give this book multiple stars. Not only is the title generic (this book is a prime example of why I avoid these kinds of titles) the writing is generic as well. The “hero” is my absolute least favorite type of hero. I can read about all types, nice guys, smart guys, athletes etc, and I love a good a$$hole story. What I absolutely cannot stand is “hero’s” who are douchey smarmy, basically waste of space guys who think (along with everyone else in the book) that they are nice guys and don’t acknowledge what they have done. This is that story. The guy was a selfish douche who made long term promises to his high school girlfriend only to move away for college without saying goodbye. He had went all out with the commitment swearing to video chat every night. He bailed and became a giant slut of course, sleeping his way through all of the college and NFL groupies. He comes back years later and of course (now that he’s screwed hundreds more women) decides he still cares for the high school sweetheart. More than that he decides (not caring how much he has hurt her) he needs her to pretend to be his bride so that he cane get a job making more money he even though supposedly he is a “billionaire”. They have a little confrontation about what happened in the past and he has the balls to be hurt that she didn’t understand his reasoning for bailing (he had Daddy issues and goodbyes were hard for him) somehow she ends up apologizing to him for sending him a letter calling him on his bull crap. He doesn’t really apologize for anything, not leading her on, leaving without a goodbye so that he could enjoy the single life benefits of playing football. Nothing. He manages to manipulate her into sleeping with him, the fake marriage, falling back in love etc. He paid no consequences for his choices, did nothing to earn her forgiveness etc. This is probably the worst plot I’ve read in a long time. He treated her like complete crap, got to sleep around, come back when he was ready to settle down and pick up where they left off. The whole thing was a disgusting joke.

A Second Chance to Trust and Love

Tammy and Nate grew up in Somerset, Kentucky and dated each other all through high school. He was the team quarterback, and she was the head cheerleader—the perfect story of young love until it wasn’t. Both had their wishes for college fulfilled—Tammy was going to NYU to pursue a career in event planning—weddings—and Nate was on his way to play college football at UK with dreams of being a professional player. But when he left first, he left without saying good-bye to Tammy. He was not trying to hurt her; he was trying to protect himself—his heart. He did not want closure, not right away. And after weeks had passed, and he was emotionally ready to talk, he called only to have his call blocked. She had grown tired and too hurt to keep the lines of communication open and wrote a crushing letter that addressed her pain. And from that experience, she had grown wary of men, never really trusting any man again.

Now, more than a decade later they are thrown back together by fate and proximity and shared friends. He had followed his dream to the Superbowl, but it also brought the end of his career when on the wining pass, he was tackled, and his knee was shattered. He won and lost on one play. But the end of his pro career, with the salary accumulated over years as a winning quarterback, did not leave him downcast and destitute. Nate retires to the New England area—to the Hamptons—where he has become buddies with Jake and Zeke. But what kind of game is life now playing with him? The girl from his past is back. And this time it is life that tackles him when he learns that she is the best friend of his best friend’s wife. And, she was also the wedding planner from Zeke and Claudia’s wedding. And he needs that girl—he needs a wife to secure his dream job as general manager of his former team. Nate needs the girl whom he had allowed to get away, but had never forgotten and never gotten over, back in his world.

JP Comeau’s sweet story of redemptive, healing and maturing love is well-paced with moments of life’s challenges and even risks balanced with the growing trust and love of the two central characters, offering both tension and satisfaction for the reader. I enjoyed another opportunity to explore the world of Comeau’s Hamptons friends, bringing a satisfactory and happy resolution of love for the three former billionaire bachelors, now billionaire loving and loved husbands and fathers.

This is my first read from J.P. comeau ,,,, I am going to read more from this author ,,,,,

Nathaniel T Jackson or Nate as his friends call him and Tammy Burke grew up together in the same town of Somerset Kentucky,,, they went together in high school ,,, Nate was the star quarterback and Tammy was the head cheerleader,,, until after graduation he thought he'd be the better for leaving w/out saying goodbye,,,he assumed he would talk to her in a few days, weeks,,,, sometime and she would forgive him ,,,, but she got to him first with a very hurtful note she had handwritten before she headed for New York University and then blocked him from her life altogether ,,, Nate went on thru college playing football as the star quarterback and was hand picked by the "Lexington Colonels" NFL team ,,,, He took them to the Superbowl against The "Eagles" and the winning pass hit his receiver in the endzone winning the game for them at the exact same time the 3 Eagles tackles sacked him and the result was a shattered knee and the end of his career ,,,,, now he's had a knee replacement surgery and is in therapy, and NOT playing football,,,,, he has his own mansion in the Hamptons,,,, his parents are both deceased so, the only one's there are for him are his 2 best friends , Zeke and Riker ,,,, Zeke is with Claudia and they have a son Jackson and Riker is with Elena and the have 3 children ,,,

Tammy Burke works out of the Guest House she is renting from her best friend's Claudia's mother Eilene's Estate ,,,, she graduated high school from a small town called Somerset in Kentucky,,, she was the head cheerleader and she was with the all star quarterback from their school , Nate Jackson ,,, they both knew they were going to different colleges ,,,, she was going to New York University,,,, he left without a single word so she sent him her thoughts in a final letter then she blocked him ,,,, but now, just when she's trying to get her Wedding Planner business off the ground, she needs to help out someone she had never wanted to see again ever ,,,, Nate ,,,, !!! This could mean the make or break of her company ,,,, what else is she to do besides throw down strict ground rules,,,, yeah, that will,,,,,, work,,, ,,,,right ,,,,, ???

I really enjoyed this "Eneny to Lovers" story from J.P. Comeau ,,,, I'm very glad I took a chance and took her ARC ,,, there is some action, some adventure and some very hot scenes going on ,,,,, I will honestly be trying more from this author ,,,, I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,,,

J.P. Comeau has written a 5-star book that has Nate in a situation in which he needs Tammy's help. Tammy and Nate had been high-school sweethearts and then he left to go to college without even telling her goodbye. Now they are both in the Hamptons, her as a wedding planner and him recovering from a knee injury. He had been the quarterback for The Lexington Colonels football team. They both have friends that live in the Hamptons and one of them has a party and Tammy is invited and told to bring her business cards. A few days after the party Nate gets a call from the owner of the Colonels and told that they are wanting him to come in for an interview for the General Manager for the team. As Nate is talking to the Owner Mack, he is told that they were looking for someone who was at least in a long-term relationship. Nate thought about Tammy and said that he was engaged. Mack said that was good. Now Nate has to get Tammy to go along with this fake marriage. Things work out and Tammy and Nate go through with the wedding and honeymoon. They were having a good time together again. Now it is time for Nate to leave and start his new job and Tammy is upset with the thought of him leaving. They talk or text each other daily and he sometimes flies in on the weekends. Things are going well for them until Tammy finds out she is pregnant. She calls her friend and tells her about what is going on and how she is feeling about Nate. She is told that maybe she just needs to get away for a little while and Tammy agrees, but then she remembers that Nate is supposed to be flying in that weekend so she texts him and tells him that she is going to be busy the whole weekend. When Nate calls her she doesn't answer her phone. This worries Nate and every time he calls her or texts her, he doesn't get an answer or reply.
Will Tammy decide to tell Nate about the baby and give him a chance?
Can Nate prove to Tammy that he is not going to leave again?
This was such a wonderful book to read and I would recommend it to anyone.

A second chance at a forever love or will it stay fake?

Billionaire's Fake Bride is the third book in the Hamptons Filthy Rich series and is about Nate and Tammy. They grew up together in Kentucky and were high school sweethearts,. of course he was the star quarterback of the football team and she was the head cheerleader. They were both accepted to college but it saw them separated with him going to the University of Kentucky on a full scholarship to play on the football team and her to NYU for event planning. When Nate left for school he did not say goodbye to Tammy and she was left with a broken heart and a very huge learning experience not to trust men.
After college they both pursued their careers which saw Nate turning pro and winning the SuperBowl, a childhood dream. But he also lost his career on that day after a bad tackle left him too badly injured and no way to ever come back. He then moved to the Hampton's and became friends with Jake and Zeke, both from the previous books in the series. Meanwhile Tammy stayed in NYC and became a successful wedding planner. Life brings Tammy and Nate back together in the Hamptons at a party. It is good timing as a few days later he ends up needing a fake fiance because of a little lie he told to to the owner of his former team when he had phoned him about flying down for an interview for the GM position. It seems they were looking for a person that was committed, and the that included in a relationship. So Nate now has to get Tammy to go along with things. When she agrees it may become more real than either of them ever expected...........or will it?

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This is beautiful love story about Nate who had a career ending injury playing as a NFL QB and is home recovering in the Hamptons. Nate is having a hard time with no purpose and thinks of his high school ex, Tammy who he let go after seeing her at his friend’s wedding. Tammy has recently moved into her best friends cottage and started her own wedding planning company. Nate is given the opportunity to interview as the general manager for his football team. Nate and Tammy reconnect again at a dinner party who are set up by their mutual friends. Prior to the interview Nate is told they are looking for a more settled person so Nate comes up with a plan for Tammy to be his fake fiancé and in return he’ll help her with introductions to the wealthy in the Hamptons. These two get engaged and married and really enjoy spending time together. Once Nate leaves for the season they try to spend weekends together and even miss one another. Tammy is enjoying all the new weddings she is planning and Nate is learning his new job. When Tammy discovers why she is sick she runs away to figure out what to do. Nate on the other hand knows something is wrong and comes back to find her and find out what’s going on. These two have a natural connection and find they love one another and need to open their hearts and learn to trust to be able to move on. Second chance – high school sweethearts. I imagine this is the last book of the Hampton's Filthy Rich Novels. The first book was about Ricker with Elena, the second was about Zeke and Claudia and now this is the third of the billionaire playboys Nate and Tammy. They were both high school sweethearts, but when he went off to college, he didn’t even let her know, didn’t say goodbye or anything. She sends him a hateful letter but apparently there was a letter from him that she never received.

Years go by and now Nate is a famous football quarterback with an injured knee and no job, but he was able to throw the ball for the Superbowl win! Tammy is a wedding planner and has just moved to the Hampton's to see if she can get bigger clientele. Well her BFF Claudia is there to help her out, but then she meets up with Nate who is a BFF to Zeke, Claudia’s husband. Everything takes off from there and they begin to interact, well Nate is being offered a great job but he has to have a wife/family so he makes up a lie that he has just reunited with his high school love and proposed to her… well you know nothing going fake will last long. This was a great story. I love how J.P. incorporated the last two books characters to end with a bang!

Tammy and Nate had a history together as high school sweethearts, but their story stopped when he went away to college without a word to Tammy. Understandably broken, she attempts to block him from her life and move on. She pursued her degree at NYU, as she always wanted, and he became a football star in the NFL. His dream was to be a Superbowl champion, but his dream became a nightmare, when his career ended on a winning play. He didn't want to walk away from the game, however, and began a new dream...to manage the team for which he played. A decade after their split, the two are back together again, at least in proximity. Friends arrange for them to meet over dinner, not knowing that they have already met, and so much more. The feelings are still there but are they enough to build a future of trust? Nate needs her when he is scheduled for an interview for the job he hopes for, but he needs to be in a committed relationship. Asking Tammy for a favor seems the logical choice. But this is only fake, not forever. With what they've already shared, the lines blur and it feels so real. It gets even more real when she discovers she's pregnant and she runs, not trusting that Nate will want to be a part of this new life. Love, despair and redemption all come together to create a story that is complex and satisfying. Ms. Comeau has created another gem!

The perfect fake bride for the perfect fake wedding…but was it?
I was offered an ARC of this book through Booksprout but had no time at that moment. Ms. Comeau was kind enough to send me an ARC of it to review as I could. It comes highly recommended…This was a sweet romantic story of second chances, best friends and finding out what is really important in life.
Nate is a former star football quarterback who won his team the Super Bowl but at the last moment, after the winning pitch and catch, he was brutally tackled/sacked which ended his career. After a knee replacement he’s just trying to figure out his next step. He never thought his football career would end so soon. Now what?!
Tammy has come to stay in her BFF’s guest house to get her wedding planning business started in the elite community of The Hamptons, NY. She’s doing OK but she’s not getting the billionaires’ weddings to plan. How to do this?!
Oh! Did I not say that they were an item in high school? Oh yeah…the cheerleader and the football star.
Nate is offered a job on his old team but he needs a fiancée. Thus, begins the plan to fake it until they make it. The reader can see where this is going, but what a fun journey to go on. What happens when feelings become all too real? I loved the not-so-surprising ending. If you’re a sucker for Happy Endings like me, get this book.

This is about first love that you have hung on to until you are reconnected through mutual friends. There is considerable hurt there because Tammy never gone the apologize she needed from Nate. He left for college without saying goodbye after they had discussed making the relationship work long distance. They are brought together at a dinner party by a couple who are mutual friends and it does not go as badly as expected. Nate then ask for a meeting so they can be alone and get the past over and start anew. During the discussions he is called for a job interview working as general manager for his former football team. He wants this job so when he is told he needs a wife and family he lies stating he is engaged to his high school sweetheart, Tammy. Tammy is a wedding planner who moved to the Hampton's so she could do big fancy over the top weddings for the rich and famous. It is not working for her because she is not in that clique. Nate decides he needs to tell Tammy what he has done and ask her to be his fake finance. He is well knew in the Hampton's where he is living and uses a plan to talk Tammy into the arrangement by helping her get in with the rich and famous to increase her business to meet her dreams. It is a win- win situation for the both of them. Of course they are the usual ups and downs but love wins out in the end. Enjoy this read.

3,5* Pretty good and enjoyable book

This review will be a little bit different to what I normally write. I have honestly enough of reviews that fully and totally criticise book because it has characters acting this or that way and being rejected because they are not realistic. Do we read fiction or should this be non-fiction book? I'm slightly confused.
Yes some of the situations are very not likely to happen in the real world but I read fiction for very simple reason which is not to have to deal with what is going or not going on in real life.
And back to the story and book. I liked it but least of the three about the pack of friends from Hamptons. Somehow Nate was always distant to me and that also happened when I was reading his story. But it was quite interesting plot, maybe already used in other books but still fresh and well written. At the beginning I thought it will be cliche billionaire's fake bride to get company or inheritance but was positively surprised when I learned what it all was about and also benefited both parties. Enjoyable, without unnecessary drama, quick and smooth read.

Billionaire's Secret Baby is the conclusion to J.P. Comeau's Hamptons Filthy Rich Series. It is a good ending to the series. This is the final remaining Billionaire Bachelor's story. Nate has watched his two best friends fall in love and have kids over the past few years. He has been both glad to retain his bachelor status but also a little jealous of the happiness they have both found.

The characters for the most part have all been introduced in the previous books but Nate and Tammy are developed much more fully in this story. The Story line unique as it is an Enemies to Lovers, a fake fiance, as well as a Second Chance Romance. As with all Ms. Comeau's books, the story flows seamlessly and ends with a HEA but this one finishes with all three of the former playboys and their families having HEA's and being one big happy "family" of sorts.

I look forward to the next series as I am a huge JP Comeau fan. I have read and own all of her works thus far and expect to continue for year to come.

They are high school sweethearts with that special kind of love. Stars in their eyes where they take on the world and dreams come true. At lease that what Tammy thought when her and Nate dated in high school and fell in love. Off to college going their separate ways, Nate heart was hurting for leaving Tammy and Tammy heart was broken because Nate did not say goodbye. Misunderstandings, blocked calls, hurting hearts and drama when later as times passes Nate and Tammy are thrown back together again. Thru mutual friends they reconnect. Hurt, lost love and Nate needing Tammy to secure a job. This was a great love story. Circumstances brought them to cross passes again. I can not wait to read the friends story of how they found love and friendship with the other friends. This book was entertaining and a page tuner. Great Job on a book well done.

This is the third book in J.P. Comeau’s Hampton’s Filthy Rich series and is the story of the last bachelor in this series. Nate and Tammy dated in high school until he abruptly left for college without a word which hurt her. A decade later they meet again. Tammy is now a wedding planner and Nate is a pro football player who has a career ending knee injury. Nate is offered the general manager position for his football team but he needs to find a fake wife. Tammy agrees to help him and in return he will introduce her to some high powered clients for her business. All goes well until Tammy finds herself pregnant by Nate and does not know what to do so she disappears without a word to Nate in order to think. I recommend this read with its descriptive characters and a plot with trust issues, emotional growth, steamy romance, and reclaimed love.

Nate and Tammy were high school sweethearts. Yet when it was time for college he left without telling her. Tammy was upset and wrote him a letter letting him know. Now years later Nate football career has ended and both him and Tammy are living in the Hamptons. Nate asks his friends about her and they mention what she's doing and where she's at. When her friends tell her maybe its time to reconnect with Nate and let go of the past she agrees. However nothing could've prepared her for him asking her to be his fake wife so he can get and keep a coaching job. Will she agree to help him out? Can they move forwards together and forget their rocky history?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

They were high school sweethearts. Nate left for college without saying goodbye. Tammy was brokenhearted. Years later they ran into each other at their best friend's wedding. Nate won the Super Bowl and lost his career on the last play of the game. He's back in the Hampton's without a clue for the future. His best friends tell him, Tammy's moved to town and maybe they should meet again as mature adults. This is their story, filled with untruths told, dreams filled, and answers finally answered. There's hot, steamy sex between them, fake wedding, honeymoon then distance relationship. Can they find love and fulfill there dreams. Read this third book in this series. You won't regret the time, it's well worth the read.

Billionaire’s Fake Bride was the third book in the Hamptons Filthy Rich Series, but it was great as a standalone. High school lovers get a second chance at love. Nate and Tammy both got hurt when Nate left town without saying goodbye when he went to college and Tammy didn’t give him a chance to explain. Now years later she discovers he did send her a letter, but she never received it. Can they recapture their friendship and love they had in high school? And will a long-distance relationship work now they are older? This was a fun book and had great characters. The author did a great job engaging the reader and letting the reader feel the emotions of the characters.

Nate is brody, sexy, demanding, heart breaking alpha male, and he will do whatever it takes to get the girl. Apparently, breaking my heart the first time around wasn’t enough. Tammy was a cheerleader that fell in love with Nate who was a jock and he happened to break her heart. But when Nate gets stuck in a sticky situation he turns to Tammy to see if she can help him out. Will she say yes and help him out or does she risk getting her heart broken again by him. If you like second chance romances this is the book for you.

Accepting The Hand Of Fate:
By Korkoi -
This story is about two people, who finally realise that the love they had for each other when they were younger, never went away. Unfortunately, their self denial, insecurities and false bravado, only made their journey navigating the journey to a happy ending, more interesting. I absolutely loved this mesmerising story, from the first word, until the very last word. It is a beautifully written page turner, that will grab your attention and not let go until the end.

This is book 3 in JP Comeau's Billionaire Bachelors second chance series. This story is about Nate and Tammy who were high school sweethearts. Nate left for college with no goodbyes which broke Tammy's heart. She has hated Nate ever since for the way he treated her. Nate wrote a letter explaining his abupt departure. Did Tammy get it? He still thought of her and never had another serious or long-term relationship. Tammy is best friends with the wives of Nate's best friends. Fate? Nate has a business proposal for Tammy that may help both of them. Will Tammy be interested?? Delightful story.

Nate didn't know how to say goodbye, even temporarily. Tammy didn't know how to accept Nate leaving her.

Yet fate stepped in and mutual best friends brought them together at a friend's wedding. But teased them enough to not give them time to connect but prove there was something still between them.

Of course with the teaser out the way they were brought together again. Then we experience laughter, fear, trust issues, back stories and love. I really enjoyed this novel and the friendship involved. Part of a series but a standalone with a HEA ending.

Billionaire's Fake Bride is the last book in the Hampton Filthy Rich series and it does not disappoint.

This book give you look at Tammy and Nate's relationship, past and present. They were high school sweethearts that fate stepped in and separated until it was time for them to come back together. Their feelings for each other never left and being together again only made them grow.

As you read the story you see how the other characters from the other books play a part and they all become a big unique family.

I have absolutely loved reading this book. It definitely grabbed my attention since I am originally from Kentucky.

Nate a former football player hung out with his other billionaire friends. When Zeke got married Tammy was in the wedding. She and Nate had been high school sweethearts.

He left for college without saying goodbye. He sent her a letter explaining but never received it. She hated Nate for leaving.

Nate has a chance to become general manager of his professional football team he had played for, but he needs a wife. Can Nate and Tammy put the past behind them? Will she agree to help her business?

You will have to read to find out!

I found the story alright, it was a lovely meeting again between 2 high-school sweethearts who haven't seen each other for several years when Quarter Backer Nate, who left Tammy his cheerleader girlfriend without a last goodbye before going off to College until it was the wedding of 1 of his best mate's who was marrying Tammy's best friend Claudia from College.
But that was it once again for them until Nate's NFL career is up after an injury & he finds out that Tammy is now living in the Hamptons & their friends decide to set them up...
So we see if they can let go off their past heartaches & forgiveness & go forward

Nate and Tammy had been a couple in high school until he left abruptly after graduation. When he was injured Nate was forced to leave pro football and reconnected with Tammy who was now a wedding planner. To help their careers Tammy became the “fake bride” in the title. Would their old feelings return for a HEA?
This was a fun story and I enjoyed reading about all of the characters interactions, especially those from other stories. This book could be read on it’s own but knowing the other characters made it even more fun.
