Kenyon Porter seemingly has it all; money, power, status, and respect. However, having it all is a matter of opinion. Due to family baggage, Kenyon has lived his life in the fast lane, where money and status have allowed him to live without regret. What happens when a thunderous storm of expectations and need filters its way into his life and causes him to reconsider if he really does have it all.
Rachel Williams is a woman with confidence. Men love her, and she has a close-knit circle that empowers her to feel like there’s nothing she can’t have or accomplish. However, there’s one thing that seems to be out of reach, and that’s the one man who ignites her desire to have something real. Unfortunately, after one man bruised her heart and soul so thoughtlessly, she no longer trusts her judgment enough to hand over her heart to anyone else.
Sometimes people are so damaged that they can’t find their way out of the storm in order to embrace love. Rachel and Porter must decide if what they have is worth fighting for and if they are willing to trust in love and each other. When you can’t completely trust your heart, sometimes it’s just as simple as letting go enough to “Just Say You Will.”

Porter & Rachel had a long hard journey filled with tons of obstacles to include close family members to finally get to their HEA. I did really love their support system, which happen to be their friends. This was a cute story with decent narration.
Rachel got on my damn nerves, but I completely understood why she acted the way she did. Her mother was really something else. I loved how her relationship with Kenyan grew.
This is the story of Porter and Rachel. Rachel got on my nerves a little with her childlike antics. I loved Porter ! He was everything he said he would be and then some.
I love how K.C.mills can have you feeling the characters moods and fears. This is a love story about two people with issues from their childhood that messed with their head. One thinking they can't love unconditionally and the other thinking no one can love them unconditionally. I love the way Kc takes you through the problems and love. Because the only thing both charcters had right was the sex. Great learning experience for people who needs to let go of the past and give love a try.
I cannot believe this couple finally made it happen. Fighting their attraction took way way too much time. The loving they both needed, they found in one another. A few typos and grammar stuff, but still a good read.
This is such a sweet love story! I loved how the characters went through their ups and downs while managing to talk things out eventually. It was heartwarming to see them recognize their issues, have a mature conversation, and come together as a team to move forward.
I really enjoyed this story. Rachel has issues due to her ex and her mums attitude and treatment would be enough to give anybody issues, she is a little childish in her mentality but not a bad character. I loved Kenyan Porter, he is a cool character, he is strong in his beliefs and keeps it real, he has issues of his own due to his father but I loved his attitude. A great well written storyline with plenty of steam and drama. I listened to this on audiobook and the narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the story to life, I enjoyed their tones of voice and was pleasantly surprised at the audio
This standalone is lit. I’m glad my babies got themselves right on track and it taken them a min now their on top of the world. I love how they was looking at the love holt and shan have for each other and see how it is too cause my girl never had it but my boy porter only got some from his mom never his dad. I cried when his mom died. But my girl mom was a peace of work and jealous of her to the tee and I’m glad porter peeped it out and put her on blast. I love and enjoy reading ur books and I’m looking forward to reading more.
Relationships between self-described broken people with commitment phobia are very challenging. Their individual traumas and insecurities can play heavily into unnecessary mistrust and miscommunication. Porter and Rachael did not have an easy or simple journey but learned several important lessons along the way to allow them to grow both emotionally and mentally in order to better people and partners. And once we meet Porter's dad and Rachael's mom, yeah, everything about their poor decision making makes a lot of sense.
Rachel and Kenyon's story is filled with the trials of most relationships that happen after one or both have been hurt. Being able to work though the personal and internal struggles make them even stronger. I would love to see more of their story and how they entertained with other characters from previous books. I would also so love to see Grand's story. You never disappoint!
Wow! I loved this book. You did an awesome job on this. I love Rachael and Porter. I just downloaded this book as soon as I got the email and finished it already. It kept me engrossed in the characters and storyline. I am looking forward to reading more books. Thanks for this one. I waited a while to read this sequel and you did not disappoint at all! Need more stories like this. Kudos!!
I love how Kenyon was able to love on Rachel just how she needed. They both had issues but they lived each other enough to work it out and it paid off in the end. Holy was crazy about his wife and child and it was sweet that he was young and knew that Sutton was his forever. Rachel's mother was a hot Mrs and she needed some help. Kenyon wasn't having the disrespect though and he was what Rachel needed.
Can’t say enough about how I loved reading Rachel and Kenyon’s story 🥰 they were just too cute. On the real, they were both damaged by ties close to home and were too much alike in the beginning for me to even imagine things ending well for them. Mills does it again with a few tears and a bit of heartache thrown in. A lot less errors in grammar and spelling this time around which I appreciate - I am a fan for life.
Rachel and Kenyon faced a lot of hurdles getting to their happy ending. Both had trust issues, parental issues and used sex to over compensate for it all! In the end love won! Rachel's mother was a mess as well as Kenyon's father. I hated what happened to his mom but they were strength for one another and they finally decided to stop fighting it and got their HEA! Great read!
I'm so glad that porter and Rachel got it right they where both dealt a bad parent and didn't know how to embrace the love that they shared. I'm glad that eventually they couldn't fight there feelings anymore. I enjoyed sutton and holt there love story still is amazing.
This was another great read from the author. She’s quickly become one of my one clicks. Rachel and porter took a minute to get it together. Wish we got a little more romance with them. Overall I highly recommend. Love the new characters we are introduced to. I really hope Tyler makes Grand work to get with her.
Kenyon out the a in the word alpha. This man gives me goosebumps. He knew he wanted Rachel and was determined to have her. They both had some issues between them but I am glad they got it together for each other. Now all we need is books on Pence and Nico ,Kamden aka Grandand Tyler and Karter needs a love interest. Very good as always.
This was a great read about forgiveness and letting the past go. Both Rachel and Porter had demons that they faced separately and together, but in the end love prevailed. Rachel did have me wanting to slap her on multiple occasions though!! Always a good read w/ Ms. Mills!!
Although Kenyon and Rachel were both free spirits, they got it together because they wanted a future together. They were both fighting some serious demons from their pasts, but worked through them together. They realized their future was worth it and they wanted happiness. Job well done on this book, KC. Hope to read about Grand and Ty soon.
KC Mills does it again. I loved this story about Rachel and Porter. I’m glad they both worked on and overcame their fears and troubles to make it work. They were made for each other. I loved Sutton and Holt together, also Tayah and Mission. Ty was something else, she has it bad for Grand, I hope he get it right for her. Overall great read!!!!
This book was delightful. There was no kingpins or trap houses. It was a book filled with 2 people with seperate issues trying to figure out how to love one another. Love is not easy and it takes time and patience...thankfully through it all Porter and Rachel found it.
I loved the physical description of Rachael, some one that reminds me of me, height, attitude and all! Kenyon is that tamer I wish was a really dude out here in these streets. Lol. I also loved the deep friendships they shared. I Really enjoyed this read. I hope to read more from this author. Well done..
This book was so good. You have 2 complicated people with a butt load of issues. Kenyon is the most alpha of alpha males. Rachel is the most alpha of alpha females. Neither one grew up with role models and basically lived their lives for themselves to prevent hurt. Once they met, a bond was forged and they figured out how to grow together.
Ms. Mills is the truth✍. This book was great. It was great to see Rachel and Kenyon heal each other and love ❤ each other. They got on my nerves early on but as always, love 💕 wins in the end. It is always nice to revisit characters from the others books 📚 so it was great checking in with Holt. Thanks K. C. for another great story. I look forward to more from this author.👏👍🙌
This was good I wanted to be like Rachel girl if you don't stop and get your man like Sutton said. I liked her and Kenyon together they both had their flaws but when they had each others back it made them unstoppable. I never understood how parents van be so toxic to their children, I'm just glad that with all that in the past they both found love!
