Unless I read some exceptionally good books, a lot of them, this year, this is going to be in my top 10 of 2019.

I loved the writing style of this book - the plot follows different characters of a family as it paces forward.

I loved the character building - it's such a short read and yet, the characters are deep & relatable. You'll feel so connected to these and sometimes, heartbroken too for a lot of them die. It's a war story, afterall.

I found it a short and entertaining read & loved it very much. Would totally recommend it.

Reading about historical fiction is one of the best thing you can do if you really want to know the hidden secrets of the great Empires. The book deals with the use of new war techniques and the era when the new war techniques were brought to use for the very first time. As, I always say writing about this genre is not so easy because have to always stuck on point. The author makes sure to keep the reader going & at the same time provides an interesting plotline to go with. The narration is superb & I am already in love with it. Characterisation is the heart of the book.

I throughly enjoyed it & I highly recommend it as a must read if you are looking for an interesting & fun packed read. The title & cover too are very amazing.
