It is extremely rare to find reading that combines passion, practice and predicting the future from the world of business but also offering insight into your own experience and based on the author's solid knowledge. Aleksander Poniewierski's SPEED is such a book. I highly recommend this reading because although the past remains unchanged, its interpretations change and what the author is writing about in the context of the future is happening right now in front of our eyes. SPEED your limits and constrains.

Your unawareness of technological opportunities might inhibit your creativity. This book is a very good „one stop shop” on-boarding to existing and emerging trends that will define coming decade in business and digital technologies. If you have been running a successful business and you finally realize that continuity can not be your strategy - read this book. If you heard the concepts but you can’t really explain it well - read it. SPEED’s author well explains key concepts and digital technologies in approachable, actionable way. Concepts are well illustrated with stories of special guests (incl. Cisco, Google)

It is not a top pick for industry experts though, they might enjoy more strategic context and changes implications.
Finally, read it but don’t stop at this one book. There is little about organization culture impact in the book. Once you get ready to prepare for a transformation and get more SPEED - go beyond new models, partnerships and technologies. No shift is risk free and people tend to fear changes. Transformation works best with renewed culture and mindset of your board and team leaders.
Recommended.

A great and engaging read. I recommend it to anyone interested in the strategic impact of technologies in the digital age. How the digital transformation is helping businesses to grow exponentially and what are the cornerstones of the large-scale technology transformation that help to achieve it. It also dives in how enterprises handle organizational change, which is most times slow, and how it can cope with the ultra-fast developments in tech.

The book also includes excellent interviews with great guests.
